Construction Fail! Machine Falls off Trailer

- Construction Fail! Machine falls off trailer. Alex is back with a very nice and heavy solo rollover, using our 75ton rotator, Big Flipper. The city is technically Los Angeles, but close to the border of Torrance. Your guess is as good as mine as to the exact reason it rolled over, but Alex is a professional and got this heavy machine upright with no further damage.
The first step was to lift and swing it enough to where the trailer can pull out of the way. From there, it was just a matter of strategically rigging it so once upright, he could rotate it to the island where they would then work on it.
Total weight on this machine was roughly 25,000lbs. Alex used the auxiliary lines to assist in a very controlled and smooth "mid air roll". This is when you lift the unit, then flip it in mid air. It's safe and looks very cool, especially from the drone's perspective. Hope you guys enjoy this cool recovery!

Watching you do this job Alex, it was like watching a heart specialist. Precision, steady hand, took care of the 'patient', no panic. Mr Smooth, well done, Pepe's should be proud of you. (i know they are, so are we)
Alex is a skilled operator -- not only of the truck but also the camera, drone and the commentary he provides. Also, I've noticed that he's a good representative of the company as he interacts well with the customer. I also liked the fact that he was patient with the bystander that wanted to tell him how to do the job. That's a lot nicer than simply blowing him off.
No muss, no fuss, Alex is on the job! 👏🥰❤️💋
honestly, you gotta love those "sidewalk" superintendents!
You would be surprised how often strangers explain to me how to work as a police officer...
Alex did a nice smooth job handling that machine without strutting around around like a rooster saying how good he was. A clean well executed job !
I loved the stranger trying to tell you how to do it. I wonder what his job is? One day I was admiring the job a welder was doing on some piping and jokingly said I had a few free minutes would he show me how to weld like that and I loved his response: "just put on a helmet, someone will be along shortly to show you how to do it".
Another great job Alex.
Thanks Alex. Nice that Pepes hired you this past year and enjoy when you're involved on scene because of your calm demenour in tense situations. Thanks.😊
Thats my grandpa in the orange shirt, and that's his truck and trailer!!
great job Alex.
Hey Josh, Alex is giving you a run for your money. Love it. Great job Alex you learned well.
Between you and Josh we're getting some pretty interesting lifts. It's cool seeing the different scenes you guys are called to. Nice work.
Great job Alex keep the videos coming love watching them
Man! Literally that was a close encounter with a UA-cam expert! those who knows better all the time every time. You handled it like a champ!
At least the bystander didn't start with, "Oh, my cousin has one of these, and all you have to do is..." and ended with "...Ive seen it done 100 times." 🤣
Never try to give advice to an equipment operator. I thought you handled the gentleman perfectly. I had one many years ago and I let him know I was in charge and we were doing it my way. He walked away mumbling something along the lines of my heritage and where I could shove something, but he left
Nice job Alex
What a weird-looking machine! 🤨 It doesn't look very stable at the best of times 😅. Great job Alex! 👍
You Rock Alex...! Like this tats too bro...!!!
They laying down a tram/light rail bed there? I guessed right that it fell off that trailer.Great way to start the days work. A good thing that your Muchacho was there to give advice.
Every time you guys have a trickey load
You guys take care of it like ya no problem.! You are very good at what you do.! Not to do anymore damage
Then what has already happened.!
It was a very nice episode, I enjoyed watching it. On to the next
Nice recovery... That GMC Jimmy Sierra Classic in the back ground was nice too. Brings back memories!
An interesting job. It's always great to see some lifts of different equipment rather than just the rolled containers on the freeway ramps. Your rigs are so well equipped and you and your crew (Props to Alex) not only entertain us but give us an education. High school kids should watch your stuff to learn about geometry and physics applied to real life.
Nice
*facepalm* to random guy trying to school Alex.
😂😂
That was a bit more complicated job than some of the container jobs! Good job Alex
Really nicely done! Alex is getting better and better!
Great job Alex 😊
Looking very nice work 👍👍👍👍👍😊
Impressive, good job
Ah, the "helpful" bystander...wow. Didn't the driver have the machine chained? Perfect, Alex, just perfect. You do great work! Stay safe out there!!
Somewhat difficult to load/unload stuff when it's chained down. Couldn't make out if Alex said load or unload when it tipped over.
Very good job plus Alex did not have to deal with mess of cleaning up.
Can't tell what Alex was saying (I can barely speak the one language I know LOL ) to the idiot but he sounded calm and polite to me. sign of a professional.
