Coolest show around, was in Chicago Conexpo in 75, yes things have gotten much bigger, the biggest Cat dozer we had was a D9H and they introduced the Cat 777 pit truck at that show.
Brian, I work in construction, been to Con Expo 3 times, best trade show you can ever go to!! But have a good pair of shoes! Gonna walk for miles!! Keep the videos coming!
Great video Brian. Skid loaders, ran them in the late 60s, bought our first in 1970, no roll guard no cab. If I was buying now, only two I would consider because I don’t like the possibility of being trapped inside because of the door opening out. The Kubota with the door that raises up and the JCB with the side entry. The visibility of the JCB is great, right side is no worse then any other skidder! 👨🏻🦳 🐄 🚜
Brian ,that was a very interesting video. As i.I have said in the. past you do an excellent job doing the walking commentary and interviews. Thanks for sharing.
Great Vids from the show and great job trying to cover all that ground. I have watched a few others that were there with you from the Volvo meet and great and man what a show.
Brian I’m a Kubota man for 40 years and besides mini excavators, RTV, and Tracked loader I’m considering the JCB. My first mini loader was a JCB skid steer and the side entry was a first on the market. I would bang the CRAP out of my knees, head, and elbows. The new JCB no longer has this problem and I’m going to be trying it again. Brian what ever you buy tracks are a MUST! I will never go back to tires. ATTENTION JCB GET A DEMO TO BROWN FARMS!
Brian thanks for taking a couple minutes to chit chat with me at the Case booth the end of day one. Hope you enjoyed the show. It is insane how big it is and how much equipment there is
I love your videos I'm a cattle rancher. I started when I was 10 run driving bobcats. I've drove them all the best getter I've ever owned is still day JCB track extend. Arm. The best in the market. It's easy to get in for a big guys like we are !!!
Awesome video. Thanks Brian for sharing it with us. I was supposed to be at the show this year but due to circumstances I couldn’t make it..oh well I’ll plan for the next one.
Great video, I wish I could of made it to con expo. Be like candy land for a heavy equipment operator like myself. And as far as skid steers, definitely love the Kubota. I have put many hours on them at work, and they are definitely a work horse. The door is really great as well, you can pin it up also to keep it open. We run the SVL-95 I wanna say.
That was an awesome show I was there myself the way you were showing your video you were a day a head of me wish I could have met up with you to say hi
@@BriansFarmingVideos how long and how many of you are there.. I will try to get you some passes to a huge party on top of the old hilton next to the exhibits...
Back in 2014, I had the opportunity to go to GM's Flint Assembly plant to watch my Chevy 2500HD High Country get built. They are still using the original wood floor there in most of the factory. The entire assembly line is held down with lag screws. Easy to revamp or upgrade to different assemblies when needed.
If you're looking at forestry mulchers, consider Fecon (Fairfield, OH), and Morbark/CIMAF (Wooster, OH). A kubota doesn't have the hyd cooling to run these. Love the W900! It would look great towing the camper.
Hey Brian what don't you like about your Cat skidsteer? I've got a 299DXHP and I really like it. I can see how the door on the Kubota would be a really nice option.
No JCB. Gotta say the tela-skid is the most useful piece of equipment ive run. Being able to get out of the side without climbing out under a pallet with brick or block on it is great. And the extendable boom on it is useful loading trucks and putting pallets of block across the footing trench. It cant lift a full pallet across but breaking the pallet in half and setting them on the inside saves your back from carrying them across the hole.
Brian, I remember you asking for JCB teleskid operators, Ryan from How Farms Work, has had one for a while now and uses it for all kinds of farm work. I'm sure if you get in contact with him, he will give some honest opinions on them. Ivers Farms are also running one, and I'm sure you can have some pointers from them as well, if needed. Anyway have a great day.
Loved the video Brian, lots of wonderful machinery, I like the case Skid loaders TV620B EZ Trac nice machine, well all I can say You Beaut Video Brian, Cheers & Best Wishes, Regards Trevor.W.Bacelli. Biloela Qld Australia.🐎🐎🐎🐎🦌🦌🦌🐂🐃🐄🐖🐏🐑🐐🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🐨🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘🦃🦃🐔🐓🐓🦋🦋🦋🦋🏵🏵🏵🏵🏵🏵🏵🏵🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌻🌻🌻🌼🌼🌼🍀🍀🌴🌴
Put many hours in a John Deere skid plowing snow, also used a kabota a couple of times. IMO they are neck and neck for comfort, backup cam, ergonomics ect. I would suggest either
Demo a machine that will help you dicide, overhere in europe we have every year in München Germany the baumach, that is huge whit life demo's in big sandpiles ,awesome to experience it, anyways thanks for taking us along, greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
John Deere and Case skid from what I have watched it the best power. I love my Bobcats but those where all 10 years old now and still swear by the old ones but I heard since bobcat went to Doosan motor and the build aren't the same
As someone who has ran kubota svl 97-2 and 95-2 skidders, and Deere 333g, 333e and 330g skidders, I prefer the deeres. At least the ones I have ran are cold blooded and really slow in the winter when it’s cold out. The kubota also just feel more bulky then the deeres and getting in and out, and just the layout on the kubota can isn’t the greatest compared to the deeres. The deeres just feel more nimble and when you get in, everything is in front, unlike the kubota. Also on a kubota you can’t change your control pattern like you can on a Deere
Brain thanks for taking us at this show. I would love to experience this but I can’t support the crowds. Might be why we don’t see Bob there plus flying is getting to be a problem for me.
The volvo excavator you tried out you can adjust the seat and consoles to fit you. It's the best comfortable cab. And you should get a Huddig backhoe the absolutely best backhoe in the world.
Good job Brian, you do a good job with the farm shows...right amount of everything except you could shut down some of the salesman that go on autoblab. Why didnt Bob go?...I know he loves the big iron as much as any 6 year old boy.
I had a demo of the new case skid. I hated it. I’ll stick with the cat 299’s. Kabota skids suck ass as well. I’m the heavy construction industry they do at least. For Johnny home owner or light duty shit they’re fine. We have had 3 of them. Switched back to cats 2 years ago. Out of the 6 299’s we have they have been pretty bulletproof.
Thought for sure you'd have guest appearances from let's dig, dirt perfect and Clint from C&C. I'm sure Clint could probably sell you a ripper for your 750 or D8
Not only that. They are just the biggest turds on the market. Worked for a case construction dealer for a few years. We also sold Takeuchi, our salesman rarely pushed the case because we always had def, harness and engine issues out of them
Brother Brian Mike Mitchell just got a Kabota Skid and he loves it because it’s got full bunny 🐰 and it’s fast on the road please make sure you check for the top speed of bunny 🐰 mode 😏🖖🏼❤️🇺🇸
The Case, Kubota, and Takeuchi compact loaders are fantastic. I'd avoid the Deere due to finicky issues and their lockdown on repairing their equipment. Bobcat is hot garbage, they're the cheapest because they build the cheapest. For my money, it would be the Case, Kubota. or Takeuchi. Bulletproof from what I've seen in the field, even nicer than my latest CAT 247B.
I love case equipment. But they have lost it on skid steers. Absolutely everyone is having trouble with the lift frame twisting and or breaking. It not just an isolated instance. They need to go back to the drawing board.
Very sweet w900 I love that and 1st w900 wow great find!!!!!
Awesome Video and Much Love Brian!!
Tks Brian for the Conexpo tour 👌
What an amazing show! Thanks for taking us along.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the vid Brian, for those of us who cannot go to Con-Expo this is a treat for sure!!!!!

