What a fascinating video. It’s a glimpse back into the band’s child-like growing phase. I’ve never thought of them as the types to send their frontman and lead guitarist to sit at a table in tiny local record shop, sign CDs, and play some songs in a corner with of a couple of acoustic guitars, but of headling festivals, selling out huge venues, and being super iconic and sweeping. Crazy to see them just be some alt-rock blokes, long before OK Computer and Kid A, just trying to deal with rapid success and further developing their sound after a so-so debut.
Mr. Stephanian is gone but Matilda is still in the pharmacy some days. It's a gift and curiosity shop only thought, they don't fill prescriptions anymore.