Yeah, those curb and gutter machines are super awkward. Nice work Alex!
Who ever does the recording is a pro
Excelente Excelente Alex!! Definitely a whole new twist.
Nice work Alex! Good video!
New Subscriber here...I'm glad nobody told me how to be a background artist, actor, camera operator, boom mic operator, and camera operator. I have 10 years of experience. Lol
And of course it had to roll towards and near the power lines. Nice skill set 😎👍
We admire your working skills and as you and Hulk Josh is always explain the difficulties of the set up,great stuff and don't stop peace out
It might be called easypour, but looking at the construction of the machine, its easy all fall over too ! Glad you could right it and not be compromised. well done.
Another fantastic job Alex...Very well coordinated... Nice to watch an experienced operator at work....Stay safe
Takes a lot of patience to not further damage equipment. Another well orchestrated Geppetto recovery. Customers were elated nothing further was damaged too.
Smooth like buttuh!!👏👍👍
Nice job young man...
Ahhh, not a container. Very nice job.
Really nice job. Stay Safe!!
Good video
Alex another great job! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Another great job Alex say hi to papi chulo JOE ❤
Very good job...
Nice on Alex see y'all on the job.
Holmes comes up and all mansplains to you. it's like Sure thing G I just have this big truck and this expensive equipment but have never done this before
executed job! Real professional
Like a 3D ballet going there. I get anxiety every time I see a load come up! lol
LA is wild! They will build on the tiniest strip of land.
Nice job well done Alex keep up good work Love the video too
Guy who came up to tell you how to flip it looked like he has a Sneaky Pete gun holster on him.
He probably lived where all those cars were parked....lol
Another recovery well done so stay safe out there …👍
Good job Josh.
I hope you didn't forget your shovel.
And the power lines make it more challenging
I love watching your videos you make it look so easy keep busting them out be safe have a great day
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
Interesting lift there, well done!
Great Video!
People go out of their way to tell operators how to go about doing their job. I owned 11 wreckers for almost 13 years and have had guys drive around then turn around and come back to tell us how to do it. It was the same way plowing snow. They would climb up on my step to tell me how to do it.
Hi, Alex!!!
Great job Alex. Can the auxiliary lines lift as much as the primary or is it different? If so how much of a difference?. Thanks for sharing. That was very interesting. Much love. Stay safe and healthy.
Chains? Chains! 😅
That’s a very wide street! Do you know what they are building in the middle of it?
Just a quick look . It looks like he has chains and binders around the ramps , but forgot to chain the load .
It looked as if someone else was manning the drone and the other cameras. How is the drone positioned with only one person? Again, great job, great camera work and excellent editting.
He sets it up by himself before doing the move obviously off camera
I'm surprised that those curb machines don't tip over more often. They look very unstable.
That one had the hydraulics jacked up, they can come down some but still an awkward machine.
Alex, can you show the clevis you used with the springs on them?
Excellent .bravo pour votre travail.
Who mainly at Pepe's Towing Service drives THE BEAST / UNIT 21 which is the semi with the Detachable Towing unit?
Are those concrete pads for “Tiny Homes” ?
What are they building in the middle of the road there?
What are they building on that spot
Did I miss something? Where's Hulk?
Very intersting job and well executed. Laying on its side the machine has lost a lot of different liquids, Fuel, maybe oil and hydraulic fluids. did the realy cover these only with sand and not removing it? Protecting the enviroment?
If you remove it straight away you won’t achieve anything you need to let it absorb the oil then lift it and then probably another brush up with some proper oil dry and that’s as good as your gonna get
@@gregshearer423 Thanks very much for your explanation. That makes sence. 😃
It could have been worse it could have been a load of wet concrete! 😅
Pendejo strolls up, says: "Cabrone, I could flip that over with my pickup for $20. Easy money. Mucho Cerveza manana."
That's a older curb and gutter machine I've delivered hundreds of loads of concrete to those machines last 35 years.
You better hire that stranger before someone else does.
13:08 I hate to no end when people come over and do this! It’s sooo annoying!
You would be surprised how often strangers explain to me how to work as a police officer...
👍
Beautiful job.
Oops
Dang; that machine is built unstable. The one front wheel is in the middle.
They have to be, unfortunately, because of the curb coming out of the rear of the machine.
Easy for flipper it beast of rotator love hulk but flipper stronger
*PromoSM* 💔
Sidewalk (this case compacted fill) Superintendent. Aren't these Superintendent's great (not)
Are they building houses down the middle of the street? 🫤
I'm female. Half my customers were body builders. Guess who knew more than me. 🤨
