Potentially dumb question, but can you do a video one day reviewing your kit? From clothing to backpack, tackle boxes, etc. I've always wondered how you manage to wear long pants, boots, etc in basically every video without dying, especially since I think we both live in a similar area.
I only fish for bass. I go to local lakes and ponds but still haven't found the proper technique or lures😂 618 uses lures I've never heard of and catches all types of fish.
Just used the same lure this morning. Mine is a green back with white belly. I have had it for a few years now. Catches tons of blue gills. I also caught a nice creek bass just this morning.
FWIW, the text books say that the yellow bass and the white bass are both native to the Missippi drainage. In other words before all the stocking that has been done and hybridization of the striped bass x white bass cross, you wouldn’t find the white bas or the yellow bass east of the Appalachian mountains. The yellow bass was reported to be pretty much found in rivers north of where the Missouri empties into the Mississippi. The white bass in the Ohio River valley. The yellow bass according to the fish and game departments were always supposed to be more River fish.
7:16 yup definitely a yellow bass. I have the rainbow trout pattern version of that lure but I've only used it once and got a bluegill. Definitely gotta fish with it again soon.
I can remember catching many rock bass in Michigan. Rock bass are very much like those yellow bass. I will give that lure a try catching rock bass. Rock bass put up such a fight and are fun to catch. I caught some close to and over 12 inches long. The largest was 14 inches that I measured.
One of my favorite things to tell people is that I've caught a 5 and a half pound bass with a live goldfish for bait that was smaller than my pinky small baits and lures work well for me
Hey Nick, Any chance, Did You put the link for that crankbait Somewhere? I'm thinking of buying one and trying it Here at Elephant Butte In New Mexico, In a part of the Lake we called the narrows, Because there are White bass all over. Tight lines, and slammed bobbers!
Was crazy yesterday I caught a fish. I popped the rod tip to see if I'd get feed back. Was a very subtle tick so I knew it was a fish. As I reeled it in it was a small bass. Was a chore unhooking him because I forgot to slightly crush barbs on my circle hooks. I'm going back to my barbless gamakatsu hooks and circle hooks. I know the barbs help hold fish but not to the point you'd need the jaws of life to get the hook out 😂
"Good luck to that little guy" I've removed salt water hooks from freshwater bass... So many times. In Massachusetts every pond is very overfished. It's Sad
Love this channel. But kinda wish there would be more videos fishing for something a little bit bigger for once... it seems to be tiny lures all the time.
I’ve found that almost all panfish are greedy little critters. Even if your just catching small fish, eventually one of the bigger ones or something like a largemouth will come up to break up the panfish party. I’ve never caught a yellow bass, but have caught yellow bass cousins, the white bass, striped bass and the hybrid bass all of them are bullies and greedy too.
I need to start calling every fish I get a PB now 😂😂😂, seriously this PB thing is little out of hand now. Dont get me wrong I love the videos but seriously I swear every video is a new PB when it ain't official
I love it when the water is clear enough to see the larger fish in there...
Bro once again chill out with these good bangers
Why dont you do a biggest crank bait challenge
He will not catch anything.
He did

Try the Strike King Bitsy Minnow, it’s my favorite small crank bait. It catches a lot of fish!
I nominate Nick for the St Francis award for gently rescuing fish in distress.
“See ya later buddy.”x30 😂 I love light tackle fishing. Good videos man.
Eventually....the crankbaits Nick used became so small, they could only be seen through an electron microscope.
E4T6 😝😝😝😝🤣
I'll be sending you some lures soon please please please do a video with them.
Want a fun drinking game? take a shot every time you hear "see you later buddy" lol 😂. great video 👍
Almost as much fun as quarter bounce. Every time someone swears you do a shot.
Your a legend man! I've tried and tried still haven't caught anything! Your videos get me pumped up to keep on fishing! 😁👍
Where and what do you fish for. Let's get you catching fish.
Catching panfish is not that hard, dude.
I only fish for bass. I go to local lakes and ponds but still haven't found the proper technique or lures😂 618 uses lures I've never heard of and catches all types of fish.
My friend. Get a watermelon red sinko. 4 to 6 inch. Doesn't matter and wacky rig it... You can not, not catch a fish.
@@AdamDJim Not sure where you live but try downsizing your presentations. I like the ned rig if I can't get a bite.
Ive bought ultra light tackle because of your channel. Another great video. Well done buddy.
Always enjoy watching your video podcasts.
Not all expensive lures are worth the money, but that one definitely was. Great job!!
That thing was getting hammered. Nice.
I love your videos you are probably the one of my best UA-camrs I love your fishing videos

Unknownbrand your profile picture got me good
Great rescue work..after turtle now blue gill...those yellow bass were tiny power banks..
7:16 yup definitely a yellow bass. I have the rainbow trout pattern version of that lure but I've only used it once and got a bluegill. Definitely gotta fish with it again soon.

