The line from Lambert (south of Manjimup) to Pemberton is abandoned, overgrown and missing at numerous points. Last traffic from Lambert to Bunbury was ~2005. The line has been lifted through Manjimup, so no chance of this trip again.
It does run from Boyanup, but the line this was filmed on doesn't go through Capel, it goes via towns like Donnybrook, Bridgetown and Manjimup. The line that goes through Capel used to pass through Busselton and continued on to end up at Augusta.
@@BennettBrookRailway thank you so much I have been wanting to know more information about it for a long time. back in 2016, I came to the Bennet Brook railway, and I met Bob Baker. He emailed me information sheets about the signals on the BBR. I have a very passionate interest in railroad signaling equipment, Mainly the crossings, and I very much appreciate the rare signaling equipment that is in use there! I will hopefully be coming back to the BBR sometime after Christmas.
Nice footage! Over here in the UK, there is a small village in the north west called pemberton!
An awesome line to travel over! No Regrets!
Last train in 1993, may I ask, what happened to the line, Can this be done again ?
