Mark's face at 3:14 is priceless 😂
So young, cute and the smile, so rare. 💓🔥😘💓🔥
Yes ❤❤
His smile isn’t from this earth.
nice tribute to Chet by Mark. thanks for the recognition Mark.
My two guitar idols! Love them both ❤️💕
Mark always so cute ❤❤❤❤❤
No one played a guitar more beautifully than Chester. It says a lot about Mark's talent that they made some fantastic music together.
My two favorite guitarists in one video. Sad to say they don't make them like this anymore. Real musical notes, and not the noise you hear now where you cant tell a C chord from a cat screeching. I'm blessed to live in Appalachia where this sound isn't totally dead.
Two immortal geniuses!!!
great atkins and lovely knopfler
Yes ❤❤❤❤
Mark always hits the mark, what a player , I'm glad they spent so much time together a perfect pair can't stop listening ty you guys..
Like father and son.
Real guitar hero's
too excellent musicians who really seem to get off playing with one another.i could listen to these guys all day.
Chet along with Elvis & others were Mark's guitar inspirations from his early childhood, and Chet had admired Mark's playing for Dire Straits in the early 80's. They eventually recorded together, & in 1986 and their efforts were rewarded with the 1986 Grammy award for " Best Country Instrumental Performance with "Cosmic Square Dance". Really interesting stuff. Thanks for sharing
Just playing along, so relaxed, so good. Love to hear it. Miss Chet.
Thank you Mark ! Y love Chet
Sadly missed by many.....
I was in heaven when I heard Neck and Neck. My favorite guitarist -- Chet, and my favorite rock guitarist -- Mark, playing together brilliantly!
He would have wanted us to be happy, not really to be mourned. :)
sad they never got to make that complete album with a real band - would have been epic - I always jam to neck and neck
Our favourite men of music , sadly Chet is playing in the sky now. Maybe, I will see Mark play before I go to the sky. Lindsay & Lucky Sidwell
Adoro esses vídeos.
Obgda Mark👍🇧🇷
I hear Django Reinhardt evey time I listen to Chet - had to be a serious influence on his style - I love that swing sound - seems to follow into the Western Swing - that I'm am familar with.
W/O. the Music Histpry - I only know what my ear delivers -
Had to be a great expierience working w Chet and for him tpo have access to and respect from - some of the greatest in the world - Mark probably is the greatest - wow..
Brings a tear to my eye to listen to them play John Lennon’s IMAGINGE . “Nothing to kill or die for and no religion too “. Well, maybe some day , some day
when MTV used to have 'music'.
Two of my influences, alongside Buddy Holly....
Oh man I just noticed the user name!!! If this is the real Mark Knopfler then you got to know the joy your music has brought to me over the years. I spend hours watching your live concerts on here. From Sultans of Swing to I Used to Could you're still the greatest out there today. Some nights I just stay up listing to Romeo and Juliet and Going Home over and over.
one of my mentors a real master on the guitar.
Chet can play. Mark can play too. Both men can definitely play the guitar.

Not a musician, but you can sense that Chet Atkins was a genuinely kind Soul!
