I have some weird ideas
Hi, just wondering as a suggestion if you could make like a 2jz Toyota of some sort? ❤ you videos 👍👍
make bugo plushies
Time Attack Bugo!
Just a normal miata
If you're Mad Mike then yes but otherwise, are you mentally diseased?
Have had Beam almost since it came out, but mever bought Automation ‘till last week… I have watched you for so long now that I decided it was time for me to build my own cars, and damn I have been missing out. It so much fun just sitting there modelling a car, adding fixtires and see it all come together.
Keep the content coming, it’s great💪
(My bad if my english is wack, i’m not fluent😅)
your english is awesome man i thought you were a native speaker lol
I've had beamng since 2014/15 mabye 'was so simple, all cars had the same sound, and my PC would crash just thinking about having shadows on, I think the newest car (by model year) in beam was the 1990s pesima. I got automation 2-3 years after it came out (released in 2015). I remember back in 2018 the exporter was really twal bad. Automation had better lighting and graphics than beamng so when exporting I would have to remove all the flake in the paint in put it on high gloss for it to look even remotely close, I didn't know that it had mods right on the workshop, so most of my cars were jank V10 car that were designed in 2 or less hours with minimal tuning. Now looking back at it it's come so far in the four-five years I've used it it's basically just a simple and quick way to make your own personal mods. I wouldn't recommend it for any mods you want to release unless you spend lots of time cleaning up the mesh, beams, tris, and adding more parts.
Decreasing the bore would help the engine reach peak power closer to 12,000rpm, along with increasing the stroke to keep that 1.8L displacement, cause 19,000rpm is a huge roof for stroke increase.
The issue is that the peak power would be at 8K and it would drop off very quickly after that.
rotaries would be dope in this game
AUTOMATION FAQ.
It's a really fun little car!
But you're absolutely right: I watch many Automation videos, thinking what I like or not, what I would like to do and which ideas to keep in my "when I'll buy the game" car, but I still haven't bought it. It's a weird sensation/situation and I'm actually happy you talked about it.
And good luck for the Porsche project!
I was internally screaming *CAM PROFILEEEEE* the entire time you were tuning the engine
Brakes are fading, and the discs are fucking big.
Brake airflow: 0
Nice
I used to use Vegas to edit and it's alright, but I'd suggest giving daVinci Resolve a serious try. The free version has more features and runs faster than the versions of Vegas you can get at a reasonable price. It's a little weird to adjust to at first, but then it's just nicer to work with. Either way, good luck!
Good luck with your irl car adventures!
A new Miata has a 2.0L I4 naturally aspirated.
Nice looking car!
Yeah, brakes in Automation seem weird to me recently as well.
And I have always srtuggled a bit to get decent handling with out using staggered tire sizes.
Sounds like an old formula 1 race car
F1 ground effects would help it with downforce and a goose neck spoiler
Thanks for the engine visibility tip. I made a stock jeep Cherokee with a turbo in the game
and couldn't figure out where the engine went.
Ive been playing beamNG since Alfa release about 20 years ago. On an old pre pcie spec computer.
I've had well over 400hp with similar specs you have. Adjust THE CAM PROFILE!!!
The '55' you have selected is "max torque at Xx1000 rpm"
So your max torque will be at 5500 rpm without vvl or vvt.
But it effects the max power and max rpm.
All the sliders in the game should go to absurd values. Whats really stopping 12k rpm is the valve springs. Just cant make them stiff enough. And if you do get them stiff enough, you need a more aggresive cam because all yoir power is at like 8k rpm. Bought this game the other day along with beam and am loving it. Still trying to figure out the little details though. But this was one of the first things i tried. And of course the obvious of going "i wonder how much power i can shove into the smallest car?" Then i started actually making cool things lol
engine go VRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
I think a Miata has partial aluminum panels for lightness. The whole point of a Miata is lightness.
