Wow! When their ancestors left israel centuries ago, to settle here, they would have never imagined a day when their descendents would come back from across the world to honour their coming and stay in India.
There will be always special place for Isreal in Indian hearts long long ago when Jews came over to India they knew long before it will be always welcome as their home we love you from our hearts
There was a thriving Jewish trading community called "Anchuvannam" in Kollam during the 9th century CE. This is mentioned in the Tharissappally copper plates of 849 CE given by the Venad king to the west Asian migrant christian community of 823 CE called "Nasranies". There is a need to unearth other historical evidences about this Kollam jewish community just like the Kochi and Chendamangalam jews ! Hope the Israeli embassy in India as well as the Israeli govt. at Jerusalem will do something about it.
Jews have been living around the Malabar Coast for over 3,000+ years.. Many of the Jews of the past have been absorbed into the local Christian communities.. The Jews whom Apostle Thomas preached around the Periyar river Jewish settlements have been the founding population of Christianity in India, which is today referred to as the Syrian Christians..
@@kingknights5107 St. Thomas never came to Kerala coast. It is a lie started by the western missionaries. He may have come to the region beyond the river Sindhu or Indus boardering Persian Empire which was called India those days. This region was ruled by one Gondophores as mentioned in the apocrphal book Acta Thoma. So Thomas may be called the apostle of India if that story can be called true. Defintely he has not come to the Southwestern part of the Indian Sub-continent. It is lie ! The earliest christians of Kerala were the off-spings of the spice merchants who came from west Asia and married the local women.
But Muslims now don’t respect Jewish history and contributions are seeking to erase it. Muslims in the whole island of Kochi like the Jews only for the tourist money they reap in. On Tripadviser Paradesi Synogogue and JewTown rate as the 2nd and 3rd best things to do in all of Kochi. Matancherry (encompassing the area of Jewtown) is first
Beautiful Kerala....❤

@@arjunraj823what is this guy trying to say?
He might be a jihadi muslim trying to scare the jewish tourists. NIA should try to trace this person and book him.
The streets shown in the video really says that India is a place filled with sumps and underdeveloped.
