My fave part from this piece comes @1:33 when Doc Ock has Spidey in his grasp. This part also shows up during the train scene. I'm not sure why this part in particular is missing from the official Spider-man film score.
The reason it wasn't included in the film score is that this part was created by Christopher Young, not Danny Elfman. Originally, Danny Elfman created music for the Train scene, but director Sam Raimi rejected it, and Christopher Young made the music. This is why it wasn't included in the film score.
Disagree. Although I appreciate Elfman (and Young as well, because he composed the train score which starts at 1:33 of this track as well) he isn't anywhere near John Williams. They both aren't comparable.
Did you and Spiderman to stop The Underminer and Doc Ock for Terrorize the street? Yes. Did you and Spidey stop Him and Doc Ock from the bank? No! Did you and Mr.Incredible capture them? No we Stop Underminer's machine and Spiderman saved his aunt from Falling the building!
5:10 best part.
definitely

I seriously think Danny Elfman rivals the likes of John Williams and Hans Zimmer.
Well he did do better than hans zimmers score for tasm
NPC toby Well for the first film it was James Horner who did films like Jumanji and Titanic, I think that one is closer but still pales to Elfman’s.
Well... Christopher Young is also in this score
Not to mention his OST for my #1 favorite movie of all time The Next Three Days. Love Danny Elfman
