Man that is mind bending! Telling a meaningful story through drums wasn't something I thought would be possible, and yet I'm watching it! I think that's super inspiring. Also props to Ben for his ability to synthesize these morphing landscapes in his animations. Great stuff!
Not in this video. The animation work was done in post. However it's possible and I'm in the process of learning more about it. I have another video on my channel where the midi from each drum is generating visuals and changing the effect parameters of the graphics.
