Hey Mike great video! I’m about to purchase a Sony aIV which lens would you recommend i grab first? I mostly shoot family photos, vlog a little, and shoot some outdoor fishing videos. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Hey thanks for stopping by! Hmm ok so the 16-35 2.8 is great for vlogging and has a nice wide angle for you to talk into as you vlog but can also zoom in to 35. The other option if you aren't shooting at night much is to get the 20-70 f4 which is smalller and cheaper! Or (last one i promise) the 24-70 2.8 is also great but I find 24mm hard to vlog with. Any more questions let me know!
Hahaha at first I was shy about doing this but after a number of shoots i think i'm finally gaining confidence! The main thing is to at least act like you know what you are doing 😂
Silent shooting ruins the image tho, and the bokeh. Please advise the pros and cons of silent shooting, because you might have others thinking its just a flick of a switch with no conpromise to their images and then bam, all screwed. Shots are great tho, just imagine them at its fullest quality 🤷🏻
& it’s out! this was super fun to both watch & edit!🎥 THIS LENS IS DOPE🔥🤌
My guy's back on the UA-cam grind!
Trying my best broooo
Loved how you managed to get so many good shots in your session.
Great Vid Mike, some great shots 👌 the 50mm 1.8 is next on my lens list for my a6000
Thanks so much for the support! Glad you like it, that is a great lens for the price !

Great video! For this do you a mode on the camera or do you configure the settings for every shot?
hey, what kind of filter did you use on the lens for this shooting (if any)? thanks!
You forgot to mention about 50mm 1.8 (£169) what do you choose now ??
😂😀😂.
Nice video, well done Mike. 🎉
The 55mm is also a great lens! Very different build and glass quality but a great lens to throw into the mix for something around that focal length
@@m.visuals yesss, true 🚀
55mm from zeiss is a great lens !
Am I the only one singular female voice in the mic at the 7:41 mark in the vid?? great shots btw!
62mm ?
Do people ever look at you like you're crazy? Just some guy on the street talking to himself and taking pictures lol I'd be too shy to do this.

I prefer 50mm 1.2 because it has the motors which means faster focusing with my a1. I take 30 fps so I don’t miss a moment

For something like this in those conditions it won't make a difference. Appreciate the kind words, glad you like them!
