As a life long Buckeye fan well yes I do love these highlights. And the Buckeyes got there butts kicked last year by probability the best team in college football history. So be proud of who ever you root for!!!!!!! And GO Bucks!!!!
I'd still say Lsu the year prior was better. They literally beat the team Alabama fielded a year prior. I also think our team that lost to Clemson the year prior would have went toe to toe with both the Alabama and LSU squads.
And as far as the best team ever discussion goes, that's nearly impossible to determine. I'm a diehard Bama fan, and Bama has fielded a few teams that should be included in that discussion. But so has Ohio St, Florida, LSU, Oklahoma, so on and so on. There's just way too many variables. As far as last year's Bama team goes, they were great, but not my favorite of all time. Some people want to throw in how many 4 and 5 star players are on a team, or how many first round picks were on a team. But without team chemistry, heart, and grit, all that don't mean shit. Once again there's too many variables. It hurts to say this, but in my opinion, the best team I ever watched, wasn't from Bama, they weren't undefeated either. The best team I believe I ever seen was the Gator team, after they lost the game to Ole Miss, and Tebow gave the speech, where he vowed to make it up to his coaches, teammates, and fans. And he did! I believe from that point on, for the rest of the season that was the best team of all time! Damn that hurts to say. Roll Tide💪

It also convinced him not to overwork/overpractice before the playoffs and give the team a little more time to get their feet back under them, as he felt that the team was dead-legged for this game. Seemed to work well, as we reeled off 2 of 3 NC's the following years.

I'd still say Lsu the year prior was better. They literally beat the team Alabama fielded a year prior. I also think our team that lost to Clemson the year prior would have went toe to toe with both the Alabama and LSU squads.
Well said Fakey Fakefake! RTR!
Roll Tide💪

Not trying to be mean, but the original point was that OSU hasn't had much to cheer about since this game. They've had a very weird stretch since 2014 with their playoff woes and getting blown out by Iowa and Perdue. Hard to believe since every media talking head said Saban was done and Meyer and OSU would be the new dominant power in college football.
@@marktastic86 OSU has had a lot to celebrate since 2014; southerners just don't care. Michigan 2018, Clemson 2021, Penn State 2017 are all great games that Ohio State fans cherish. Why Kiffin didn't run Henry more in the 2nd half after he was gashing them the few times he actually ran him and decided to keep throwing it with Blake Sims (who could be erratic) is the eternal enigma among Bama fans. Bizarre. But, this game was the best thing that could have happened for the next few years, as Saban decided that we had to get faster up front on D to handle the wide open offenses. It also convinced him not to overwork/overpractice before the playoffs and give the team a little more time to get their feet back under them, as he felt that the team was dead-legged for this game.
