I am SOOOOOO glad I waited to pick up an airbrush. I was on the fence for awhile and this pushed me over, ordered with the compressor! :D Christmas gift to myself! Can't wait to get it!
Hey Emil, I've picked up the airbrush, tripod stand and hose package. If I need spare parts, which ones should I get as in which airbrush from Harder & Steenbeck will have the same fittings, nozzles etc to fit this one please?
@@steveisaak4320 absolutely. Even a bit over the top for beginners. Like he’s saying: the HS ultra is even way enough. Yes, it’s more expensive than the China bundles from EBay, BUT: if you want a decent first experience with quality parts, easy maintenance, every part available for replacement and great performance I would invest a bit more money. You won’t end up frustrated because of technical issues and if you don’t like it, you will be able to sell it almost without loss.
That looks really nice! I like the control on the back. Super useful for small areas on miniatures where it’s hard to control the flow. Do you know what size the compressor hose fitting would be? America still refuses to join the metric system lol!
I've always wanted an evolution looking at this amazing limited model I could not help but purchase this right away! I cant wait till it arrives at my door.

Dang. Talk about missing out. Didn't even know about this channel until the beginning of 2022 when I started watching the Manta videos. It looks really nice and wish I had known last year.
At first I was like cool, but no way with out air pressure valve on the airbrush, then the big reveal of that big knob. Been wanting one of these airbrushes for a while and now I might have to take the plunge. I love it's look with the gold and black, it pops. I had it in cart ready to order but it says it doesn't ship to Canada! :( Canada was added and Order was made!!! Thanks Squidmar, can't wait to get it.
After mulling it over I finally caved and went all-in and got the compressor bundle. This will be my first airbrush! I had intended to start off with a cheaper entry-level set but thought this was too good an opportunity to forego. It would be great to see a full set-up tutorial video!
Guys for those thinking of buying. Harder & Steenbeck have the best customer service I have ever had to use. I love my cult of paint infinity. They have a customer for life in me because of it.
My girlfriend got me this for Xmas this year! We're from Chicago- honestly crazy thinking she caught this on a 2 week window when I literally mentioned it in a half comment. Super excited to try it out! Features seem incredible compared to what I've been using...
Alright, you got me. I just finished buying a house last month and I had promised myself I would upgrade my hobby space with an airbrush once I had the space for a bigger hobby area. I was hesitant on the cost since I'm new to airbrushing, but figured the I could practice with the cheap brush that came with the compressor, and that the trigger limiter would be good for me as a beginner. I'm excited for this and looking forward to growing into it and lots of really cool looking minis to come.

Looks like a great kit. However, I'm just starting so this is a "somewhere down the line thing" for me. But congratulations on getting some love Squidmar!
Initially the cost looks high but when you price the ordinary H&S brush plus the inline valve it actually isn't bad. Having been using an ultra and really happy with it I was going to get one of the better ones and it looks like I may have found it. Update: After looking at the normal H&S brushes and their prices I have now ordered one as it seems pretty good value. 😁

I was thinking of buying an airbrush for a while now, but I'm a total beginner. I don't think this amazing airbrush is made for total noobs. And having it limited to only 14 days to order one is a really short time window. It's kinda sad to have to pass this up.
Total noob here as well. I’m grabbing one and putting it on the shelf for a bit until I’m more comfortable with the basics. It’s too good of an airbrush to pass up.
Given the limited nature you could also just buy it and put it on the shelf and look at it as an investment, and in a few years I bet you could sell it before significantly more than you pay. If you don’t crack it open and start using it and love it. Being new to some thing doesn’t mean you should use crappy tools. And more than one case I have discovered after a lot of struggling with the tool was really what was making the difference in my final result
@@johncware66 I just started and can see a major difference between tools. For instance, I got the learn to paint kit that includes a Citadel brush but I also got a full set of Monument Sable brushes, they are night and day. I struggle with the Citadel and the Monument are fantastic. I haven’t tried the Raphael Kolinsky, but I’m sure they’re a slight step above. Never used the H&S Evolution line but we’ve got Infinities in the shop along with a bunch of diff Iwatas.. Ran across H&S at a Wonderfest dealer years ago and liked em, but didn’t bite. Then got sucked in watching Angel G. use ‘em. Liked em so much we’ve (my son and I are both modelers) got a few of the CRs on the rack now. For the bulk of our detail work the Infinities are our go to. Lightweight (we put our quick discos on the manifold side) use a good quality flexible braided line, and you get a very “handy” airbrush. Love ‘em. The triggers on H&S are very different feeling to Iwatas, but you get muscle memory jumping between them after a while.
