I don't get why people are throwing a fit about Brian. The guy came out and practically insulted the judges from the beginning. Who wants to put up with that throughout the competition? The judges didn't seem to appreciate it at all so I don't see what the big deal is. I get he shouldn't have said some of that but when a contestant is like that from the start joking or not it's going to put you in a bad light.

Wow they really need new judges for Australia's got talent... everyone has there own opinion on what being rude is ( I personally didn't feel he was being rude ) his only crime was being too comfortable with the judges and joking around, the judges aren't there to judge someone on there attitude and quite frankly the audience loved him even for his "rude" behavior.
I think it was very unprofessional of Bryan to attempt to belittle this guy on two occasions before he'd even performed. There was an arrogance there from the outset when he pushed his buzzer and laughed that was really unbecoming. The other two judges I feel were bias in their reception thereafter watching vicariously through him; at the end it all reminded me of three school bullies.
that's horrible Brian, bully the guy on public tv, rip the heart out of the guy cause he was a bit over zealous and most likely was saying a few silly things in effort to compensate for nerves
+Guy Emron I totally disagree with you, obviously you take things the wrong way. I guess that what he meant was that at that point the only way to go through was to get the judges aproval. So, yes, the only opinion that matter on that specific moment was theirs. Because if you watch the show, in order for you to get to the point of the people votes, you need to go through a series of stages with the judges... If they don't like you from the beginning, then, you are srewed.
What they don't understand Juan is that AGT is simply a stepping stone to the real deal. If he got no respect for the judges here, what more for his audiences in the future? It should've been a proper advice but of course, cocky as he is, he spit it back. Being a big-headed artist in the start of a career guarantees not even a mile away
u as a contestant should respect the judges. Brian did the right thing! his just teaching the guy what his attitude should be. he may be really talented, but imagine if their is someone who is talented as this guy who would you choose? d one who is talented but have a very rude attitude or d one who is also talented but have a very pleasant attitude? being nice does have points too.. and Brian is the judge why do u care he was not put their if he have no knowledge about being a judge right?
He was right when he said to the contestant that he was being cocky (even if he was acting cocky as a joke) talent and being cocky are not a good match on the music industry
Yea, and there's a difference between rude and informal. Owen was being, at most, INFORMAL; even that being totally appropriate given that his comments were meant to be a prelude to his performance: the very thing on which he is being judged. The judges say they want personality, Owen opens with swagger and they crucify him... absolute bullshit. The very fact that they had him return for another audition shows that the producers know they fucked up.
Way to go Brian, your a winner in my books, Don't listen to the judges friend, your real and i can appreciate that much more then fake people. Some people cant take a joke. and evidently the judges 2 of them by the ways ego needs a little deflating, maybe they need to go broke and hit the bar scene, to see where the real struggle begins, and then they might understand what a little fun sarcasm can be sometime....
The judges, Brian in particular, could have put it in a different way... I agree Owen was being a bit cocky maybe because he was really talented and he knew it; he probably thought that he was better talented than the 3 judges sitting in front of him. However, to climb to the top of his profession, Owen needs to understand that he needs to act humble. I believe the reason why many people found Brian wrong or gone a bit too far in this video, it is because he appears giving Owen 'no' because Owen's manner offended him not because he wants Owen to realise that his humour could appear offensive. In my opinion, the fault lies with Owen and it would have been better if Brian gave him his ruling in a bit more adultlike fashion.
you serious dude? Westlife is a leyend and they just separated last year with thousands of people showing up at their farewell concert, and they're forgoten already, really? Anyways, even if what you said was true, Brian did have a point and he was right to vote that rude guy out.
Sure it's a talent competition, and that to a great degree is subjective. But the contestant has to learn if he CAN NOT be respectful to 3 judges when the competition isn't yet really tough, like in the last 2 weeks, how in the WORLD will he be respectful and cooperative when the chips are down. Music business is VERRRRY competitive. Judges, audiences, the public, studio managers, recorders, business managers, seriously are NOT going to take that crap from anyone when thousands are trying to break into the music business. And they DONT have to. NO ONE will follow an arrogant obnoxious jackass when there is talent out there attached to manners, humility, and good stage presence. Glad to see he was told off! He'd best learn a lesson from this, or he won't be working -- Anywhere,,,
I'm from Australia and I know Brian but I guess that's just me but still, Brian is pretty famous. Randy Holley should at least have seen Brian in Westlife videos before, seeing that Westlife was pretty big.
in fairness he did deserve a no..yes he is talented but you do need a bit of respect and dannii was that they are given him a huge oppurtunity..if you look at the music industry the majorty of artists who have long careers do have some respect, all you have to do is look at dannii's sister Kylie!
the ones who support this Owen should have been laugh at by Owen. I bet Owen will never be famous like Brian if he still behave rudely like this. I really disgust Owen 's too much supporters.
