It’s one of my favourite summer fragrances along with Versace eau fraiche, idk why he would say no!
An absolute beast of a fragrance. It took me a while to appreciate it, but it's purely addictive. Performance is top-notch.

Gotta agree with Mr. Hughes on this one. There is something in it that doesn't quite sit right. It's like a musical note that is being played off-key. Great review as always!
If you haven’t try the original le beau edt. Blended much better and doesn’t have that “off-key” note you’re describing.

Feel the same way, it’s the pineapple in my case, I just can’t stand this note, so I still prefer original Le Beau

It was weird. I didn’t agree with the pineapple/coconut. But women LOVE it.

You should review 'Bois Imperial', it is my favorite fragrance, absolutely insane. Much better than Ganymede.
I had a sample of this and the original but was given opportunity to buy the paradise garden flanker a month ago and really happy with it.
Both Paradise Garden and Le Beau Le Parfum are excellent. I have both. They aren't redundant.
I really like the EDT, but this Parfum is just too sweet, even though I in general like sweet scents. 👍😞😭😭

6:50 Glad you did this review. It's not for everyone... and less is definitely more*. 1 shot on my arm and was sniffing along to learn what you're picking up. I couldn't pinpoint certain aspects until you noted it. After "picking up what you're laying down" I'm with you on the peppermint, etc. It's a very soft, sugary, suntan lotion fluffiness... but it gets better on the long-term drydown.
*That 1 spray I did on my forearm is hardcore projecting. I've been hitting myself with 10 shots when I wore it this past summer. Won't be doing THAT anymore. Poor people around me! This is a "3 spray for the day".

100% agree. I wanted to love it. There's a lot about it that I like, but there's that off putting quality to it and ruins it for me. Maybe they will reformulate it later.
"something a little off" is how I would describe my experience with Le Beau EDT. It was nice, a little citrusy, a little coconutty, a little sweet, but something was sort of "off", like a little sour or chemically, about it the whole time.
I was hoping that the Le Parfum would address this but it sounds like it's still present which is unfortunate. Will probably try it out anyways- BUT- your review is appreciated as always. For a sweet, clean perfume I've already really got 1 Million Royal, which I really actually quite like. If I want a sort of coconutty, slightly fruity perfume I've got Cloud from Ariana Grande. Doesn't slot into my collection specifically but I'm sure it's great because it wouldn't be so popular otherwise haha

Love it. I am curious to know, how do you get your fragrances to all be of such high quality and make them all smell different? Because oud has an entirely different fragrance all together. It is. Not a flanker by any means.

It’s ok I’ve had this one for a few years since I came out. The hype was real when it dropped and was only available in Europe now it’s widely available, only had the 75ml cause that’s all I could get but it’s a creamy coconut iris fragrance with woods in the dry down more for night out wearings

I have the EDT. Other reviewers have said the same thing about the EDP, that there is something off putting in the EDP. I’d be curious how you compare the two. I love the EDT. Juicy fruity and fresh. Nothing off putting.

I wasn't convinced personally after I blindly bought it but the effect on women has been objectively positive, at least for me.

Are planning on doing review of Mr Maritime by Atrium Fragrance? It is a bit similar to Le Beau Le Parfum, it is also tropical, fresh and sweet scent.

Out of all the big and popular houses, JPG is perhaps the one I dislike the most. I haven't found one single male fragrance of theirs that I like. They either seem disjointed and awkward and/or straight up disgusting for me. I've tried like 5-6 Le Males and 2 Scandals, I had to scrub off all the Le Males, and I couldn't wait for the Scandals to wear off. This house is just not for me, I guess.
The second is YSL, their most popular scents are just incredibly boring, soulless to my nose. Kouros is 🔥🔥🔥 though!

The best JPG fragrance is Fleur du Male, made by Francis Kurkdjian. Too bad it's discontinued.

I personally LoVe JPG but Le Beau does not vibe with me unfortunately. New Le Beau 💚 Essence of Garden is much better in my humble opinion. My favourite JPG will always be Le Male Le Parfum or Le Male Essence of Parfume ♂️

How can "I really dont like it" and "im going to scrub it off" become a 7? Makes no sense to me tbh. A shitty smelling fragrance is still bad even tho its decently priced.

I think, given he's a perfumer, he largely analyzes the technicality of how the fragrance is constructed. He can love that aspect of a fragrance yet dislike the actual fragrance itself.
It's like looking at a moderately priced Porsche and admitting it's a really nice car for the price yet in the same breath saying I would never buy one bc it's styling is not my cup of tea... I'd personally pick an R8 over an 911, but that doesn't mean the latter isn't an awesome car. Makes total sense IMO.
@@poncholeichon Sure and I think that its interesting to hear his thoughts on the construction of the frag etc. But isnt the smell of a fragrance kind of its essence? I still think 7 is way to high based on what his thoughts were on it.
@@puttem8 That's fair. I think it all comes down to semantics and what each of us prioritize in a review. Going back to me 911 analogy... I'd argue the styling of the car is straight fugly, easily a 5/10. From the standpoint of it being an pure car, it's pretty great (a 9/10). My brain tells me this fugly car reasonably deserves a 7/10 rating, even though I couldn't imagine myself wanting to own one. Idk... Maybe just a me thing. 🤷🏻
The edt is better. The le parfum is trash.

i’m glad you spoke honestly here. i blind-bought a full bottle and liked it the first wear, but the next three i decided there was just something i couldn’t put my finger on that made it honestly kind of gross to wear. i ended up selling the bottle because i couldn’t get over that one weird note. not a bad fragrance, probably just not right with my chemistry

I bought this one last spring last year. I enjoyed wearing it for a while but it feels too youthful for me. Performance is nuclear ☢️ and it has a unique scent profile. If you are over 40 it may not fit.

Quentin Bisch is so hyped nowadays, but I have honestly disliked most his stuff I have tried. Seems to really appeal to those young guys who want BEAST MODE! projection and performance. But to me they are just tacky and over the top. I absolutely hate sitting in a train or elevator next to someone who is wearing like ten sprays of this.
Colognes are made for men for women to like, not for men to like. Great review!!

Just got it 3 days ago, the dry down is to die for imo.
You will not really smell it on yourself that much (your nose will get used to it really quick) but other people will, i already got complimented on it at my workplace.

Welp I just learned about calone, your description of the smell pretty much explained why I hate most 'blue' fragrances and don't love this. It's also so unrelentingly strong. Le beau le parfum was stuck on my skin for 4 days and 6 showers when I tested it. Seriously not for me.
I want to see the return of older style fougeres slightly modernized. THAT is what I want when it's not cold.
