How to make stamp album leaves suitable for any stamp format

Modern stamps come in all sizes or formats, even from one country. It is a pain to assemble the stamps in chronological order in standard album leaves which has only fixed width strips. Making your own stamp leaves with variable size strips that caters for any size stamps or stamp sets including minature sheets would be great way to present your stamps attractively. A way of making highly customised strips is shown in this video. Most of the materials are easy to come by except the thin double sided tapes which are 1 or 2 mm wide, available in clear or black. Very useful video. I worry that the glue might end up on the stamps. Certainly cheaper and more flexible than using commercial mounts.
