My OBS only opens minimized & when I hover over it with my mouse I can see that it's open on my taskbar, but it will not open in full screen. I need help with this issue if possible please
It´s caused by the display driver how to fix 👇 1. press Windows + X and open device manager 2. go to display adaptors, right click on your GPU --> Properties 3. go to drivers and click on "Roll Back Driver" afterwards it will automatically install an old driver. now open obs, it should work now, even without restarting your system. When it´s fixed you can try to update your GPU driver once again.
Hi i got a feeling the gpu driver is causing the issue with mine as i did have a gpu update yesterday, But when i go to roll back driver, It's not highlighted and i cannot click on it? any suggestions?
@@The_Nookiebear it´s because win 10 got no previous driver to rollback, try to uninstall the device and install an older gpu version. You´ll find old driver on nvidia website itself etc.
@@Swagger1337 im on windows 11 bro but i did install the previous driver but no luck, i tried everything tbh i gave up and installed obs labs instead that seems to be working fine.
it doesnt even open. i guess im screwed because it opens the window and then closes it before i can even do anything. i have no choice but to restart my f""king computer for the 5th time.
it doesnt even show me an error. it literally opens obs and its impossible to close it because the f""king window disappears but is somehow still there even though its not?
@@Axuiog Might have, but im not going to bother reinstalling OBS again. What if the solution i learned 9 months ago still wont work? I really dont want to feel that level of frustration again.
@@wariofan-wq6fr hey brother all I did was redownload it and run it in administration. No problems whats so ever. Make sure you save your scenes so when you redownload it you don’t lose anything. There should be an option to keep it
I have this problem if I run OBS with admin privileges. Normal privileges it runs fine. At admin, it hangs Explorer with a hourglass cursor indefinitely.

as soon as i updated to newest version, obs wont work......i hesitated and shoulda just kept what was working, none of these common fixes worked

in my pc obs tudio is not shwoing in graphics settings please reply
reinstall wasn't enough. there is an add-on toolset that wanted to be updated; that fixed it, but now i have to start over with my settings.
I tried everything, what worked for me was using compatibility mode for windows 8.

I discovered that if you uninstall and then download and install the 32-bit version (not 64-bit), it works.

how??? my PC is a windows 7 and it says I already have a driver(Intel(7) HD Graphics Family) but for some reason I still can't open it. :(
