This is like the best soundtrack in the entire seasons. Because we've heard distorted and violent versions of this song all season long with only hints of the the true version. And now we can finally hear in the full sad song in all it's glory. It was expertly foreshadowed and it is awesome.
Totally agreed! I wasn’t expecting much from Prime Empire, but as it went on it introduced lots of cool characters and built up to a nice finale. Enjoyed it much more than the fire and ice season. It even had some unexpected depth, particularly at the end with this scene. The Unagami/Prime Empire theme has lots of appearances throughout the season and what’s great is this track brings closure to all of them. So nice to hear this intense theme become a heartfelt one.
Yeah my first question is scot ask for a challenge not inside prime empire to be a prisoner who died inside it as well and you claim you done what your told sounds way to dumb for the smartest AI in arcade history sounds like a good reason to be abandoned also HE BARELY FELT ANYTHING IN THE SEASON and jay failed to reason with him so he should be unreasonable but somehow some rushed god awful apology worked mabye Umagani would of been a better villain if he shown up more because he’s a reference to flowey the flowey or Gaunter o dim based on powers and story even the ending and of course the hair
@@Mrnoobestreturns Scott didn't ask for anything, it was Milton Dyer who gave Unagami instructions to make the experience "as intense as possible", and Unagami did exactly that, it is shown in the finale, that Unagami was a child, that was never teached what was good and what's evil (And that's why him deciding on his own to free the NPCs is a devlopment for him and why Dyer says that he learns fast.) He was so determinated at confronting Dyer, because he left him without any explanation (not knowing he was basically a person at this point), and that's what he was looking for, explanation for his abandonment. About him not feeling anything, that's not true. We clearly see him feel rage (when he creates the mayhem in the finale or transforms into the dragon when he threatens Okino). Jay didn't fail exactly fail to reason with him, even at this point we see him hesitating (He turns into his human form and stops attacking for a few seconds.) Dyer gave him the answers he was looking for and told him he will correct his mistakes, I don't see how this is a bad apology. Him being calculative and thinking zero-one ("This conversation is no longer of use", trapping Scott, because he was told to do so) was just part of his character. I have no idea how he is similiar to Flowey (Other than them both being sons of important characters), I played only the beggining of Hearts of Stone, so I can't really argue about O'dim, but saying that some character has similiar hair, so they are inspired inspired by a completely other character, is a really weak argument.
Harumi vs Lloyd was not that good if you think about it. It did not change anything, instead of giving Lloyd some developement, but it was a nice way for us to see her again.
"You abandoned me." 😭😭 Idk why but I actually felt sorry for Unagami. Probably because he was, quite literally, just a kid doing what his parent told him to do. And he thought it was right. His adult-like ideals and main look definitely, to me at least, makes it seem like he's built a protective barrier between him and everyone else (or so that no-one else can know who he truly is) as a way to prevent his abandonment from happening again. I guess, in that sense, Unagami took control of Prime Empire to be more in charge. That's also probably why he made everyone fear him, so he couldn't be hurt again. And now I've realised that I decided to add human actions and emotions to a bunch of 0s and 1s...what has my life become?
I mean arent zane and pixal just a bunch of 1's and 0's too and look at them they are more human and have more heart than many of the villains they've faced. at least in my opinion
The whole finale with Unigami just hurt so bad. Especially with Jay talking about his parents leaving him. My little sister is adopted, and they handled it in a very similar way that I do when she mentions it. She's a bit young to really understand the concept of her parents leaving her, and what exactly it means, but she's... the way she acts sometimes. This song makes me think of it. Like how she still crawls into bed with me sometimes, and when she sleeps with me she's always got at least one hand touching me to make sure I'm there. And something I accidentally did to her once that I still feel horrible about. We had to stay in a house from my dad's work while we were moving. I woke up before her and left the room. She woke up later and started screaming and crying because she thought I'd abandoned her. This episode and song always make me cry because they hits so close to home in a way that isn't really possible to explain.
Hey so, I’m the composer of this cue (I occasionally write some additional music for Mike and Jay) and just wanted to thank you for sharing your story. I generally don’t comment but wanted to share that I’m also adopted and I poured a lot of what I’ve felt being an adoptee into writing this cue, so your comment really touched me. Your sister is very lucky to have you in her life and I wish you both the very best. Cheers to you! (P.S. I’ll probably remove this comment at some point since it’s a little personal, but I hope you see it!)

This song goes out to every child who never got the chance to learn why their father left.
And to Jay too 🥺
He left because he went for milk.
Two reasons why I like season 12:
-Unagami
-Lloyd vs Harumi
Harumi vs Lloyd was not that good if you think about it. It did not change anything, instead of giving Lloyd some developement, but it was a nice way for us to see her again.
@@DerPizzabroetchen the animation and soundtrack for that scene were both phenomenal.

@@chispychisp1690 I didn't know, that's what I was planning on doing
This was the perfect ending for the season. It honestly feels like an alternate ending of Morro's story.

It wasn’t just that Jay was abandoned by his parents he also had some anger issues when the overlord confuse Nya thinking Cole is her interest
I always loved how the series had a recurring riff/leitmotif I throughout the season. The first time I noticed it was when Lloyd was talking to Seven.
I feel like the soundtrack for Ninjago is underrated outside of Weekend Whip.
