- It's already time for some upgrades for my brand new Axial SCX24 Jeep Gladiator. I knew it from the first trigger pull. 😂 Brass was definitely going to be necessary to make it more capable. I have several parts I picked up at Reaction RC Hobbies when I was there and a few I already had on the bench. Let's do this!

Love that setup! So impressed with the longer wheelbase and added performance mods.
I agree. The longer wheelbase is nice!
Just got mine. Folks complaining about $15 price increase have lost their minds. Just the increase in slow speed modulation alone is worth the extra! Absolutely love it and also removed the rooftop tent immediately ha.
This thing is amazing. I agree that the new electronics are worth the price increase. So nice
Hi from V&b Speed a new rc community channel ✌ Those rims r wicked all those up grades r sweet.
. lemonade time
That hook turn though!!!
Right? I’ve never done that on the course yet. I usually struggle to make that side hill. My new Furitek chassis trucks and make it now as well.
nice wheels and great crawling
Thanks buddy!
That's awesome dude
Once again!!! changing the game in the SCX24 world Tony. Looking amazing brother. Seems to crawl pretty darn good as well!!!
Thanks Nick. You are about to change the look of SCX6 beauty videos. The part 1&2 videos you posted on the trail were awesome. I watched them on my TV, but need to go back and leave a comment. The location was fantastic.
@@CCxRC Awesome Tony. I appreciate that brother.
Yes
Good guess.
Looks amazing
Our friend in our group backyard crawler Addicts, Tom cooks has the thumb controller for the radios
I'll need to get one
Just picked one up looking to upgrade it..Keep the Video's going 👍👍
Great video Tony! I ordered the blue one and some upgrades, you did pretty much all the exact things I'm doing to mine except I went emax on the servo and PN racing 90t for the motor💯🤜🤛🔥🔥⚡⚡
Great choices Riff Raff! I had a hard time choosing colors. The blue looks so good.
@@CCxRC thanks man, I was going to go micro 99 but opted for the emax instead since I'm just running for fun. I meant to say PN racing 90t. Motor. I got some tires, wheels, brass etc. And am doing the exact same shock setup but keeping the stiffer springs to start with... Should be a blast 😁👍
try turning those tires "backwards" and I bet they'll climb better - I'd sat some oil filled shocks and maybe softer springs would help too
Make it😁
You guessed it. I wasn't sure for a minute there
@@CCxRC Got faith in you man!
Very nice 👍😎👍
Nice
furitek micro brushless would-be killer in it
man o man, it sure would. don't tempt me. haha
I usually delete rear springs and relocate both shocks to chassis
I saw a video where a guy put a wide zip tie on the wheel and cut it to length for his thumb
Old mod, nowadays you 3D Print something.
I have the deadbolt and just bought this 1 today want to order the weight parts but nothing listed are you finding everything that fits the deadbolt will fit this truck ?
I think you will make it.
You believe in me. awww
Yeah got confidence in you
Thanks for the vote of confidence!!!
I guess I was right. But poor tree. Lol
😂😂😂🤗🌲🤗😂😂😂
Hello I really like the wheel and tire setup you possibly know Where can I find these exact wheels they were out of stock on the link thanks:)
Carilina squat
hAHA. you saw it. lol
😁😁👍👍
Awesome.
What servo mount are you using for the Reefs Micro 99 servo? Any mods to make it fit?
Hot Racing Emax mount or Samix. You can also cut the stock mount to fit.
What a dimension of tires? Thanks
Is the torque beast plug n play?
Yes. The 2.0 is. It fits on the stock transmission.
Just so curious how you got that reefs 99 micro in there lol. Did you widen the chassis?
Nope. 😂 they barely sneak in there. Usually the shock compression is more to one side, so it didn’t usually hit or limit travel.
@@CCxRC awesome! I have one laying around just wasn’t too sure if it would fit.

I purchased power hobby beadlock wheels, tires and wheel weight extenders. But the hole in center of wheels aren't big enough for the wheel hex nuts that come with wheel weight extenders to fit through. Am I missing something?
Might not work with that wheel set. Some people have to shave things and drill things when they start combining aftermarket parts. That’s why I bough brass wheels. No extra weights needed.
@@CCxRC yea I have the brass and black power hobby wheels. Ok so no extra weight needed but I want a wider stance and it looks like even the extenders are 7mm hex size which still won't fit through center hole of power hobby wheel. Don't want to drill them because it will damage the black paint job on them. Just trying to figure out How to keep those same wheel and use extenders. Seems like some other brand of wheels work but I like the look of the power hobby ones so trying to stick with them.
@@flipster2321 The best way to extend them would be the Hot Racing extended axles. Then it uses the regular nut
@@CCxRC gotcha. Ok thanks for info.
Can you recommend or send link for hot racing axles you are talking about. I have the scx24 gladiator. Thanks
Do you have a link to the new motor?
Yes. I just put it in the description. Sorry I missed adding that. bit.ly/3GFwXKz
@@CCxRC Did you choose the 14T?
What's your shock setup???
Look at 6:20 - 7:25. Stock shocks, just change where they mount. Very simple
Fail, and for some reason, theres a fire.
