I grew up on WB and UPN, watching both their launch nights and I watched WB’s final night. It was sad to see the WB go but they went out so beautifully with the Night of Farewells. Plus, it was exciting to see a new era of TV and to see the WB and UPN merge was poetic as they had a lot of similarities and seen as the “other networks”.

I guess I'll be the first one to mention it: its too bad that out of all of these shows "promised", "Everwood" didn't make the cut while all the others did. They renewed "7th Heaven" for an 11th season last minute instead, and it bit them on the @$$ because its ratings were in the toilet after it had already aired its "series finale". "Everwood" had only been on four seasons and could have gone at least a couple more. What a mistake.
Cancelling EVERWOOD = HUGE MISTAKE!! The CW Network should’ve kept EVERWOOD and let 7th Heaven bow out gracefully as it’s now defrocked “Star” Stephen Collins got caught with his Robes Down in a SEX SCANDAL with several minors no less.

@Facus sparkle It should have been Everwood. They could done one more season with 11 more episodes filmed to make a total of 100 and concluded the series as that.
As far as we are concerned, both networks did even better combined than they ever did apart. The CW is the "Tuvix" of broadcast networks, if you get the Star Trek reference...
2:49 it's funny that One Tree Hill is showing a clip of Lucas and Brooke kissing but the time the 4th season premiered on The CW on September 27th, 2006, they already broken up 💔.
To be honest The CW isnt that bad, it's not as good as UPN or The WB but it's not horrible or anything. Its certainly better than its quote on quote "rival" MyNetworkTV
When I was watching Sullivan's Crossing I thought I had recognized Scott Patterson, Harry "Sully" Sullivan, from somewhere. :) He played Luke Danes on Gilmore Girls. :)
