I like the idea of a Stone age Bat - family trying to stop Mr Freeze from bringing the ice age. Or that's how I like to think of it.
I know some people ripped on this wave because "More Batman" and it being something weird, but honestly to me these are the waves i enjoy from McFarlane 😅 i absolutely love the Mr. Freeze design and think the stone age batman is kind of neat.
Just pre-ordered myself so hoping mine get here next week!

I've been not getting any McFarlane stuff for like a year now, but honestly that Batman and Mr. Freeze are kinda tempting, I really like the aesthetic of both of them, as you said I had thought sticking that Batman with Masterverse stuff, and Freeze is just a cool bulky Victorian diver.
These figures looked pretty boring at first but the designs for batman and robin are way too cool. Batman looks like a masters of the universe character and robin looks like an anime character. Definitely gonna have to get those two
Solid wave! Been waiting for this wave to hit my Walmarts and just found them today. Didn't know Batgirl had a chase, wish I saw this video before finding the wave at that Walmart. Dont even remember if she was a black or blue color😢 Didnt have enough funds for more than 1 fig so I went for the fig I was hyped to see, Mr. FREEZE. BONKERS FIG AND I CANT WAIT TO OPEN AND PLAY WITH HIM.
I had the batman. and for me this is one of the best mcfarlane toys ever produce

Batman! Is my favorite! I waited on these figures to go on sale and it paid off. Batman reminds me of dark darkwolf from fire and ice! A figure I still dream of getting.
I passed on Batgirl and Robin, but I think you've talked me into the Batgirl. With Freeze and Batman on the way, I suppose I'll get Robin at some point to complete the wave.
I love the Page Punchers line(s). The comics that come with the bigger figures are especially cool since they are new original stories. I really liked this specific wave a lot.
Yeah Batman is definitely one of those type of characters that works in prehistoric setting maybe not morally but in terms of looks

Batman looks like a Beast, but that Robin goes hard though! This is an interesting wave, but I dig it! 🔥Robin reminds me of the Mutants in Dark Night Rerurns.
I'm bored of Batfarlane Bat Toys' endless Batman figures, but these ones actually look good.
I'm so excited for these, can't wait for my pre-order. Going to have to hunt down that chase

I just noticed! (Cause Inma begin my own custom McFarlne customs business).
They decided to NOT include a trigger on Mr Cold's "gun", so that they could pass it for legal "toy approvement", as that will just count as an extra "item", but not as a "real gun weapon"!
(Like NERF).

Yep, these are awesome. I ordered Batgirl and Robin from Target thinking Batman and Mr. Freeze would be the easier to find in store. They haven't shown up yet and I got the Batgirl a week or so ago and had no idea there was a chase version. Wonder if that one will be in stores when they officially drop. Thanks for the amazon link, I just bought Batman!

The art in general is Really Good for A FREE comic. A beautiful wave besides Robin, who could of been "cooler" (get it)...

Robin could have used more bird motives. Maybe a pair of gliding wings similar to what Tim Drake wore as Red Robin made out of practical materials.

I know you said you don't like to paint but in my opinion McFarlands current offerings are the best figures to paint. Even if you just put like dry brush or do small things like rivets. They are easy to practice on and the results come out amazing!
Using Walmart _Painters_ paint pens (fine tip) & their only $2.50 !! I turned my Doomsday out! Using A "bone white" paint pen. While mixing black & brown in the crevices. Than Going over it w/ the bone white. The acrylic paint works great on everything McFarlane & Legends except the thicker plastic capes. I'm gonna have to grab Freeze tomorrow at Walmart. And pick up an Icey Blue paint pen, to re-color them gloves. The comic looks pretty "cool" as well (get it)..
These figures all look fine but I will never buy anything in clamshell packaging again, we've moved past it and DC packaging is usually fantastic as it is
How easy would it be to cut Batman's cape off? I'd like him to go with my MOTU Masterverse figures, but don't love the cape.

Mr. Freeze is a must have and that's probably the only one I'll get out of the whole wave. As far as Batman is concerned, he's cool but you can get a figure that's just as good with the Return of Bruce Wayne caveman Batman.

Only negatives is the packaging. The clamshell packaging sucks and is not resealable. Also I wish they could of made a 4 issue story instead of one issue comic. The comic cool but just introduction with Mreeze when fight scene Batman wins end
I know I'm quite a bit late with My comment... But, Again, thanks to this review, I finally got my wave... And "oh My gHush"!" It's THE BEST page punchers stuff uncle Tom has released so far (in My opinion).
Unfortunately, that stupid Bat Girl that I want, goes above $100!).
How unfortunate that Todd's crew (the ones with the reaponsability of taking care of their clients)... does not follow this reviews...

@ToyShiz well first the story starts in 1876. (Did freeze time travel?) And just looking at the attire of Batgirl. It just reminds me of tribal wear and native culture. The weapons. The thread they use. Just an observation.

I never got the appeal of the clamshell packaging. It's NOT user friendly, and whenever you try to open it, most times you'll hurt yoouself with the borders of the plastic.
Mister Freeze has NO thighs. It's ridiculous, there's a very small conexion between his crotch and his knees, but no thighs.
The heroes look good for what they are, but Mister Freeze's legs make him a disappointment.
What you want em to do, flips?
and yes, the clam shell packaging is a death trap for your hands
I hope they make more characters like this I have the Batman and Batgirl so far, I would love to see the Joker done in this style
That's plaited hair - braids is a black thing that, granted, has become an Americanism for 'plaits' - but it's just wrong.
h yes, a non-White Batfam and a Scooby-Doo Mr Freeze. Hard pass.