Bro pretty hard to understand that gibberish but this was an edited video and Owen has toured the world and been invited to play at some big festivals. Wakey wakey
It's sad to me , I see both sides but everyone should be shown respect . At least when Owen apologized that should be accepted as well . But good old Pride , messes up a lot of things ! Judges are a little full of themselves they forget how their bread got buttered ,
Yeah...its true. He is a jerk. Because if people dont like even a little thing about you, they still have a lot of other stars to turn on. And always keep in your mind...there're still a million of people outside there are dying waiting for a chance to be a star.
He has no right to walk off all pissed and upset. He's there to be judged and to impress the judges; they're the ones with the power to put him through. This was not a performance. It was an audition. Disregarding them is no way to go about it.
Apply that to any other instance. "He didn't do anything to break the law but the officers had the power to lock him up so he should just let them strip search him and take it like a man if he's tazed". Refusing to question authority, or rather, perceived authority, is very dangerous.
first of all, at the end he DEFINITELY said he was just joking around with the judges because he didn't think they were egotistical maniacs who had too much pride and couldn't handle a joke. Kyle didn't even care. Brian needs to get off his high horse. Rejecting a contestant who was obviously talented to feed his pride is not how talent is judged.
InTheMist03200 True. If had not wanted judges ruining his show, he could have just organized a concert of his own where he'd face no one but his adoring fans. It's like going to a fruit shop to have a haircut.
I agree! Sure, the contestant could have had less of a cocky attitude, but that one judge on the left was being too much. He didn't know he was coming across as cocky!
He mispronounced a name which is an honest mistake and they began to act rude towards him, he was trying to be nice and they just shrugged it off and made it awkward. Then he said to pretend the judges weren't there seeing as they were being rude. Thought this was a talent show not an ass kissing show.
An object lesson in arrogance. If you're going to be cocky and think you can say what you like and get away with it, be prepared for one hell of a come down when karma slaps you in the face.
If you go back and look at the video again........you can see he was just being witty and funny and they couldn't take it. I guess it sucks being shown up by a contestant.
There's a fine line between cracking a joke and being rude. You lost you chance there mate. Hope you've learned some manners from this experience, that is, if you're aware about why you were not considered first off.
The guy was a idiot. I would have done the same as Brian. The guy got the lesson he deserved. The fat judge should have been loyal and told him were to go like Dani and Brian. McFadden wasn't just in a boy band. About 4 solo albums and wrote for lots of other people.
As a MASSIVE Owen Campbell fan. McFadden needs to grow up and grow a pair, sure hes got a good singing voice, but he is a legend in his own mind. he could stand being brought down to everyone elses level. Owen has the nuts to be straight up and bold, which right there won it for me, McFadden needs to come down to earth and figure out that hes nothing more than Owen was, and Owen did a damn good job showing Brian that himself. GOOD ON YA OWEN
This guy really should've kept his mouth shut. I mean really? "My aim isn't to be in a boyband chief." If he's referring to Westlife, he needs to check how much success Brian had in Westlife
+Adrian Saechao depends how you rank success - success by making shitloads of money and having tasteless housewives crying at your crap then yeah..... but if you rank success as making beautiful music, then yeah-nah....not so much. he was a member of a manufactured business venture that sold advertising jingles at an over-inflated price - he's a dick.
+Hoopylasss11 lol no he's not. money aside, westlife made good music and had talented singers. There are still real people writing the lyrics and music.
***** They don't have to write the songs to sing them well. They are still talented singers. Also I'm pretty sure you don't know any of that for a fact.
You wouldnt be able to go into a bank for a loan and be disrespectful or try and "relax" the manager....why here? There is a fine line and a way to behave wherever we go. People should do their homework....its only right.
Celeste Miles I'll swear all as fucking much as I damn well please. People like you think you are better then others, but behind closed doors the real you shows and you end up just as bad or worse then any of us.
I would have thought it to be common sense to make a good first impression when auditioning! His lack of respect and his cocky attitude got him knocked back and I honestly don't blame the judges for not liking him! At least next time he may be more mature and make it seem like the audition meant something to him!