Dear guys, just oredered the airbrush as a contribution for his amazing work ! I know this is just a tuned silverline but it looks great. So i'm ok to pay the over 50 bucks. Also where can i got the Squidmar paint brushes ?
Really interesting looking version of the Evolution (with some tweaks). The key thing for me is the shipping and customs tax shipping this into the U.K. I think the price point is a little too high as I suspect it will be cheaper to buy the Infinity model locally (which is arguably better) at the same (or even cheaper) price. While the aesthetics look really cool, they don’t add to the function of the unit and does it therefore warrant the price premium brining it on par with the flagship model? Not so sure… Update: Harder & Steenbeck have confirmed that the displayed price and shipping costs do not include any potential import duties that would be levied - this therefore (in the UK) adds about 22.5% to the cost of the airbrush - which therefore makes it cheaper to buy the the flagship airbrush locally - I am guttered that the economics doesn't make this a viable option in the UK (Brexit sucks!!).
I was thinking of pulling the trigger on this but read your comment about shipping to the uk... It says on the site that it includes VAT... Where does the added 22.5% come from that you mention?
I have found that pressure control on my most recent Airbrush has made world of difference in my results. Great looking brush and I am sure it will be great based upon your recommendation. Good luck and good gaming!
Never used an airbrush in my life. Something I’ve wanted to try for a long time. You convinced me. Order placed. You had best not steer me wrong Squidmar!
yeah - just unboxed my squidmar airbrush... and it looks amazing! And I have to call myself lucky since UPS decided it was a good idea and best business practice of depositing the package without any notice at my front door. Mind you, the door of the house where several parties are living, not inside in front of the door of my apartment.. just outside at the doorstep, just a few steps away from the street.... in the rain. I guess UPS is the sound you make when you notice it. -.-
Hey, this is a bit concerning for me as I live near a place where packages can easily get taken. No tracking info given even in spam? Also are you in the US? Still awaiting the package here
@@fractal6648 no that is not what I ment. I received an email notification about delivery with an ETA of tomorrow. What I was missing, was a notification about it being dropped off at my door. No email notification about the delivery taken place though I myself would not speak of a "delivery" if you drop the package in front of the house on the pavement... might be a "cultural" difference :D
@@Phsstpok ah ok, thank you for the information. Less worried now and I may just make it so UPS will hold it at another location and pick it up when I can
I was already planning on getting an evolution sometime this winter and since you were one of my inspirations for getting back into the hobby, buying one of these just felt right. The amazing looks and extra features just makes the getting this one that extra bit more awesome!
Wow I really wish I had pick this up, just didn't line up for me with time and the holidays, maybe if a version 2 or just a second run releases I hope to be able to get it
Wow. That is a really Nice airbrush, but way above my pay grade. I'm still learning basic air brushing beyond priming. Maybe one of these days, I'll be ready to step up to the big leagues.
I ordered the Airbrush using the link on your UA-cam channel on December 2 and to date (December 20) I have received no confirmation or any email from the company as to when the airbrush was or will be shipped. I was charged for the transaction (including VAT charges) by PayPal on December 2. I sent a followup email to Harder & Steenback this afternoon. I know they are shipping airbrushes because Niinjon got his and I think he paid a lot less for his. ;) I can understand the holiday rush, but not the lack of response from the company.
Awesome Emil. I recently picked up the Evolution Siverline Airbrush and compressor from your affiliate links so won’t be able to pick up the limited edition one. It looks amazing though and I wish you the best with the project. 🙌
I REALLY want to get this but I currently have the H&S Infinity CR+ and I'm not a big fan due to the unresponsive trigger (it has a really small deadzone on the trigger pull back before paint starts coming out) @Squdmar Miniatures how is the trigger control on the Evolution comparted to the infinity? They look like they would be built the same
Hey dude, sounds like you should talk to warrick at H&S, a faulty trigger is not something they'd be happy with. send me an email via my website and i'll hook you up with him!
