I like the longer teachy rambling video. I was your first opponent. When we played the other night, I was excited to see your name as I was already a subscriber and was hoping I'd make the edit. I loved hearing the commentary as it was a tough match for me and I also thought it was a very interesting and thoughtful match up. Well played. When you hit your second Bandit's Talent...oh my is not what I said...it was more like...oh shit.
Sorry for the weird spread of games/hope you like mono black discard mirrors, they took most of my recording time. Also weird win rate on this deck, or like it was ~70% in plat & waaaay closer to 50% in diamond, so y'know, tinker with it and etc, idk if it's just a pubstomping list but I will basically take any chance I can get to shout out that Sam Black article. Also still no good big news re: my massive incoming rent increase so uh, patreon's cool huh.
Also, the mirror happens because so many people are playing discard. I have seen a lot of people scoop to baloth on 1 from hopeless nightmare, but adding it in the discard deck seems very bad. Like mono green, sure easy add, but not the discard deck.
That was really interesting re: big game small game. I tried this deck out and had a great time playing it. I added an Aclazotz which really came in handy a few times, especially against other discard decks due to its recursion.
This has to be my least favourite match up on arena. I usually scoop out of boredom because it's a very slow wincon of both sides basically doing nothing. Usually you can win 2 other games in the time it takes to lose to mono black discard.
Ran the deck, far from decimating... One card win condition and end up with a flooded with discard abilities, but no cards for an opponent to discard or damage to be dealt.
@@juancarlos-yt7dr If i played any green decks I would. I have beaten a bunch of discard decks, but its honestly such a pain to play, or against. Its an energy vampire deck lol

Glad to see someone else saying what I was thinking about Fell

Love the theory/game design discussion!
Games against this aren't played, they're suffered through.

This deck is rampant in standard ranked. Very obnoxious.
Flavor of the month

I added one copy of Aclazotz and used Insatiable Avarice to find it. Gives the deck something else going on.
Discard is not fun to play imo. Over 50% of standard is running similar decks.
@@charlieh1197 I’d say it can be fun to play as you torture your opponent lol but it is absolutely the worst to play against for sure.
@@jakor89 I just auto quit against it now. Not worth my time lol
@@charlieh1197 x4 of obstinate Baloth on the side deck, nothing feels better than casting a 4/4 on turn 0 or 1 for free

Nice deck. The match making is soooo bad, how do you play a mirror match first match.... So annoying
