I remember watching Love is blind and telling myself, in a world full of Carltons, find yourself a Cameron. I'm not usually the type to watch all these fake reality shows, but for some reason, I watched it. Love is blind opened my heart to love again. As a single mother of 2, I revisited my list and started manifesting with intent the type of husband I wanted in my life…. With optimism, a clean heart, and a good soul, everything is possible! In September 2020, I met my soul mate, my life partner online. I’m Canadian, and he is American, and today we are married and expecting our first child together in December 2022. What a journey! Thank you, Lauren and Cameron ❤️
I am so glad y’all got to do this with the Hamilton’s! One of the traits that I admired from both of them from the beginning was that it always felt like they were on the same page from day one. Like they had real deep conversations in the pod and had a plan in place when they decided to get engaged. They felt like partners.
I agree also 😊they will be celebrating their 4th anniversary soon and you can tell they are truly in love and respect each other. They show you have to continually work on your marriage and couples who do that will go a long way. Congrats to both couples.😉
For sure. He's done that from early on, now you see her body language receives it far better. Oh how I love their chemistry... he still looks at her the same way and she's looking back with same energy.
This is by far one of the most profound discussions about marriage I've listened to! Thank you Melissa, Kevin, Lauren and Cam. Y'all dropped so many gems..I'm going to watch it again and have my notebook ready.
This was so informative as well as entertaining! The chemistry between everyone was so natural and real. I can't believe I watched the whole video and didn't want it to end! 😃
I'm not even married yet, but I get sooo much from these conversations! I will continue to tune in for more Marriage be Hard episodes. They are so insightful!
Yesss, loved this from beginning to end!! Oooo ladies...."it's ok to let go" & let your partner carry some of the weight ....(18yrs & I still have to make a conscious effort to relinquish things) & "speak up early & often" that's a whole word, all in itself!! This was pure joy; congrats & cont'd blessings to you all!
I love it here. I’m single single and taking all these notes. Got my book today in the mail. My future husband better be ready for this work. Thank you guys for this.
36:09 Melissa: Marriage is hard, but part of the reason that it’s hard is because of YOU. *Kevin and Cam looking out to audience to see who she’s talking about*😂😂😂
Cam: “they don’t carry the 1” Parents: NO! 😂😂😂😂 I loved this so much. So many gems and realizations. No matter how long you’ve been with your partner, continuous work is necessary to keep your relationship, personal peace, and connection happy, healthy, and cup overflowing. ❤️
I remember meeting Cameron & Lauren in 2020 at the ATL airport & they were both so kind & humble. I wish them both the best❤ they seem like great humans 😊
Oh I loved this! As a non-married person (who does not quite desire marriage) in a committed relationship, this opened my eyes a bit more. Very enlightening with great takeaways. And I loved hearing the Hamiltons speak (I fell in love with them on LIB) being in an IR relationship myself. Thank y’all!
Cam's point about all human's have something difficult about them to live with. So partnering with another human in this journey of life is challenging but so worth the work required.
My husband is like Kevin in the sense of doing and saying things in his head and giving me a word or start talking in mid conversation like I know what he's talking about..I'm not in your head so I can't keep up with that conversation. I will try the tell me about your whole day and thoughts cause lawd it makes me crazy.
@@IvyElizabeth918 I think it all depends on the man and their sex drive. I dated a man that wanted it all the time and I honestly think it had nothing to do with me he just wanted to get off. I think he has a sex addiction. But yes In this case Cam simply loves his wife.
I have such a girl crush on Lauren… Cam the lucky man!.. JK, love the Hamiltons and Kev and Mel just so wise so many good advices I’m take from this one! Thank you all
This episode and really the entire concept/series is better than gold! So many gems! Y'all and your guests have a level of authenticity/openness that is SOOO needed especially when discussing marriage in this day & age.
I Love Cameron & Lauren as a couple they are the best. Cameron should clone himself because we need more men like him. I am so happy for you guys and so glad that you met. May God bless you with many many more years of wedded bliss and happiness. ♥
Kev is like my husband. But he calls me right away or as soon as he can and I do the same . At the end of the day it’s too much for us to remember esp. while winding down. 32 yrs strong.
They were on the 1st season of, “Love is Blind” on Netflix. It’s a good show. They’re on the 3rd season now. They have the Japanese & Brazilian versions, too. ALL are so good!
Before kids marriage roles are easy. Once kids come things get complicated because if the roles are imbalanced; things won’t be able to stay the same. Roles need to change as the marriage evolves.
This is first episode I watched and I'm not married, but the gems in this episode made me realize things about my other relationships...AND ALSO...like damn...I NEED THERAPY!!!!
I think because their marriage is still new, they are not as comfortable being vulnerable and discussing specifics of their relationship. Then again, it could be that they’ve decided not to share specifics since their marriage is so public anyway
Loved this ❤❤❤❤❤ I knew they wasn’t fake 😂😂😂 I believe in them though the energy always been there and they putting in the wrk❤❤❤❤ love this for them z❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥
This was so good, I’m single but I still learnt a lot about life in general. There were so many gems in this that are not only relevant to marriage but relevant to life in general.
This interview is sooooo darn good! Sending to my husband to watch! Bc whew the part about therapy is spot on. I used to clown and didn’t even know why 🤣
V honest Kev. I’m 25 and grew up with you as a comedian and it’s very refreshing seeing a black man destructing his ego and doing the work. I wish more black comedians were like this.
This is such a great conversation! I’m taking away lots of gems! But I particularly liked Melissa’s advice “Speak up early and often”. I’m not currently married but am in a long term relationship with my partner, and we’ve just moved in together. We have built a great relationship up to this point but it’s so important to continually work on your relationship communication. It takes work and practice like Kev’s Lebron analogy. And I’m so dedicated to our relationship that I’m ready and willing to continue to do that work. Thank you for this episode!
"Just because she let it slide , doesn't mean it slid" the answers from Kev and Melossa to their final question! Whew chile! Don't let the new couple fool ya, very good insight from Cameron and Lauren! ❤️
Hi family!! all I can say is WoW!! this was awesome!! I enjoy every minute of this conversation … I will be getting the book!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🔥🔥🔥🎊🎊🎉🎉🎉🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️🎉🎈🎈
Im a single woman in my late 20s trying to date in this generation and I REALLY appreciated this conversation! They were so authentic and honest and we need to hear this type of stuff. Im learning through my own experiences as well as others, and I’ll be taking a lot of the gems and lessons they shared to try and move differently/better moving forward. Thanks y’all!! ❤
Because of Meeeeeeeee!!!!! 🫢 COME ON SOMEBODY‼️👏🏾 You just inspired me to start back therapy 🥹🥰 Want to live my best single life & my best marriage life when GOD brings my Boaz
Enjoyed this ep as well, not as much as Kirk’s but still great. Having different points in relationships is fantastic. Volume is still waaay too low though. It’d be nice if I could have the option to turn my tv down to adjust as iPhoto having to have it at full column order to hear the show. Any background noise drowns out the show on my tv.
I think you guys are in my head - Mr & Mrs Kev on stage lol. I was just thinking about the Hamiltons. There was a contestant on the show who’s mom lives really close to my home and when I pass by her house I think of this show

