I had written a love poem when I was in my graduation.
- A Day of Monsoon -
Black clouds above the head, a monsoon's event
that hectic morning, I was waiting for her advent
A restlessness in heart and past few days of despair
many failed attempts to see her but eyes didn't care
Suddenly I witnessed a miracle or was it divine blessing
from bleakness of a far, she was slowly emerging
elegantly embellished in green white checked attire
as if nature gave birth to her few minutes before
Both of her long earrings swinging in harmony
tiny bells of of her anklets producing symphony
The mascara under eyes and her round nose pin
such beauty ! really tough for a human to sustain
Winds altering paths as she was proceeding closer
every limb of mine trembling with electric shiver
It made me wonder what made her so gorgeous
then she untied her hair and clouds felt jealous
Clouds darkened and rain began in an instant
to protect herself, she traveled to a large distant
She left a delightful glimpse before going away
that filled me with glee and cherished my day
Her departure bestowed a sense of sweet pain
like a mad jolly soul, I danced in the shower of rain
