- The Cosmic Ghost Rider Omnibus by Donny Cates is due to be released soon. But with the Marvel Cosmic Universe by Donny Cates Omnibus Volume 1 coming out last year, there's a lot of overlap in the contents. Between Thanos, Silver Surfer Black, Guardians Of The Galaxy, and everything else that's been solicited so far, is there an easy way to collect this series?
I take an overview of both books, check the solicits, and determine what will be the best way for you to save some money!

So I picked up Cosmic Ghost Rider omni this week. Already had the GOG OHC and the Treasury Ed.Silver Surfer Black (picked up Inhumans trade this week also). Fairly happy with the direction I went. Thanks for the help.
Yeah I got all three… D.C. cosmic, Cosmic Ghost (preorder) and Guardians Ohc. Wish they would have just made an Omni out of all of it.

Cates didn't write Revenge of the Cosmic Ghost Rider or Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History.
Cosmic Ghost Rider Omni collects all the material written by him and others (Paul Scheer, Dennis Hopeless). So it's not Cates centric (albeit 70% of it is) but character centric.

I have bought the marvel comic universe and the guardians of the galaxy book and ghost rider both trade paper back.. but can you tell me from where to start .the order of reading these books plz???

Super useful video. I haven't yet picked up cosmic ghost rider but like cates. That Marvel Cosmic omnibus( cmon its a ohc) was expensive for the page count.
Marvel seemed to collect Venom by cates a bit weirdly as well. 2( soon 3 really nice ohcs) but for some mad reason they miss out absolute carnage and king in black. I wish they included them but picked the trades up instead. If you would've pucked up the omnibus then you'd miss out on venom island in ohc.🤷
Which company do you find is better collecting everything in one package? I think marvel is better than DC. Either company don't always make it easy though.

It's because they know I'll buy an omni of the events haha! Bit of a tricky question though, because they've both had big W's and taken L's. On the whole, I think DC is better at collecting events because they print them in publication order, whereas Marvel doesn't, but Marvel is much better at including everything :) which do you side with?

I side with marvel collecting everything in order but DC has nicer and more affordable collections especially for events. Basically I share your opinion.

Easy decision. Don't buy anything Marvel and buy indie comics instead. You get actually good stories.
Some people may still want this book though, different strokes for different folks 😂😂😂
