Friendly advice... Refrain from buying cheese in the supermarkets, cause they are not the best tasting ones, unfortunately, most of them taste like salty cottage cheese (and the texture is also off)... Usually, we buy it either in the bazaar or in "family shops" rather than chain stores...

Struck something similar tblisi,apartment I booked online gone had another nearby,bit suspect all round,no driver to pick us up as requested

I do think everyone should work as a waiter/waitress at some point in their lives, like a kind of National service. I spent years working in hotels and restaurants and based on my experiences would never ever complain like that in a public setting. Kindness and respect costs nothing and you’re more likely to get better service if you’re nice to the people serving you who are usually on a very low wage. It’s horrible to witness that kind of rudeness and so heartbreaking that the waitress you saw was offering to compensate out of her own pocket.
I agree with you. I just don't get it though, I really don't.
I witnessed on so many occasions how people are being unreasonable and rude to those working as waiters/waitresses and hospitality in general.
Everyone should be treated equally with kindness and respect.

Hi Matt and Julia. I highly recommend that you contact Airbnb about the issues with your host. The host sounds very shady, and that is not acceptable by Airbnb standards. I hope things get better, although it seems like you both take everything instride. We're in Antalya, now. Today, we're going to try to get a bus card, since our Airbnb is a little far from Beaches, Old Town, and the mall. I wish they had Yandex or Bolt, here. Take Care. Oh, by the way, the curfew has been extended in Georgia, until 11:00 pm.

@@MattandJulia We are here in Antalya, for 2 months. We were finally able to get our bus cards, so getting around should be easier. We also just read that the land borders are now open, We could have gone to Armenia if we had just waited a week. Oh well. I think we are where we are supposed to be. I can't wait to hear more about your adventures in Georgia. When we get back, we'll do some more traveling, there. Georgia really feels like home.

You can visit Tbilisi speaking English and take tours from there but outside Tbilisi there aren't many people that know English x

That poor waitress 😓 I have a feeling that woman screening at her was probably American. I've been working in the food and beverage industry here in the U.S. for 16 years and sadly this country is home to the most entitled people on the planet 🤦🏽♀️
It was really uncomfortable 😞 she was actually South African 😊 I often worry when I hear people shouting in English that they are Brits too, you often feel responsible yourself when you hear your compatriots causing a scene. Hope you haven't had to suffer too much of people's wrath over the years! ❤️