Hey mate, i'd be surprised if you need more than needles / nozzles replaced to be fair! :) thats the type of stuff thats easy to break in cleaning etc.
@Squidmar Miniatures great thanks Emil, appreciate your response. Can't wait to get hold of this truly beautiful airbrush. You did some great work on helping design this. 👏
Awesome! The airbrush looks so great. I already have a Evolution Harder Steenbeck, so I wouldn't spend another 200 bucks on a second airbrush... but if I had no airbrush or only a beginner one, I would be no question to invest!
Ah man, too bad it's for a limited time only. I just had to pay for our wedding, and with Christmas and my professional membership coming up, it would be sometime next year before I could order on. Here's hoping they will bring it back in the future.
@@SquidmarMiniatures Yay it was a great time! Here's hoping this sells so well, that they make another production run in the future because it looks like the perfect airbrush.
Ended up ordering one since I've been in the market for an airbrush and this one obviously seems to be great value for your money. Hope you get some kind of kickback from this, would be a nice way to support a great channel :)
No . I prefer the pain of manually applying primer with a cheap synthetic brush over and over again on the same space marine characters for maximum mental anguish! It builds character
I waited a touch too long!! Was going to pick up the complete airbrush/compressor bundle but it’s sold out. Gutted. The airbrush is a thing of beauty though Emil, you should be proud
Thank you for inspiring me to pull the trigger on an infinity! I ordered a 3-in 1 from spraygunner because for what I pay in shipping and tax for yours, I can get with another needle+nozzle with free shipping domestically. I'm sure you will sell enough without my help. Cheers!
Beautiful piece, but it's the price of an Infinity here in the US... Any chance they might do the same build, but without the special laser engraving and the gold??? Like I said, really beautiful...
Where in the US? Spray gunner has the infinity for $272 for the 2n1 (same needle sizes) but without the pressure adjuster on the bottom. This tops out at around $255 and it comes with said adjuster. That’s with shipping. It’s about 30 bucks cheaper…. Which you could argue that the infinity is a better buy but… it’s so sexy looking lol
@@khristoffersantos5860 SG puts it on sale fairly often, usually hits $260 - you'll also need to factor overseas shipping. No doubt this thing is more beautiful, just wonder how much the bling/style ups the cost, over the function.

Less worried now and I may just make it so UPS will hold it at another location and pick it up when I can
@@fractal6648 seems to be a wise choice...
I was already planning on getting an evolution sometime this winter and since you were one of my inspirations for getting back into the hobby, buying one of these just felt right.
The amazing looks and extra features just makes the getting this one that extra bit more awesome!
Wow I really wish I had pick this up, just didn't line up for me with time and the holidays, maybe if a version 2 or just a second run releases I hope to be able to get it
Held off on buying an airbrush until now. Looks sick and can’t wait to try it out.
Just received my Airbrush. I got number 108, a very sacred number. A most auspicious blessing. I cant wait to use it. Compressor next!
Nice stuff but the I've had my Iwata HP-CS for 15 years and it's still going strong.
Wow. That is a really Nice airbrush, but way above my pay grade. I'm still learning basic air brushing beyond priming. Maybe one of these days, I'll be ready to step up to the big leagues.
Was lucky and had a little extra money for once, really looking forward to trying this feat of engineering!
Hey mate, don't worry. Check your spam folder :) also there's shipping updates on the website at the bottom of the page
Awesome Emil. I recently picked up the Evolution Siverline Airbrush and compressor from your affiliate links so won’t be able to pick up the limited edition one. It looks amazing though and I wish you the best with the project. 🙌
Awesome, thank you!
No update on order/payment since the 27th - When will they update the order?
Just curious if you will ever make this available for Australians as I want this airbrush looks amazing
It was available but was limited edition
Really amazing. I need to buy this one 😀
Just recently got into airbrushing. I can't want until this one shows up!
Maaaan I wanted this.
Unfortunately been laid off at work because of COVID...😭
Enjoy your airbrushes guys, these look amazing!
man that sucks so bad. Hope you get a new job soon mate
Because you are awesome Emil I decided to buy one!!
Sadface. I missed it to Switzerland... what airbrush is the closest to this one in terms of specs ?