I enjoyed this. I came here because of Lauren and Cam. I'm a subscriber to this channel as of today. So happy I'm not married. Life is hard enough. Hahaha
My only complaint about these videos.... THE VOLUME IS LOW.
Ok I'm not the only one struggling!
Thought it was my headphones. They were about to be replaced
Agreed
Agreed!
Thank you because I was going to make a appointment to get my hearing check
I can’t even believe it’s been 4 years already with Lauren and Cameron
Congrats to L&C💕

Beautiful ♥️

Cam is just so chill. I love how he and Lauren level each other out.
The chemistry between the four of them is so good!

To me Cameron seems like an easy person to love.
They both seem very sweet!❤❤
🤦 @ @beysang9147
I love how Cam consistently puts his hand on Laurens leg. so reassuring lol
Congrats Liss and Kev!!! This series is so excellent
For sure. He's done that from early on, now you see her body language receives it far better. Oh how I love their chemistry... he still looks at her the same way and she's looking back with same energy.
Omg Uncle Kev!!! ‘I’m a better husband than other guys vs I am a better husband for her” that’s phenomenal!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Thank you Kev and Melissa for humanizing marriage
I always love how Cam looks at Lauren. 🥰
"Just because she let it slide don't mean it slid" #WhewChild
Kevin came through this podcast.
He really showed up and showed out.
Thanks to you guys and your guests on the show
This is by far one of the most profound discussions about marriage I've listened to! Thank you Melissa, Kevin, Lauren and Cam. Y'all dropped so many gems..I'm going to watch it again and have my notebook ready.
Okkk!!! I was thinking the same thing🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 I felt bad I needed to write things down lol
This was so informative as well as entertaining! The chemistry between everyone was so natural and real. I can't believe I watched the whole video and didn't want it to end! 😃
Completely agree. Even as a single person, this was great advice for growth.
Liss hit the nail on the head...I struggle communicating my feelings to myself as well so how can I possibly explain them to my partner!
I think this is one of my biggest flaws in most of my relationships- both romantic and platonic
“Wishing for the previous seasons where it was easier is of no value.” Across any board and in any arena, that was good.
I LOVE this couple! When I say I only watched Love is Blind just for them! Had the entire family hooked. Even the men in the family lol
I'm not even married yet, but I get sooo much from these conversations! I will continue to tune in for more Marriage be Hard episodes. They are so insightful!
They look at each other so much when they talk. I that’s so cute. Loved this ❤️
Jesus loves you!😊❤ so very much!
"It is hard to share something you don't acknowledge" @30:40 ish is a WORD! My GOD today 🙌🏿
Amen 🙏🏾

