    You could have included him being a nice teammate. He won several team mate of the year awards. I know it's nothing too spectacular but it still tells a lot about him

      that niceness is what allowed him to last 19 years...most players can stil play when they are let go before the age of 38 but a lot of them weren't good teammates...theres a reason jose calderon is still on a roster at his age you know...and nene...and vince and dirk and terry until he retired last year....you have to be known as a good teammate so you dont poison a locker room...thats why a lot of 28 year olds aren't on teams even though its a prime year for many and you would think teams would rather have a 28 year old then a 37 year old or a 20 year old in theory right?..

      Yea, I don't think I've ever seen a shot chucking volume scorer outright say 'I think I'm best used coming off the bench' and volunteer for the position, but props to him for that.

    J Crossover is easily my favorite player of all time, I met him the week before he dropped 51 and got my hat signed by him. However, this has not made me play like Jamal. Hoping he comes back next year.

    I live in the Seattle area the basketball tournament that Jamaal hosts is awesome and because of that I've met NBA superstars past and present like bill Russell and Patrick Ewing.

    I am from Seattle and we love this man Jamal. A real class act always humble and gives back to his community. He even rebuilt a basketball court in renton. A future HoF and a Seattle Legend for sure

    I grew up in the Seattle area and I graduated the same year as Jamal. He won the 1998 WA state title and I thought to myself I hope he does make it to the NBA and if (when) he does I will be cheering for him to succeed. He indeed succeeded in his own right.

    But Lou Williams might tied for the most awarded 6th Man of The Year if he could get a nod at this year's NBA Awards. But if Sweet Lou will get another 6MOTY nod next year & he'll win it then he'd beaten Jamal Crawford.

    When he put up the graphic saying a few guys I've never heard of it made me feel old. Dragan Tarlac never really played and at that time you never really heard about what international players were doing overseas outside of the Olympics and World Basketball championships. However if you were a college basketball fan at the time you'd definitely know who Bryce Drew and Khalid El-Amin were no doubt!!

    Crawford was *so* incredibly streaky and exciting to watch. A couple of things that probably should have been noted in the video...he's usually been a good 3-point shooter, and *extremely* reliable at the free throw line. Even led the entire NBA in FT shooting percentage one season.

    As a Knicks fan playing NBA 2K8 I like to take credit for realizing Crawford was not a starter, but a bench player. I brought him in as the backup PG and he would lead the 2nf unit in scoring. One game I had 82 points with him.

    my brother played with jamals youngest son in a summer camp. his name was JJ and he was so proud of his dad. this was when they were like 5 tho but its pretty cool that he knew the son of an nba player! i dont know for sure if JJ was jamals son but after googling 'jamal crawfords son' i found a photo of a really young JJ sitting in jamals lap during a press conference, so either he was a doppledanger or he was actually his son.
