      You know he has it insured for Millions through Loyds ... and Broke the bridge a few years ago?
      .. .. .. had it repaired and says "Plays better than ever"
      ... there's more than "Just a Piece" of that man's soul it that thing.
      I'm actually going to see GnR this year.

    Eric grew up in Carbon Hill Alabama. I moved from San Diego to Smith Lake Alabama in 1987. Met him b4 ALL of this. Very friendly but most Alabamians are.
    He sold Boiled peanuts roadside I'm told by his friends he grew up with. I started a kickass rock band with some amazing local musicians.
    Wanted to give SOUTHERN ROOTS a shout out peace

    I think, that this was the last real Guns n` Roses song ever written. The intro to the solo is one of the most beautiful Rock n` Roll solo intro ever.

    This was the first lineup of Snakepit, with Eric Dover. Dover has an amazing voice. In the second lineup Slash hired Rod Jackson, who is really good, but Dover is absolutely incredible. Very underrated rock legend. He was awesome as the guitarist of Jellyfish too. This band was really something great. Slash has had an astonishing career. Greatest modern rock artist.

    The truths is, during those times,80's down to mid 90's voices and talents like what Eric has is just around the corner. He kinda sound like Jon corabi actually. That's why music back then was cool. Today? All we get now in Rock is young people screaming and growling and bands doing breakdowns and blast beats then repeat. So sad. No more real powerful singing and soaring guitar solos.

    ...SONG OF THE DAY!!!
    SLASH'S SNAKEPIT - BEGGARS & HANGERS ON (1995)

    Man, this song is a gem of hard rock. The two guitars fit together so well (Gilby and Slash), and the matt sorum drums and mike inez bass give this ballad incredible strength. And Eric is the ultimate hard rock vocalist, unfortunately poorly recognized, the ups and downs and all sorts of changes he uses in this song make it memorable. Acoustic versions of this song by Eric and Slash confirm that Dover is an excellent vocalist.

  • @reelTruth112
    @reelTruth112 11 років тому +1

    hey Axl...THIS is what GnR should of grown into...that group of cover artists you tour with now will NEVER have the soul Slash & Izzy brought to GnR...if anybody wants to know what GnR would of sounded like had Axl not had a case of LSD (lead singer's disease), pick up any snakepit, velvet revolver, or slash's solo records....Axl sucks and he's the only one who hasn't noticed yet...by the way, nice gut Axl!!!