Myself and over 2,000 trucks are here in Vegas waiting to load out of that expo
Probably a traffic nightmare
Brian ,that was a very interesting video. As i.I have said in the. past you do an excellent job doing the walking commentary and interviews. Thanks for sharing.
Great video! Went from a Bobcat T300 to a Case TV450B, been real happy with it!
Great Vids from the show and great job trying to cover all that ground. I have watched a few others that were there with you from the Volvo meet and great and man what a show.

Just saw the intro. Solid, my man, love it.
Glad you like it!
Awesome video. Thanks Brian for sharing it with us. I was supposed to be at the show this year but due to circumstances I couldn’t make it..oh well I’ll plan for the next one.
Thanks for watching. Next year, it’ll happen
Love our kubota skidsteers. All SVL-75’s. Smooth, comfortable and easy to work on!
That W-9 is SWEET. my favorite truck is a W-9. Can I get an eighteen speed.
Amazing video, great interviews great machines, especially the bartender lol 👍
Great video, I wish I could of made it to con expo. Be like candy land for a heavy equipment operator like myself. And as far as skid steers, definitely love the Kubota. Top notch movie as always 👍
the DL 550 if you would like to know more about it Dirt Perfect had one and you can see it working there
That was an awesome show I was there myself the way you were showing your video you were a day a head of me wish I could have met up with you to say hi
Used to drive one of those Big Buds in the 80's. 525 and 350
Brian I used to work this show for a hydraulic company. If you walked every aisle and outside exhibit you would walk 26 miles...
I feel all of them.
@@BriansFarmingVideos how long and how many of you are there.. I will try to get you some passes to a huge party on top of the old hilton next to the exhibits...

