I really admire how vulnerable he is willing to be and candid about himself he's not pretentious at all. I think some celebrities probably feel somewhat pressured to "act" a certain way how fans of their films might be trying to see them as a certain character. He seems very much just like a normal person who has an interesting profession. Very grounded.

Great actor, great non-elitist humanized person.
this is an awesome interview especially for people in the industry to understand what happened and where it went when digital and DVD formats were "standardized"after a big "fight" for what should be the standarda going forward... I have several friends who lost their jobs because they were traditional film sound people that couldn't work the technologies of digital post because they were not "computer people." and the challenges when we were filming peoples seminars to put them on their websites or to crunch them onto sets of CDs, then DVDs--how to get the Contant to fit on a single Disc-- when the finished edited Contant was just was too BIG (when we were fnew to filming in Raw... this is a great interview, and I'm filling in the gaps of my knowledge because I was involved in computer graphic art and CMYK color space for print production of posters and press kits, etc. My husband was involved in filming Forrest J Ackerman's entire collection for the CDs Game Project of "Forrest J Ackerman Museum of Science Fiction History" combining thousands of digital still photographs and videotaped content for Tour walking us through his House to showcase his collection with all the antidotes about the directors in the films, and how he created Vampirella, and Famous Monsters of Flmland magazine. it was a fascinating time to be involved in Compact Disc Interactive projects. he got to work on the "artist formally known as PRINCE" and the Bob Dylan Interactive Graphix Zone Projects too. I loved being involved in these as well, and of course getting to meet prince in person and have a private party at his club in LA before he opened it with only 150 of us present for three hours where he and Sheila E and the band played for us personally and we got to eat drink dance and party the night away!! those 90s days were AMAZING AND THE DEFINITION OF AWESOME!! thank you Charlie and Keanu Charlie for this wonderful look at digital Hollywood's evolution!!! 🙏💋🔥💙🌎😁

Well because the public could turn on just about his parents if they wanted. His Dad was some college dropout who later went to jail his Mom was a Paris showgirl who liked clothes not really a stretch for a showgirl to be into fashion but anyway they moved several times stuff like that does not bother me but people are fickle so the less you say the less artillery they have to throw in your face later.
He's had some trauma so not surprised he gets anxious and would not like to discuss it. Many people are very insensitive and rude.

His passion about films and technical issues is evident. He has fulfill his dream,and has also been involved into music, and lots of adventures since early age. He is a brainy guy, and what I love most about this interview is keanu’s interest in the theme, and the way the dialogue goes. A guy who listens, and then express himself. Humble!
I feel like he must dabble in directing a film due to his interest.i’d love their band keep playing, composing new songs and perform in Las Vegas new Center, as all the famous ones.

Keanu has endured many challenges through his younger years, he adjusted and learned from many of them. First love was desire to be a professional hockey player, Hockey is an opportunity he engages in when time supports, circumstances brought that dream to an end. He moved forward and discovered a love for film, motor cycles and becoming a business guru. He has become a Philosopher , spreading learning with his wisdom, perseverance through life and presents to us simplicity of how to live life. His emulation with compassion, love for life, love of the earth and all contained therein. I find myself totally amazed as he presents individuals of true importance being able to include names, films, etc… I applaud his Mother, Patricia , a figure who has taught her children how to be a good individuals. Keanu is a most admired human throughout the world

It's inspiring to see someone who is so famous that is so humble and self-depreciating
This is the second time I've watch this interview now, I love all the information about cinematography and its mediums... I'm a 44 year old and I've always dreamed about being a cinematographer; who knows, someday I might find a way to do it. But I digress, I like the conversation and really there's no need to ask Keanu to do a biography, most people know about his life, what we need to know, I mean... I've been a Keanu admirer since River's Edge (86) and Permanent Record (88), those of us who follow his works, we kind of know most of that information, so... Him redirecting the interview in a clever way to the subjects he love tells us lots about his passion for the 7th Art and frankly I respect that. I also understand and respect how he would like to protect his privacy. I could talk to Charley and Keanu for days, super interesting conversation, with some wine, and the playlist of our favorite music playing in the background... 😊 They should do a part two... 🥰 🖤 PS. I want to go to Poland's Cinema Fest too!! ☺️...

Interesting interview... loved the biography section, could have listened for hours on Keanu's biography, on Keanu's films and movies...hahaha and ARCH motorcycle too however Side by Side, a great documentary, understandably set the tone for this interview and so it was cool remembering and learning more about the biography..haha..of silver storytelling and golden storytelling too. Interesting side note for those interested, my brother in law David Holben and his high school friend Derek invented the beginning essence of what has become streaming today. They invisioned a centralized box that could play multiple videos on demand to different rooms and then marketed it to hotels and airports. Long before internet servers could provide the service, instead of having to go to the lobby to rent a video tape to find it already checked out... their invention allowed hotel guests to play the movie from their rooms without ever having a tape in hand. It was so brilliant their patent was bought out early for only $10,000, can you imagine... of course, to them, that was a lot of money at the time. So, just noting this for young people, always, always lock in royalty rights to every work you do, and if your lawyer doesn't know how to do that, find a new lawyer. 🤔Just, remembering...They only sold the patent for the mechanics. Technically, they must still own their rights to the computer code🤔

My son is an introvert 200% but does theatre. Sometimes I do not recognise him on stage. I am an trover myself and yes am very comfortable singing infront of people. Infact introverts will never talk about themselves before. When people asks questions we need to feel comfortable, secure and safe to answer. We protect our private life but not ashamed to tell the truth.
Carrie Fischer had a quote I always like "my extroversion is a way of managing my introversion" and introverts can learn how to be more social or work in a social setting they just may like more alone time to themselves when not working. I was like that for years worked in sales very outgoing and comfortable at work but enjoyed my evenings alone or with just my dog I would be emotionally spent after a long day of dealing with people.

I’ve worked in feature post production as a Digital Intermediate for ten years. All of the things Reeves talks about color timing in post production process (color space between film & digital, RGB, black levels, 4K) shows he paid attention & retained the technical knowledge.
Color me impressed.
