Lorry W M Hang on a minute. So I "made a mistake by assuming" that someone was being positive because they said positive things in a positive way about the positive actions of a young man who would appear to be very positive ? !!! Yes, I can see how that could be a mistake. Jesus, instead of blaming me for Your reactionary response to @ William Casey Wells' perfectly innocent and proud praise of Temar why don't you look at your own prejudices? Mistake ? My arse! Here's an assumption - the only reason you asked William that question is because he is white and you assumed he was a racist being sarcastic. I know this site is full of them but most people are still not despite what the media would have us believe. There are just lovers and haters. If everyone was white - they'd find different white people to hate. If everyone was black - they'd find different black people to hate. And so it goes, in ever decreasing circles until you hate the people in your own street who are the same colour, religion, socio economic class, education level and similar in every conceiveable way - we will still find something to hate them for- it's human nature. Colour is just a very convenient visual vessel

@@greedgod5827 people are layered, especially when they have faced adversity in their lives and/or life changing trauma. I’ve met hardened criminals who could easily commit armed robbery on Monday, help an old lady move a couch on Wednesday and save a kid on Thursday (of course things are unlikely to happen in that succession but I’m sure you understand what I mean). People can be more than one thing. One action doesn’t take away from or counteract the other. And even criminals have their limits as to what they are willing to do. Just because they would rob a bank doesn’t mean they are cool with child abduction. It’s not necessarily a complete 180…he would probably still save the child. He’s just not one-sided, nobody is.

Temar Savon Boggs was recently sentenced to state prison for the Dec. 17 armed robbery of $200 from El Coqui Market in Lancaster. c.2017

How does a thoughtful, kind, motivated person like this end up in jail for robbery 3 years later?
Dec. 17, 2015: Boggs points a gun at the owner of a Lancaster grocery store. He and a 16-year-old accomplice run away with $200 to $300 in cash.
Feb. 5, 2016: Boggs, wanted by Lancaster police in the robbery, turns himself in.
June 16, 2016: Boggs pleads guilty to first-degree felony robbery and conspiracy. "I got in with the wrong crowd and messed things up," Boggs, 18, says in court.
Aug. 16, 2016: A judge sentences Boggs to 40 months to 10 years in state prison.
Feb. 27, 2019: Pennsylvania's Board of Probation and Parole denies parole for Boggs and sets possible review date in August.
Aug. 27, 2019: State parole board grants Boggs parole.
He obviously was raised right to this point, maybe he ran with a bad crowd and his parent(s) didn't intervene enough.
I hope he gets back on a good path.

Shaftell yep, it is sad and I hope he finds his way back to how he was in this video. I feel very much for the victims of the robbery though. Having a gun pointed at you must be terrifying. The amount if money taken is irrelevant. It's a nasty experience to go through . Really sad post script to a heartwarming story