Was there 3 years ago when the pandemic hit. Hauling out of there is a nightmare. I had a first hand tour of the manitowoc crane area.
I always loved my bobcat T250. Kinda old kinda new. Worked 75% of the time 100% of the time lol. Actually was a great machine especially in side hills
DEF and worry free two words that shouldn't be in the same sentence.
That Kenworth W900 SHHHHHEESH.
You were there I would have loved to come meet you damit 😂 see ya in 3 years
Very good Video 👍

Cab space is terrible for someone my size and the controls on our 242d are not smooth at all even when sensitivity turned down
thank you
Great coverage of the show.
Did you ask Dirt Perfect about Kubota skid steer? He was there and has an opinion on Kabota.
No JCB. Gotta say the tela-skid is the most useful piece of equipment ive run. Being able to get out of the side without climbing out under a pallet with brick or block on it is great. How did I not see yall??
That me in the background at 0:55! On the phone with my boss…

No problem 👍

Nice JD 335
I wonder what0 Liebherr had there? They usually have the biggest equipment there.
Brain thanks for taking us at this show. I would love to experience this but I can’t support the crowds. Might be why we don’t see Bob there plus flying is getting to be a problem for me.
Gary ridgeway the green river killer used to paint kenworth trucks at the Renton plant
Funny that they don’t mention that lol
Yea ten 4 Brian.
Mornin’
Saw that Tellahandter prize was 2 million.. Crazy
Need to talk to Clint at C&C Equipment he'd get you hooked right up with a ripper for either dozer.
W900L...oh yes!!
I always wanted to go, but never got the chance.
The volvo excavator you tried out you can adjust the seat and consoles to fit you. It's the best comfortable cab. And you should get a Huddig backhoe the absolutely best backhoe in the world.

Another good one men. Now get back farming lol I’m starting to have withdraws.
You and me both!
Talk to Michael Simon, "Dirt Perfect" about the Kubota (bad) and the Minatuer(spelling) (very good).
Ask Clinton from C&C for a ripper!
I had a demo of the new case skid. I hated it. I’ll stick with the cat 299’s.

I fangirled you and Randy after the show Tuesday. I wish I had my shit together and could talk.
Lol no problem
Good stuff
Glad you enjoyed
What Title podcast can we find you under with Randy?
Haven’t uploaded it yet I’ll announce it when I do
Thought for sure you'd have guest appearances from let's dig, dirt perfect and Clint from C&C. I'm sure Clint could probably sell you a ripper for your 750 or D8
Good video.
Love my little Deere 317G, really a powerhouse for its size but does not have high flow. If I did not have a Deere I would have a Takeuchi
4.2 million sq ft. thats a big gig. that's almost 100 acres.
Nice video
Whatever you do DO NOT by a case skid. Roughest riding track skids on the face of the planet.
I second this. Literally the worst skids out there
All tracked skidsteers are rough as hell apart from the mtl versions
All ctls ride rough also there coming out with a new suspension type that’s what half of that segment was about
Not only that. They are just the biggest turds on the market. Worked for a case construction dealer for a few years. We also sold Takeuchi, our salesman rarely pushed the case because we always had def, harness and engine issues out of them
That’s why I went with ASV best riding machine out there.
Dirt Perfect tried one out and he loved it 😂!

My father was at that show!
Mike Mitchell just got a Kubota Skid Steer. Might be worth checking the video
Farming fixing fabricating ran one too
I'm 6'5 360 pounds and even the case sr170s have plenty of room.
It mightbe OVER KILL but why don't you'll use the D8 to pull through tile plow?
Is there a corn con ?
Have you ever been to the ARA show? I hear it's worth it.
I want one of those and one of them and give me two of those…..
ran a few sanys..you made the right move with the cat ..
theres my wounderful komatsus great job SMS equipment on there komatsus 🙂
I love case equipment. But they have lost it on skid steers. Absolutely everyone is having trouble with the lift frame twisting and or breaking. It not just an isolated instance. They need to go back to the drawing board.
Go see dirt perfect. They tried a new machine case is out. It does come with rubber tracks and it is not too bad riding.
I can see your dad wanting to buy a lot of different equipment there lol
My sister was there for CAT
Bobcat skidloader is one of the best just so you know
Some say the exact opposite lol
Whoa you skipped over the kobelco booth......
Try and demo an ASV PosiTrac…. Hands down the superior skid loader on the market. And no, I don’t work for them.
check out lets dig 18 hes really good
Mr Bob would have loved this show!!!! Might have cost ya if he had gone!!!
