Glowing screens suck. Best upgrades for your XJ are to rebuild your clapped suspension to stock spec get a proper alignment done once you aint sagged an inch and then get a good set of tires.

Any idea how I can get a double DIN in a 96 xj? Been trying to do some research but I'm having a hard time finding the necessary housing that would fit my panel

I hate to say it sometimes learning the hard way is still learning… I would always prime the oil pump with a drill or disable the ignition coil, crank the engine until you see pressure on your Gauge before ever letting the engine fire.

'you got comedian in the making in ya! bro!... the joke is old but your delivery is close to perfect!... knocking like a Jehova's witness?! had me,,, but seriously am sure you know this is not meant as a permanent fix? sometimes the engine headers/lifters/rocking arms O rings need to be replaced! now in your car it makes perfect sense to do so for who are we kidding! it a freaking Muscle car and a good one at that.... but sometimes people can not afford nor they care to do so? and instead are looking for a temporary fix before getting rid of it... that's what this products are all about a temporary fix...

From first start I could tell something is wrong.... either timing was off and lack of oil pressure. A leak vaccum would cause car to idle fast not stutter and struggle ..thats lack of lubrication or misfiring/wrong order.. I am curious if the bearing clearance was good enough

That hurt to watch, man. I struggled pulling an 87 samurai 1.3 liter and installing a remanufactured long block. I can't imagine the skill required to build a car from the ground up. I hope the last two years have been good to you and you have that car on the road. You deserve it.

Hey bro, I’m definitely not a mechanic but I definitely know they deserve every dime they get, it’s not easy to do minor stuff, I couldn’t imagine building an engine, what sucks it you can definitely tell you put a lot of effort and care into ur build, it just goes that way sometimes man no matter what we do. Hey Bru I did my Mercedes V6 c240 I didn't like the idling its having some kind of rattle and poor adling I Don no if it my exhaust which were leaking even though I didn't run it for some time coz the crank shaft seal was leaking so I had to stop and now I bought the seal I'm gona put it tomorrow start and see wht will happen after some minute myb 20 or 40 minutes thts hurts Bru but Don quit atleast u know somwere somwere it was wrong the second time u will still do the right thing I feel for you and I'm afraid now to start mine
