Susan Boyle is the reason NO-ONE should EVER judge a book by it's cover. Everyone including Simon was laughing at her from the moment she walked out on stage and what she delivered was instant Karma to EVERYONE in that room. She won BGT that year and immediately afterwards had a few set backs due to health issues and today she is one of Britain's most famous singers. She looks much, much different these days than she did in her original audition but regardless of then or now she's a beautiful woman who's beauty is far more than skin deep. She's truly beautiful inside and out. Next time you think about judging someone think of Susan Boyle and remember that Karma is only a judgement away.
I love that she did indeed do a concert with Elaine Paige. It’s incredible and Susan still lives in her council house she’s had for many years, despite being wealthy and famous
Don't sayever judge the book by its cover. These judges have love and care. They even make fun for the performer to feel ease and take it simply to stand before the audiance. At the end of performance they give right credit with fairness
I'm sorry but Susan Boyle came in second that year... the dance group known as Diversity was the winner... but she made THE highest ranked debut album in UK history later that year... not winning didn't slow her down even a little! Now, she is internationally loved!

I normally don't watch AGT but happened to ran into UA-cam and saw this Filipino young man auditioning in AGT. He seems all over UA-cam as AGT contestant buzzing how good this Filipino contestant is. I never heard of him. So I watched him and what the reactions from many channels. Thank you for your channel supporting our artists. América is great for these artists for welcoming them in audition. Wow!! Impressive!! Amazing bravado raspy soulful, Steven Tyler, ACDC grit voice, have so much control and could blend a power ballad song a big song to tackle in a stellar performance for not such a big young man. He has no professional vocal couch but did an amazing performance. At the beginning he was so nervous, emotional but once he started he sure did own the stage and the crowds. I even cried watching him getting emotional and nervous. I would be too. Even Simon reaction was surprised. A standing ovation. Haha!! Now I'd been watching him from different channels and listening his auditioned performance over and over. Funny, I even listen to his audition to wine down on sleep lol!! He is also such a humble young man. He was very gentleman assuring Heidi getting back on steps carefully. Great job!! Praying you go all the way to the final. Thank you for showing this video. Loving it. Sure this boy can sing, very hard working young man, fisherman in the morning and delivery man in the evening. What a tough job. I watched Gamal John's performance about 50 times. Absolutely insane. So glad they didn't take his golden buzzer away. If anyone deserved it, it was him.
Malakai definitely a voice from Heaven; not only an angelic voice his singing completely flawless all the way through his audition. Roland absolutely kicked butt, he brought the roof down. He sings incredibly well. His power reminds me of a great Filipino singer that totally rocks and brought new life to the band that recruited him; none other than Arnel Pineda of Journey.
Much as I loved Jonathan and Charlotte together, Simon was 100% right that Jonathan should be a solo performer. His loyalty to Charlotte just shows how lovely he is. At 17 his voice was magnificent but now, 10+ years later, he is coming into his own! Can’t wait for the next 10 years as his voice matures and he becomes one of the worlds most celebrated classical singers of all time. I have been following his career since that original audition, buying his albums, watching every televised/uploaded performance and have yet to be disappointed. ❤

Maxwell thorpe was incredibly talented. He sang an opera in a foreign language, Italian. To learn a language is 1 thing but to sing it incredibly well, is another.
The name Maxwell Thorpe appears on screen both for the penultimale and the last singers. If your comment is for the solo guy, I totally disagree: the original song is not an opera (link below), and as an italian I did’t like him at all, sorry. Great voice, but really poor pronunciation and sometimes wrong words. Sure he didn’t know what he was singing, much better if he had used his mothertongue. I watched Gamal John's performance about 50 times. Absolutely insane. So glad they didn't take his golden buzzer away. If anyone deserved it, it was him.

Malakai definitely a voice from Heaven; not only an angelic voice his singing completely flawless all the way through his audition.
Roland absolutely kicked butt, he brought the roof down. He sings incredibly well. His power reminds me of a great Filipino singer that totally rocks and brought new life to the band that recruited him; none other than Arnel Pineda of Journey.
Much as I loved Jonathan and Charlotte together, Simon was 100% right that Jonathan should be a solo performer. His loyalty to Charlotte just shows how lovely he is. At 17 his voice was magnificent but now, 10+ years later, he is coming into his own! Can’t wait for the next 10 years as his voice matures and he becomes one of the worlds most celebrated classical singers of all time. I have been following his career since that original audition, buying his albums, watching every televised/uploaded performance and have yet to be disappointed. ❤

Maxwell thorpe was incredibly talented. He sang an opera in a foreign language, Italian. To learn a language is 1 thing but to sing it incredibly well, is another.

If your comment is for the solo guy, I totally disagree: the original song is not an opera (link below), and as an italian I did’t like him at all, sorry. Great voice, but really poor pronunciation and sometimes wrong words. Sure he didn’t know what he was singing, much better if he had used his mothertongue.
If you refer to the guy of 17 yo instead I totally agree, he sung with a perfect italian (just some wrong “z”) and he knew the meaning of the words.
