because of the wonky thrust configuration, thrust will produce nose-down moment; ALL the time. the elevator can be trimmed to compensate for that moment. but that trim will be a continual source of 'extra' drag.

the distance between the main wing and stabs should be roughly equal to Two wing chord lengths.
ideally, the cg should be located at Thirty percent of chord. the main spar should ALSO be located at thirty percent of chord.