It looks like fiat 124 spider in the front and toyota gr86 in the back
I’ve been waiting for this all dayyy!!! ❤👍
Totally normal miata!
It sounds so much like a motorcycle, I was watching this on my TV and while an ad was playing I was opening up my craptop, then the ad ended and I legit thought I was watching some sort of motorcycle racing video.
So that's what I hear at 2am
You've just made a fat suzuki cappuccino
Basically yes
nice car dude. just watch out, mazda MIGHT sue you for your, uhh, "slightly inspired" Mioto. The explosion you get before the engine even idles has happened to every engine i've made in this update. I don't know why it happens but it does
Loving the regular videos! Keep it up💪🏼
hey i had this same idea a couple weeks ago making high revving cars is fun af
please try making a car with a boxer engine
Yes
That is, in fact, a motorcycle sound
In a car
Would love to get rotaries or diesel engines to recreate some of those crazy miata swaps u see🤣
I'd go with a small displacement 6, instead. As well as lighter chassis and body materials. And I'd ignore what Automation says about tire width.
Now make a 12000 rpm toyota mr-s
High RPM Miata is called "S2000"
Ooooh new video
Your average miata
Miata chassis of this model year were AHS steel not normal steel. I own the game :P
I have really weird idea:
Build a truck or SUV (either one works) with a really small engine (>1.5L) that revs to at least 10,000 rpm.
The performance goal: tow as much as possible.
You would use a lot of short gearing (the 9 speed automatic transmission would probably work best) to make up for the engine's lack of torque.
How do you change the shape of a car body ?? I'm trying to change basic stuff such as height and length but I can't find the bind for it. In the tutorial the guy just holds and drags parts into place while I can't.
I literally just did this last night thats awesome 🤣 used a small I3 150 hp at 12rpm with the flattest torque curve I’ve made only weight 2000 lbs
what about a Christmas showcase? i already have beam, might as well buy automation an make a car idk
no time unfortunately, maybe a christmas stream though
@@automotiveflux fair enough
6:14 it's a bug that everyone have ... it doesn't mean anything
You need to increase the cam profile the higher the rpm you want your power to be made you’re getting valve float even with super stiff springs because of it
@Automotiveflux think you could build a rival supercar to the gma t.50(mclaren f1 mk2) with a 4.0 litre 12,100 rpm v12 like the real t.50 and give it a six speed manual and needs between 650-725 hp try to get it as close as you can to the 980 kg weight estimate.
How are you able to adjust more in depth (spring, lifters stiffness, Balance shafts, Header thickness, etc)?
Alpha 4.2
@@automotiveflux Thank you very much!
There are some weird black squares around 23:26, but I dunno if they're editing issues or Automation exporter jank.
Nvm, they're reflection textures bugging out.
It's more than thar. It's the best selling sports car ever made."sports" as in, sporty to drive. Not fast.
Just a normal miata in Ohio
I want to play this game but I don't realy want to buy a computer.
okay so i want to see my engine in Automation, i go into fixtures like you do and i cant see the settings button to change visibility
Are you in the alpha version? If not you have to complete more of the build to get the engine to show
@@automotiveflux to go into the alpha version is it a beta and if so which one is it
Alpha 4.2, you opt into it on steam
@@automotiveflux thank you
I would not Recommend a Porsche if you dont have the right knowledge... if something break or is Broken you lose a Lot and i mean a Loooooot of money....
Ahh Btw im german and experienced that.... (and im a Mechanic...)
did it cost 30 bucks for you since i got it for 20
Damn that's sad you are parting her out, it's been awhile since I've watched the second channel. Last I saw you will still fixing her up
Which car are you talking about? I forgot what I said in the video haha
So,
1.6L N/A
1.8L T
Lemme give a fun fact make futruriatic versions of discontinued who aggres with me
✋ 'Promosm'!!!
why does it look like a fat suzuki swift/ ripoff Aston Martin?
