Oh my gosh, you inspired me so much bc here I love Prince of Persia and I think now I'm going to have to work on a Prince of Persia 2 :Warrior Within build, also what might be even more cool is a Prince of Persia 4 team up build with the prince as a Marshall Gish and Elika As a full caster build. Holy cow, somebody also needs to homebrew the dahaka as a Homebrew monster for 5E. Nice work this time, love the video!!
Good call on Monk with wall running & a great concept. My take, Monk with at least 6 levels in Artificer solely for Boots of the Winding Path for that rewind feature teleport to a space within 15-ft you can see you occupied before in the turn. I'd gone 12 Kensei Monk/6 Alchemist Artificer/2 Fighter. Defensive Duelist + Dual Wielder + ASI for DEX. Weapon Mastery Dagger & Scimitar. Origin Feats: Lucky & Alert.
If you want to play a Prince of Persia-type with "time powers" character, I'd look strongly at a Dex-based Fighter/Divination Wizard combo. First off, the Portent feature will grant the player a "glimpse of the future." A 5th level wizard could have appropriate spells like: True Strike, Light, Feather Fall, Jump, Longstrider, Shield, Misty Step, Hold Person, Magic Weapon, Haste, and Slow. I'd go Variant Human with the Lucky Feat. Ability scores could be the standard array. Str: 10 Dex: 16 Con: 14 Int: 14 Wis: 12 Cha 8 I feel that these scores would be more appropriate. The Prince should be smart, considering that in the game, he has to solve puzzles, while he isn't very likable (he comes off as arrogant in the start of the game, hence charisma could be a dump stat). As for the spellbook, just say it is an "instruction manual" for the Dagger of Time.
I love the spell book as an instruction manual, that’s very clever! And true I did overlook the puzzle solving aspect of the game. That makes sense to me that the character should have. A good intelligence to reflect that.
thank you so much

Thank you, I’m glad you liked the video! Sounds like you’ve got a couple fun builds to play around with, I’m sure they’ll end up being pretty cool!

That’s a great concept as well! Boots of the Winding path would be pretty perfect for the exact mechanic.

A royal missed opportunity that could have been Prince of Cyclops
