      Not true.. his mother was a paranoid overbearng control freak so much so that when Elvis tried to live a life away from her she started drinking herself into a coma purposely to make Elvis come back. It killed her. His Dad though never NEEDed Elvis to breathe but he wanted to be there for Elvis so Elvis always had his 1 person he knew he could trust.

      And people are wrong to think Elvis was a puppet. He was like his mother and was a control freak too. So everyone did what Elvis said to or he would simply drop you like you never existed. He controlled everyone and everything around him

      @@GenevaBible1560 Please don't judge.
      Especially back in the day, folks really trusted authority, even like we should be able to.
      I'm sure that Elvis was told by them that it would save many lives, and he believed them. He was trying to help people.
      By now we all have plenty of good evidence, and should know better than to think that we should trust them. It's hard to believe how many still are willing to literally bet their lives on them, while their unworthiness and duplicity is constantly being exposed.
      It's hard for people not brought up in those times to understand what it was like. People didn't even lock their doors at night. There wasn't any internet. About the only informational news that you received was from the authorities.
      People wouldn't have imagined that they were out to hurt them, and most people were good hearted, so assumed so were they. People were very naive, and there certainly were those in the government who took full advantage it.

      Elvis knew how to play people & the image he wanted out there. Thats why the bodyguard book hurt him. It SPOILED his FAKE IMAGE. He was selling rock & Roll to a mostly Christian crowd. If you understand social engineering, you would get it. Break Up of the family is a 100 year plan that is just about finished.

    It's not hard to imagine that Elvis would be the best big brother to his Stepbrothers as he had the most beautiful soul I've ever known a person could haveand to be the best role model to them. Hearing these stories warms my soul and helps me love Elvis even more if that is even possible ❤

      I dont know if elvis was was a good role model for them as because of elvis all three became addicted to drugs. Elvis father use to take them to whore houses while on tours. David stanley and brothers started to become elvis drug runners when he hired them. David would bring elvis cocaine and other prescription pills. Red and sonny west even threatened them to stop bringing elvis drugs but they told on them and both got in trouble by elvis. The main job the stanley brothers had was to clean up after elvis such as needles syringes , prescription bottles and trash. I believe they had to bag up trash and sheets and dispose of them in memphis or somewhere private. These are according to books by the memphis mafia and the stanley brothers. Theres much more sad details. Theres also one to where elvis stole one of the stanley brothers girlfriend for a night. They called ricky the white haven raven because he had alot of elvis prescriptions in his name he even was arrested for falsifying a precription for elvis. Basically he was the fall guy for elvis.

      Elvis had a bad shelfish side too. He got his step brothers & friends addicted to drugs. Elvis DID push pills on lots of people. Marty Lacker over the years had learned to forgive himself for hurting his family. He said that the withdrawl almost killed him & elvis step brother tried to commit suicide & struggled with booze all his life. Listen to a phone call that Anita released. Elvis is gaslighting her about how faithful he is! That is NOT A NICE GUY! Billy said that Elvis knew the affect he had on people & played them for what he was after.

    I grew up listening to his music, Gospel-Country-Rock-and Christmas music and watching his Movies.....with my Mom, she Loved Elvis. When I told her he died she didn't believe me, when she saw that he did indeed die she was heartbroken. I learned today that his Daughter Lisa Marie Presley died, on my Birth Mother's birthday Jan 12th. (I lost my Birth Mother very young, I was adopted by a family friend, so it was my Adoptive Mom that Loved Elvis.) I remember hearing about Elvis Presley's Only Grandson dying, at age 27.....from suicide. (That's how my birth Mother died, at 24 from a nerve pill overdose. It devestated my Grandma.) I feel so bad for Priscilla......and I never knew that Lisa Marie had a half-brother, never realized that Priscilla remarried and had another child. I knew that Elvis's Dad remarried and he had step siblings.....and that he was a twin, and his twin brother Jesse didn't survive birth. That must have been hard on Elvis's Parents. I'm glad that Elvis got to enjoy having Brothers and he was only 42 when he died, and Lisa Marie was 54, ( I am 56. My Biological sister Toni is 55. And that isn't old.) My Adoptive Mom died at 56 from Cancer. My Adoptive Dad was 52, it was a massive heart attack. And my Biological Father died from Cancer, he was 54. All so young.) I feel sad for Lisa Marie's daughters to......the oldest lost both her Brother and now her Mom...and the Twins, are just early teens, about 15 years old. Death is horrible..... heartbreaking. Prayers to Priscilla and Riley and Harper and Finley.....and the rest of their families. I think that Elvis Presley's Dad Vernon Presley is still alive. If so, then he truly must be sad, losing his first wife, His son Jesse at birth, then His son Elvis, then his great-Grandson, then his Granddaughter. So tragic.

      @Krishna Ghosh
      Well how do you know that he dealt fine
      w/his dad's 2nd marriage?
      When Elvis was so closely bonded w/his mother? Vernon certainly didn' t waste any time to date after he buried his wife in 1958. He already married his 2nd wife by 1960. Even the commentator said Elvis accepted his step-brothers BETTER than accepting his dad remarrying. Considering that Elvis was out of the country for 2 yrs. That had to be a shock to come home and accept a new step-mother. Like I said, Vernon didn' t waste any time getting out & dating women. Kinda sad he laid that on his son, knowing how close his son was to his mom. This tells us Elvis' s new step-brothers were Billy Stanley, David Stanley, Rick Stanley. Commentator mentions Elvis met Jonas, his younger brother when he came home from Germany. So is Jonas another Step- brother? Or did Vernon have Jonas with Dee, making Jonas a half brother?

      Elvis misbehaved with ALOT of people, dragging one woman out of the house by her hair, kicking her butt out onto the porch. Stabbing a woman in the breast with a que stick like a spear, permanently injuring her breast. Just because she needed people to move their cars so she could leave. He never bought her anything. She could of and should of sued him!

They wrote many books saying negative things, many made up lies to make a dollar. Their mother accused Elvis of incest. They were always in trouble and taking drugs according to sources.
