Great points! Both Roseville and Folsom have their unique perks, but I can see why Folsom would take the lead with its traffic situation. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Great video One thing to add- you can’t talk about Folsom without talking about its 60+ mile network of bike trails. From dog walking to bikes to e-bikes, we are on those trails every day. Some of the others have good bike trails- they’re not close to as integrated into the town as ours is. It’s a big part of the culture.
Thanks for the great addition! Folsom's bike trails really do play a significant role in the community. It's awesome to see how active and integrated they are in daily life!
@ Yeah- I wasn’t that into cycling before. Now it’s a big part of our quality of life. And that 60 something miles doesn’t include the Jedediah-Smith trail that loops lake Natomas and follows the American River all the way to Old Sacramento and beyond without ever being on a road. Great views of the water and forest the whole way. Love it. Walking or riding, it’s a big deal how ingrained in nature the communities are.
It's awesome to hear how cycling has transformed your quality of life! The Jedediah-Smith trail sounds like a fantastic way to connect with nature while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
I live in Folsom now, but I liked living in Roseville near the Galleria Mall. I lived there for one year before moving to Folsom from the Bay. I can easily see buying into certain parts of Rocklin, but PG&E is a huge deterrent compared to Elk Grove.
Thanks for sharing your experience! Each suburb has its own charm, and it’s great to hear you’ve explored different areas. Rocklin does have some nice spots, but I totally understand your concerns about PG&E.
Hopefully, you guys enjoy the video. Which suburb is your number 1?
We’ve been in West Sac since 2007 but are building in Rescue. Yeah, it’s country but it’s peaceful and the views are amazing.
For overall lifestyle and location Roseville and Folsom are neck and neck for me! But considering traffic Folsom is my #1💥

Looking at Roseville! From south California.
Roseville is a fantastic choice! It's known for its great schools and family-friendly atmosphere. You'll love it!