36:09 Melissa: Marriage is hard, but part of the reason that it’s hard is because of YOU.
*Kevin and Cam looking out to audience to see who she’s talking about*😂😂😂
I'm screaming😍The Fredricks and The Hamiltons😁Just by the video title alone ,I know I'm gonna love this episode💜🇿🇦
Cam: “they don’t carry the 1”
Parents: NO! 😂😂😂😂
I loved this so much. So many gems and realizations.
No matter how long you’ve been with your partner, continuous work is necessary to keep your relationship, personal peace, and connection happy, healthy, and cup overflowing. ❤️
Another great episode! Thank you for pulling back the curtain on marriage & acknowledging the WORK required on self🎯
Sri, this series is needed throughout the year. No it's not Love Hour 2.0 just call it Marriage Be Hard Podcast . This is soo valuable and needed.
what's crazy is both parents have the same name lauren parents Pam and Bill and Cameron's parents Pam and Bill.
I remember meeting Cameron & Lauren in 2020 at the ATL airport & they were both so kind & humble. I wish them both the best❤ they seem like great humans 😊

The overall volume is low but Pleeeeease alter the volume on Cameron's mic. It was low during Kirk's interview as well 🫶🫶🫶🫶
Love Lauren and Cameron SOOOOO much 💕
The Hamiltons! So happy you're interviewing them! Love them!
Been married 10 yrs and yal dropping gems even for me great convo 🔥🔥
Lauren and Cam are a beautiful couple. So nice and mellow. I bet their arguments are calm. Lol
In one of their UA-cam videos they had an argument, it was so playful and Lauren says Cam bear hugs her if they start getting too worked up😅
“Wait, they’re not carrying the ‘1’ anymore?” 😂🤣😂 Same, Cam, same!
My husband is like Kevin in the sense of doing and saying things in his head and giving me a word or start talking in mid conversation like I know what he's talking about..I'm not in your head so I can't keep up with that conversation. I will try the tell me about your whole day and thoughts cause lawd it makes me crazy.
I love them!!!
I too married my husband 7 weeks after the first greeting!
We celebrated 5 years married Nov 2022
I look at Cam differently every since Lauren said he wants it everyday and he’s a freak. 😂😂
I think that’s most men who are with women they’re attracted to lol
@@IvyElizabeth918 I think it all depends on the man and their sex drive.

When did he say this????
Wow beautiful discussion and lovely to see the Hamilton’s going strong 🎉🎉
So happy they are still together ❤️
I see the growth in y’all marriage Kev and lis and it’s beautiful
I LOVE these conversations, keep it up!!! Not criticizing but the microphones of the guest are on a low volume.
I got married on my birthday as well,my wife is my gift to me👍💯
I have such a girl crush on Lauren… Cam the lucky man!.. JK, love the Hamiltons and Kev and Mel just so wise so many good advices I’m take from this one! Thank you all
The gems in this conversation series are the truth and a word for everyone regardless of relationship status 💜💜👏🏾👏🏾

I’m so proud of y’all👏🏾I listened to the audiobook, it got me through my work day… HILARIOUS
Lauren and Cameron carrying the OG premise of the show
Love is Blind was literally made for Lauren and Cameron to meet 😅❤
Seriously! It turned into a clown show after them
I don't know this couple but this was a great show!👏👏👏
They were on the 1st season of, “Love is Blind” on Netflix. It’s a good show. They’re on the 3rd season now. They have the Japanese & Brazilian versions, too. ALL are so good!

This was so good! It confirmed that I need to be divorced and find another partner that wants to actually partner. 🤷🏽♀️😆🤷🏽♀️
This is first episode I watched and I'm not married, but the gems in this episode made me realize things about my other relationships...AND ALSO...like damn...I NEED THERAPY!!!!
I wish Cameron and Lauren talked more!
I had these same exact thoughts.
I think because their marriage is still new, they are not as comfortable being vulnerable and discussing specifics of their relationship. Then again, it could be that they’ve decided not to share specifics since their marriage is so public anyway
