  • Hey guys! So this is a video I have been wanting to make for some time now, and I have finally figured it all out and found the time to get this recorded. This 3D style of lettering mixed with the right textures can create a hyper-realistic 3D brush stroke, or at least looks as such. It reminds me more of acrylic paints, if you're not sure what they are, just google it and you will see what I mean. As I mention in the tutorial, a lot of this is just trail and improvement, there is a lot of tweaking to get the desired result, but that's the fun of this process, the results are endless. I really look forward to seeing what you guys can put together using this new tutorial, it should be fun to see. Make sure you tag me on social media if you do use this tutorial as I would love to see what you come up with!
    Anyway, I hope this tutorial has helped some of you guys out and allowed you to further your design skills, take it easy!

    Hey. I really love this tutorial. I am new to Cinema 4D. I was wondering if you could do this process in Cinema 4D Lite through After Effects or do you have to buy the program to get the same results?

    To put in the same doc, just use the File>Merge and you are good to go

    it is not render png transprent please help ?

  • @ameet21
    @ameet21 6 років тому

    Try to render with Background since you have Greyscale gorilla studio
    and They provide beautiful HDRI rig. if you add little blurry reflection on that texture and Play with HDRI output will look very realistic.
    play with global illumination Standard or Physical render.

    Can you animate the rotation/unravelling/twisting? How so? 8:51

    is C4D absolutely necessary to make these? I don't really wanna spend $2k on a program just to make these strokes lol. could you make it in any similar 3d software if your goal to just keep it as a still image as the final product?

    Uh when I try to un-overlap the characters, I see a ton of individual points which I have to select each to move a character. How can I stop that?

    for some reason my geometry just doesn't cover the length of the whole spline... the spline itself is the same complexity as in this example. does anyone know why? like even if I take a regular circle spline it only covers 75 % of it

    I have Cinema 4D light and it does not have spline. I got all of the way there to find out it wont work :( Great tutorial though.

  • @RaagRaisinghani
    @RaagRaisinghani 3 роки тому

    For some reason it abruptly starts from the middle of the spline for me - Anyone else facing this issue? I'd like it to cover the whole spline like in the tutorial but after the middle point it suddenly cuts off like that's the phase of the landscape or something?

    The only part that could be considered as your tutorial is the first one, when you make the &. The rest of the video is just a copy of what Berd did a year or so ago

    • @SteBradburyDesign
      @SteBradburyDesign  6 років тому +22

      Okay so by that logic, every person who has ever made a pen tool tutorial is copying off the first person to ever make a tutorial on it... yeah, you see how that doesn't quite work... Also, I have no idea who "Berd" is.
