  • In today's episode we begin the EPIC journey of how we are going to coyote swap our 1969 Mustang fastback! It's going to be an awesome build and one heck of a challenge. I hope we don't upset too many purists out there but then again, who cares. This car is going to be insane and I can't wait for you guys to see our progress.
In this episode we are starting out by removing the entire front end and beginning to start fabricating our new custom front frame rails. Hopefully in the next few episodes we can start building out the chassis!
Stay tuned for the next video being uploaded next week. We will be unveiling the new build that we will be building in tandem with this one. If you guys thought the 69 was going to be a challenge, just you wait :)

I’m sure you have already thought about it but if not you would come out so much cheaper but gutting the 69 and do a body swap over a newer mustang chassis. Just cut everything off the newer mustang and weld the 69 on it. A lot cheaper that way and everything is modern. Good luck with your build

Man we REALLY thought about doing that, we are building a wrecked 2016 mustang right now and it was so tempting. In the end I decided I wanted the 69 to be modernized but I still wanted it to be a 1969 fastback, not a 2016 with a cool body. Maybe one day though we will do a build like that!

No on the old body newer chassis. Always ends up a hacked up mess. Nothing cheap about it.

Sparks will ruin that glass. Beware if it's salvageable glass.