I REALLY want to get this but I currently have the H&S Infinity CR+ and I'm not a big fan due to the unresponsive trigger (it has a really small deadzone on the trigger pull back before paint starts coming out) @Squdmar Miniatures how is the trigger control on the Evolution comparted to the infinity? They look like they would be built the same
Hey dude, sounds like you should talk to warrick at H&S, a faulty trigger is not something they'd be happy with. send me an email via my website and i'll hook you up with him!
@@SquidmarMiniatures thank you so much for the reply! I sent out the email this morning.
Ordered Mine Emil. Thank you and Merry Christmas from Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. Love the content.
Fantastic design! Well, I thinks it's time for my good old Silverline Evolution to become my backup airbrush...
Finally a reason to pull the trigger on a higher quality airbrush. Got myself one.
@Squidmar Miniatures what spare parts do we order, please? Parts will need replacing eventually, need to know what I should be ordering.
Perfect timing. I was going to get a Harder & Steenbeck today so i just ordered your. Very Excited !!!!
Really enjoy all the hard work you do, video's, advice and even the cool product Collab's. definately grabbing one, the features look nice.
Oh that's a bummer. Seem like you had some fun though, congrats on the wedding.
@@SquidmarMiniatures Yay it was a great time! Here's hoping this sells so well, that they make another production run in the future because it looks like the perfect airbrush.
Found your channel last week, learned a lot! How can I get this airbrush or one with the same features?
Ended up ordering one since I've been in the market for an airbrush and this one obviously seems to be great value for your money. Hope you get some kind of kickback from this, would be a nice way to support a great channel :)
Gorgeous airbrush! I really wish I knew how to use them, I'd get it in a heartbeat.
He has videos teaching you how! LOL I'm just playing, but also they're not that hard to learn.
No .
I prefer the pain of manually applying primer with a cheap synthetic brush over and over again on the same space marine characters for maximum mental anguish!
It builds character
Hahaha
I waited a touch too long!! Was going to pick up the complete airbrush/compressor bundle but it’s sold out. Gutted. The airbrush is a thing of beauty though Emil, you should be proud
It's still there :) until 11th December
Only just got to watch this video, and yep, it's already sold out. Not a very good business model.
Dear god, that's gorgeous. If I didn't already have an Infinity...
Thank you for inspiring me to pull the trigger on an infinity! I ordered a 3-in 1 from spraygunner because for what I pay in shipping and tax for yours, I can get with another needle+nozzle with free shipping domestically. I'm sure you will sell enough without my help. Cheers!
Told myself id get an airbrush for christmas, and look what I see. Compressor bundle ordered!
Just ordered one, can not wait to get my hands on this.
oh i am deffinitely getting me one of those before they are gone ! it looks awesome !
Can you do an update on how many were ordered and expected delivery dates. Many thanks.
Hey Robert, not sure I'm allowed to share. I think h&s will if they feel it's necessary :) there's a shipping update on the order page if you scroll down.
@@SquidmarMiniatures many thanks for reply we guessed about 1k. Looking forward to its arrival.
Noooo I only just saw this :( Any chance there will be another limited run in 2022?
of all the time for me to be in-between jobs.. I guess ill just have to miss out... never the less it looks amazing and I'm glad your excided about it. cant wait to see what the future will hold.
If I didn't already own an Infinity CR plus, I would definitively order this one. Amazing product and really good price for everything it offers!
The new airbrush looks amazing, sadly I was on my way to purchase it but they don't deliver to Chile. ☹.
Anyway congratulations.
That is an amazing piece of art. I wish I could afford it, but I already have an evolution and therefore I can‘t argument myself into buying it, due to my more than small budget. But I wish everybody, who gets one a ton of fun and enjoyment with it. 🤟
Hey man, always good to think of oneself first. Thanks for the kind words :)
In a stroke of genius I mentioned it to my parents and now I'm going to get one for christmas (or rather end of january, cause H&S are already overwhelmed ^^)
Ordered! Shame the aircompressor package was out of stock... Any idea where to get one?
Just gonna put it out there in case no one else mentioned it. The airbrush really looks like a sleek ass bong
Oh well that is just a thing of beauty there dude. Order already placed!
If we ordered the day of the announcement when might they be scheduled to ship?
You should get it before Christmas, they start shipping today :)
ordered one :) this will go nice with my cult of paint infinity
man, i wish i was in any position to buy this...my airbrush is long overdue for a replacement, this looks so good, props to you for getting your own airbrush
