Dude! Awesome lens and some great shots. Is this a good first Sony Alpha lens for street photography or is the zoom a bit restrictive?
Thanks for watching! Good question. I think I had a lot more confidence with the 85mm. When using the 70-200 I feel people see it and think "that is a zoom lens" whereas I felt more confident using the 85mm was more discreet and at 1.4 it makes everything super dreamy. The other lens to think about is the 135 but I personally would only use that for street, but I could use the 85mm for cars and portraits as well as street. At the end of the day get what you will be most comfortable with. For me, street is the 85mm now i've used it.

Yeah I was always a wide guy when I started, and I shot everything on 14mm or 35mm so after 5 years I have finally got my hands on this! Big up for stopping by! 🙏🏼
I’d love to try two other GMs 24 and 35! Have the 24-70 2.8. However a 1.4 f stop is a dreamy place to be