Please try fishing with trailers! Tie on your normal lure and then a foot behind that tie on another smaller lure and see which gets more fish!
Every time you catch a new PB
One of my favorite things to tell people is that I've caught a 5 and a half pound bass with a live goldfish for bait that was smaller than my pinky small baits and lures work well for me
Crazy how sometimes monster bass will eat smaller portioned baits like ribbon tail grubs or tiny crank baits. 😮
This was such an awesome video

bass pro used to sell a very similar crankbait, maybe check there! thanks for watching Dave!
Do yellow bass not get very big? We don't have them where I'm from.
nice job with the bluegill Dr. Nick

7:11 striped bass dont have the broken lines, white bass do they also have taller shoulders than yellow bass so it may be a white bass.
Actually I believe it's a wiper. A striped and white bass. Wipers look like stripers but have the messed up lines
Maybe you should expand your fishing zone, that way your new PB's aren't as big as other people's micro catches.
Jubal Early maybe you should shut the fuck up because nobody cares about your dogshit opinion
Good fishing, this place is wonderful, Congratulations.
*Hug!!!!!!!!* 👍😉🎣
Suellen Gonçalves - Pesca Esportiva just saw you on milliken’s fishing channel with the same comment...
Man I always enjoy your awesome videos:))
Do a tiny lure challenge on saltwater please!
Hey nick my name is Pete. I have a lure suggestion for you. . . it's a supper tiny blade bait made by cicada.
Good vid man. Should take the tiny lure challenge to the Tiny Streams you used to fish lol. Miss seeing the tiny stream vids!
try a few steps to your right where the grass is for larger fish
Hey man! Love your videos! You produce some great content.
Holy cow, fish on, what in the world, no way. see ya later buddy
You should do a video on a yellow bass catch and cook!

"Good luck to that little guy" I've removed salt water hooks from freshwater bass... So many times. In Massachusetts every pond is very overfished. It's Sad

You need to make a video on your lures collection. Kick ass video and lure. 👍🤗🇺🇸
Dig watching everyone
Good video man love the vids
That was a tiny little crank. I don't even want to think of what the price tag on it was.
Awesome video 😎👍 keep up the great work, I caught a giant fish uploaded the video today ☺️
@gcjerryusc
Sweet thanks 😊
Nice man...can you show your camera. Thanks
Loved it!! If you get a chance, you should try the magic bean by lunker hunt. Inexpensive lure, 5 bucks. Looks like a good micro bait! Keep up the 🔥🔥🔥
I know this video is going to be good
Try fishing for yellowtail in San Diego now that's a hard fighting fish
Love this channel. But kinda wish there would be more videos fishing for something a little bit bigger for once... it seems to be tiny lures all the time.
Can someone answer this for me, is a yellow bass different from a hybrid or a striper, cus they look almost identical
I wonder if that bluegill might have picked up a lost hook while aggressively bedding. Fish will damage their bodies clearing beds of debris.
Ever been to rend lake? We are headed there tomorrow night. Also love the videos. Makes we want to go fishing 😁
never been. good luck out there man! thanks for watching!
Very good job!!!
Hello from tô Brazil!
Next lure you should get is the rapala xr 4 its a little jerkbait, its one of the smallest I’ve seen
Nice minnows
Where did he go?
4:44 What a monster.....
Cool crank but those yellow Bass would bite a turd with a treble hook
Link for the luer your using
Works for dinky yellow bass frye 👍
Did you know that yellow bass get up to 13lbs+if you do a biggest lure challenge you might catch a big one
Yellow bass ? Those look like what we call wipers white bass×landlocked striper there is a definite yellow color to them
awesome i have some tiny lures i need to send you but haven't had time :(
Wish that I was aloud to go fishing
mmm Daiwa Tiny Minnow... 💦
Do another big bait challenge
Here among first viewers as always 👍🏽
thanks Paul!
That yellow bass was a paid actor. You guys sure wasted a lot of films trying to perfect that scene. 😆
What pb?
Does anyone know the name of this lure?
I’m guessing him calling yellow bass is oklahoma calling them sandies? lol aka sand bass?
Bass pro has em less than $4.00
I need to start calling every fish I get a PB now 😂😂😂, seriously this PB thing is little out of hand now. Dont get me wrong I love the videos but seriously I swear every video is a new PB when it ain't official
If you fish enough, you know when it's the biggest one of that species that you caught. It's really not that serious man.
PB #264
PB, PB, PB .........................
Cut those up and try cat fishing there, or throw some out as live bait. That bigger one had bite marks on it for sure.
Rip bluegill at 2:20
Try use OFMER DRUNKEN
Are yellow bass just strippers?
Your first DID NOT come from cabela's
i know i realized that when i was editing.. they were made by bass pro shops. discontinued unfortunately
Bass pro and Cabela's are one company now basically.
"See ya later buddy."
Why is this guys title Smallest lure catches big fish (new pb)
This guy uses the same titles for every tiny bait he uses lol
I know rookie mistake guys I'm still learning I know a good amount and do ok but I should of known better