MarshmallowCUPCAKee1 very good comment I was looking for a comment here that has a since of humor...lol 😂😂😂 Because there's so many people here commenting being ass just like the guy who's auditioned
Brian practically summed up the toxicity of the music "industry" or "business" or whatever you want to call this spoiled, mainstream, auto-tuned, no-talent, crap handful of pampered individuals who compete for who can sell the most records in one week. Music should be something that brings people together and creates joy in people's hearts. Brian apparently doesn't agree. However, the only people Brian even communicate with are most likely only people who have a personal VEVO Channel on UA-cam. Don't get me wrong, certain artists do what they love, and make money off of talent, the sum of all people love their music and that's why they buy it. For example; Jared Leto is a skilled musician, actor, and songwriter. He has won Oscars for his film work and undoubtedly could have pursued just that career and made millions, but he did not. Jared returned to his band, (Thirty Seconds to Mars), after starring in Dallas Buyers Club and did what he loved the most... Not what payed the most. Everyone should look in Brian's direction and scowl at his selfish, money driven "knowledge" of the "business" while people like this (In Brian's words) TALENTED man continue to struggle to pay simple taxes and bills on their minimum wage budget even though they're only trying to bring music to everyone around them.
first impressions. you only get one. in the us he'd probably get all No's. show some respect. regardless. he insulted a judge...not a nose up his ass. just respect. would he show same respect for agent or label? just saying.
LOL he started making jokes, judges couldnt take em, then Brian insulted him and he stood up for himself, and for gods sake the show is purely about talent not attitude, and he's got more talent than those 3 judges
I think your overthinking this a bit. Brian simply said no to teach this guy a lesson on attitude. He came out cocky and a smart arse and copped his right wack. It obviously worked becuase he came back for another audition, apoligised and all was fine. Stop overthinking things people.
If he really is talented and wasn't wrong in his attitude and expression that he kept giving I guess he would get the recognition he deserves but Brian wasn't wrong in saying what he did and saying no is not showing any kind of pride it's his right as a judge to do that. Talent is definitely important but attitude matters too.
I like McFaddens music a lot as a child bit I think he went over it a bit, I'm Irish myself and your man Owen was just having a laugh clearly messing. He did have talent and it's annoying they didn't put him threw cause of his "attitude"
I agree with judges. I mean the guy was an idiot. A smart person wouldn't mess with the people who hold your future of being on the show in their hands. A smart person wouldn't mess with the person who serves/cooks food for you in a restaurant because they have the power to make it the best or worst meal you can have.
Owen is much smarter than you, he's actually a great guy, who has toured the world and is successful in his own right. You are watching an edited version, the full clip is much more interesting as less biased.
Is it a Talented show or an attitudes show? First i dont Know why Brian buzzed his buzzer wth for?? He should tell him off then give him a yes cos he deserves it cos anyone will Learn to respect not everyone will get Opportunities to make their Dreams come reality Im Pretty sure his a hard Headed man Brian For Leaving the best boy band in the world that made him who he is

"This is a non smoker building"
What he meant by that is that jury are fuckin steamers
I think it was very unprofessional of Bryan to attempt to belittle this guy on two occasions before he'd even performed. There was an arrogance there from the outset when he pushed his buzzer and laughed that was really unbecoming. The other two judges I feel were bias in their reception thereafter watching vicariously through him; at the end it all reminded me of three school bullies.
Brian is either a narcissist or sociopath .
@@MeiYingLim really??
that's horrible Brian, bully the guy on public tv, rip the heart out of the guy cause he was a bit over zealous and most likely was saying a few silly things in effort to compensate for nerves
translation: its only us that matters
+P “Ponyboy” Boye Exactly - seems to be the entire point of the show - to boost the judge's egos
+Juan David Chavarro but it's australia's got talent not australia let's anybody they like join.
Brian you insult him and he stood up for himself, Brain your the one thats chocky
Don't cut short the full video of what happened. I support the judges.
His attitude wasn't even that bad
lkr
It is. There's a difference between being funny and being rude.
Jess Dunkeld jj
I started crying when he left..becuz he would hav felt so bad he was rejected like that
Way to go Brian, your a winner in my books, Don't listen to the judges friend, your real and i can appreciate that much more then fake people. Some people cant take a joke. and evidently the judges 2 of them by the ways ego needs a little deflating, maybe they need to go broke and hit the bar scene, to see where the real struggle begins, and then they might understand what a little fun sarcasm can be sometime....
He made a bad joke he insulted Brian and the boy band
brian was definately right you may have talent but that is nothing when you have an attitude like that
The judges, Brian in particular, could have put it in a different way...
It sounded tongue and cheek to me. They took that way too personal!
you serious dude?
He'd best learn a lesson from this, or he won't be working -- Anywhere,,,
I literally don't see what he did wrong at first, he just retaliated to the judges being upset over nothing.
Honestly fucked up how the judges treated him. Very unfair. Wish there was a post interview to review the situation
moral : attitude is number 1
I'm from Australia and I know Brian but I guess that's just me but still, Brian is pretty famous. Randy Holley should at least have seen Brian in Westlife videos before, seeing that Westlife was pretty big.
i swear the crowd cant make up their mind.
in fairness he did deserve a no..yes he is talented but you do need a bit of respect and dannii was that they are given him a huge oppurtunity..if you look at the music industry the majorty of artists who have long careers do have some respect, all you have to do is look at dannii's sister Kylie!
You live under a rock. Every star has a cocky attitude.
Did you forget this show is called Australia's got talent not personality. If it was personality show those judges wouldn't even be there.
You mean when Dannii posed for Playboy to keep her B list rating lol
the ones who support this Owen should have been laugh at by Owen.
I bet Owen will never be famous like Brian if he still behave rudely like this. I really disgust Owen 's too much supporters.
Bro pretty hard to understand that gibberish but this was an edited video and Owen has toured the world and been invited to play at some big festivals. Wakey wakey
ego... afraid that someone has more talent
It's sad to me , I see both sides but everyone should be shown respect . At least when Owen apologized that should be accepted as well . But good old Pride , messes up a lot of things ! Judges are a little full of themselves they forget how their bread got buttered ,
Honestly the judges arent even that popular LOL
If yous call what he did to the judges joke, mahn yous need to know the difference between joking and belittling!
Yeah...its true. He is a jerk.
Because if people dont like even a little thing about you, they still have a lot of other stars to turn on.
And always keep in your mind...there're still a million of people outside there are dying waiting for a chance to be a star.
He was making a fucking joke.. the judges are just retarded honestly.
It's like going to a fruit shop to have a haircut.
it was the judges job to put through talented people, and he wasn't even rude to begin with
Judges have an attitude, he did try to apologize!! Hurt their feelings, lol. Three jerk judges caught up in their feelings!
They get told the judges before the show
An object lesson in arrogance. If you're going to be cocky and think you can say what you like and get away with it, be prepared for one hell of a come down when karma slaps you in the face.
I always support Brian McFadden. Nobody has the right to insult him!
If you go back and look at the video again........you can see he was just being witty and funny and they couldn't take it. I guess it sucks being shown up by a contestant.
You don't joke like that with people you don't know, and especially ones who will decide your fate.
He deserved it. He scuttled his own chances by being a jerk!
There's a fine line between cracking a joke and being rude. You lost you chance there mate. Hope you've learned some manners from this experience, that is, if you're aware about why you were not considered first off.
They’re there to judge his talent not his attitude,it goes to show their capacity or lack there of to judge properly
brian is right..iloveyou brian.....and miss you..
Brian has no talent
@@GeoffreySplaneChannelowww, come on... Brian is talented
The guy was a idiot. I would have done the same as Brian. The guy got the lesson he deserved. The fat judge should have been loyal and told him were to go like Dani and Brian.
McFadden wasn't just in a boy band. About 4 solo albums and wrote for lots of other people.
his an idiot. his the one talking shit and then get rude
Mate, I pity you if you think this was justified.
Brian was nominated once in 2010 ... That's about the all the awards he has won as a music artist... Lol
Hello guys. I'm learning english and can't understand "australian english". Please, could someone write what that man said? Thank you so much.
It's his remarkable style . Brian mcfadden I don't even heard this name?
Talent is talent no matter what.
This guy really should've kept his mouth shut. I mean really? "My aim isn't to be in a boyband chief." If he's referring to Westlife, he needs to check how much success Brian had in Westlife
+Adrian Saechao
depends how you rank success - success by making shitloads of money and having tasteless housewives crying at your crap then yeah.....
but if you rank success as making beautiful music, then yeah-nah....not so much.
he was a member of a manufactured business venture that sold advertising jingles at an over-inflated price - he's a dick.
+Hoopylasss11 lol no he's not. money aside, westlife made good music and had talented singers. There are still real people writing the lyrics and music.
***** They don't have to write the songs to sing them well. They are still talented singers. Also I'm pretty sure you don't know any of that for a fact.
***** You know what that is. That's your opinions not a fact.
If hes half as successful as Westlife he'll be doing alright
Shouldn't the judges judge his talent and not how he is. I mean he had the talent.
You wouldnt be able to go into a bank for a loan and be disrespectful or try and "relax" the manager....why here? There is a fine line and a way to behave wherever we go. People should do their homework....its only right.
Is this a bank you dense fuck?
J3TPILOT1991 I didnt say THIS WAS a bank, I said you wouldnt be able to go INTO a bank and be disrespectful. Dont swear....its common.
Celeste Miles I'll swear all as fucking much as I damn well please. People like you think you are better then others, but behind closed doors the real you shows and you end up just as bad or worse then any of us.
Celeste Miles bad analogy
They're supposed to be judging him on his talent not attitude
Still, he's going in a showbusiness where attitude and talent is a must...
+Liam Walsh But talent should count more than attitude
not if you want people to like you its a no from me
he didn't have to be an asshole manners please if you want to make it in show business
Victor Milligan what about Kanye West
I would have thought it to be common sense to make a good first impression when auditioning! His lack of respect and his cocky attitude got him knocked back and I honestly don't blame the judges for not liking him! At least next time he may be more mature and make it seem like the audition meant something to him!
MarshmallowCUPCAKee1 that was not normal audition. judge kicking him already before he start.
MarshmallowCUPCAKee1 very good comment I was looking for a comment here that has a since of humor...lol 😂😂😂 Because there's so many people here commenting being ass just like the guy who's auditioned
I agree with your comment, first impressions count
Didn't see the guy having attitude. I think judges think they're bigger than they are... Primadonas
His comments weren't snarky, they were dismissive and insulting toward the judges. Even if he was going for funny, it came across as belittling..
That dude just needs to stop talking...he's digging himself deeper and deeper with Brian...good on Brian telling him!
Good on you Bryan for telling him straight
Brian is an irish right?
Yep! Former member of Westlife...
The only time Ive ever agreed with Brian McFadden. Cant stand the guy but he was right.
The judges were cocky I didn't find it offensive what he said he just said pretend the judges are not there so he could most probably feel at ease
Brian was right his attitude going to far..
first impressions. you only get one. in the us he'd probably get all No's. show some respect. regardless. he insulted a judge...not a nose up his ass. just respect. would he show same respect for agent or label? just saying.
Not much chance of you overthinking anything, is there...
This is why there's a say you need a good attitude to be successful
I'm with Brian
I agree with judges. I mean the guy was an idiot. A smart person wouldn't mess with the people who hold your future of being on the show in their hands.
A smart person wouldn't mess with the person who serves/cooks food for you in a restaurant because they have the power to make it the best or worst meal you can have.
Owen is much smarter than you, he's actually a great guy, who has toured the world and is successful in his own right. You are watching an edited version, the full clip is much more interesting as less biased.
But... without those people who you been waiting to come for you foods... will you call your restaurant a restaurant?
Just bow down in submission... Way to live a life.
Anybody can put subtitle in this video ?! PT BR pls...
Is it a Talented show or an attitudes show? First i dont Know why Brian buzzed his buzzer wth for??
He should tell him off then give him a yes cos he deserves it cos anyone will Learn to respect not everyone will get Opportunities to make their Dreams come reality
Im Pretty sure his a hard Headed man Brian For Leaving the best boy band in the world that made him who he is
Fair play to you Brian. we need good manners now more then ever. 100 / behind you.
Because Westlife doesn't need Brian
This guy needs his own show
brian is a member of westlife before..google it...
Just remember mates that judge's job here is not only to assess, but to suggest and give advice.
THAT was a proper advice before before that guy said that quote below.
Brian McFadden chose to marry Kerry Katona - so NEVER listen to anything he has to say.
simon should judge this guy
McFadden was just butt hurt as he doesn't understand the Aussie humour lol
He was upset because he’s a precious little ego-ridden twat.
The judges were just pissed that the guy didnt see them as Gods.
Yeah, because asking for a little respect makes you a God. Try getting humiliated in front of an audience and a national telly
@@bluenights3114 he wasn't even being rude nor was he asking for respect but Brian was asking to be the centre of the show. As he stated it's all about him lol.
