- Jo visits Hawaii to help the Smith family. While parents Will and Michelle are bright marine biologists, they're completely clueless when it comes to raising their two toddlers: 3-year-old Nate and 2-year-old Ari. Nate is not potty-trained yet and is still in diapers while Ari still drinks from a bottle and throws a tantrum when he doesn't get it. The parents admit the kids run the house and have no idea what to do. Can Jo help this family out?

These are the most likable parents I've ever seen on Supernanny!
Exactly I agree 😊
Completely! They're so lovely ❤
Totally Most parents fight Supernanny but not only do these two voice nothing but appreciation for her and do ask she asks but they fully accepted the balme for their children's behavior when it came time for Supernanny to explain to them that their kids behave the way they do because of their parenting methods
Literally out of every other video I watched all the parents were like just no
I know!
That was the most likable father I've seen seen on the show.
This one, and the dad who lost his wife.
@@mandadenzer4648that would be the Evans Family. And may I add, both parents in the Smiths were just SO loveable
Parents who humbly accept that fact that they need help are the most brilliant parents to me. Parenting is HARD for literally everyone. These parents not only treat their kids with so much love regardless, but they love them SO much they accept their own shortcomings and reach out for help. Those are really wonderful people.
Agreed
This dad has the same name as the celebrity voice actor "Will Smith"
Awesome job mom and dad
😢
Was ca😊
These parents are so full of love for their kids, it was wonderful seeing them all grow together
‘When she helped)
That is the love we have for our kids...
How are you doing.?
Agreed
They're total hippies.
These are also the only parents who did research and asked colleagues in the child development arena to get ideas on how to make things better.
“These are the only parents who did research & asked colleagues”…. Really?
How do you know that?
I think it's partially to do with their background as scientists.
Obviously didn't work then 😂
@@theyliveyousleep8965 The parents actually said they sought advice from colleagues and did additional research through text books etc... I believe it was mentioned close to or shortly after the 3:28 min. mark.
@K M yeah I'm pretty sure that wasn't what they meant. They were referring to the fact the OP said "these are the ONLY...". How does the OP know they're the only parents who sought help elsewhere before calling on Supernanny?
The kids weren't actually out of control, they were just unstructured. They were really great kids and the parents are lovely too.
they were out of control
The whole family is out of their mind
You mean you don't like the pipi dance? I thought it was just great@@wednesday6127
that dads excitement to spend time with his boys, when he realized he could was priceless!
This was the best part, his eyes were absolutely sparkling because he was that excited to have even more quality time with his kids.
Alone, at that.
And he clearly had so much respect for the mom too.
Truly wholesome. 🥺
I love how scientist dad put lip balm on the sore foot! He knows about placebo! 😆
im high asf and i audibly laughed at that n replayed it to laugh at it again
@@destiny3337lol I did too.
@@destiny3337same 🎉
LOL!!!
Fabulous 😂
People will still look at them out in public, but now they will be admiring how well behaved their boys are!
Nicely said ❤
Agreed 😊😀
I love how beautifully this episode illustrates that parenting is the great equalizer. PhD or high school dropout… we are all clueless at times 😅
Not often you hear Jo laugh the way she did going frog hunting in heels.
They’re so cute these parents. Absolute nerds and I love them for it and mean it in the most kind and non judgemental way! Theyre just adorable.
these parents are the best I have seen on this show. They seem like such warm, fun and caring people. Their children are so lucky to have them.
I agree 👍💯
Get on with it
Isn't it lovely to watch these parents embrace the learning process. Jo certainly loved their enthusiasm as well. These boys are so cute.
@marylyn66 - Can you tell me what is lovely in this family ? I see only neckled kids and totaly silly adults 😞
These parents seem like cool, sweet people
they really do!
They’re laid back lol
Cool, but totally clueless 🤦♀️
@@Orangechairstudios0520 they have to start working put their kids in the same page
@@chronixgamingferret6960 I know they are they had to take disability being the same page together
Humor, intelligence, and lots of love! So fun to watch these positive parents learn from Jo, with humility. They don't have the big, fancy houses that most of the Supernanny (USA) families inhabit, nor the tension and anger that accompanies their materialism. These two are joyous and have their priorities straight.
Best comment here
These were some of the better parents on the show. They truly meant well and seemed like sweet people, they just seem like they don’t have experience with little kids and needed some help. They almost seem TOO nice and needed to learn to be assertive.
The difference here seems to be these people want to be around their kids. So many parents on here don't seem to like their own kids. Is heartwarming to see this lovely family 😊
Very true.
I love these parents. They were so engaged with their kids and so willing to learn. I’m so proud of them ❤
What video were you watching 🤦
@@melaniekendall4903 funny how people see what they want to see isn't it? These parents are ridiculous
@@wednesday6127how😂i love them.. i mean yeah they're not as good as in parenting but theyre nice people
This dad LOVES those boys! It's so adorable to watch them together.
I’m going back into my phase of watching Supernanny
It's the kind of stuff you watch for hours at 3am
tbh same LMAO
Same!!!!
@@heythisanimalcantalk yep!!! It’s especially addictive to watch in the wee hours. 😉
Me too.
Jo pretending not to know the family at the grocery store 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love the dad putting lipgloss on his foot... The dad was just trying to do anything that would help.
They are probably the one of the easiest parents to deal with ever! They listened to jo’s advice and tips while she was gone!!
the way the camera kept panning back to that old lady at the store 🤣🤣🤣 her face???
Loved these parents. They accepted they were doing things wrong and were willing to put in the work to change that. I wish their family all the very best in life
It's interesting that in 8 (or 7) seasons of Supernanny show, how little parents really took effort on reading about kid parenting and trying to learn something to make their kids live's better the same way that this couple did. It's good that they knew when to call her and even tried consulting people on the matter instead of just "giving up" on their kids
This may be my all time favorite family. Because the parents took Jo seriously and put in the hard work, the kids caught on quickly and all of their lives changed for the good. ❤
I love how professionally dressed super nanny is! It shows respect for her clients and herself.
Those parents are the sweetest! I would have loved to grow up in their house. Those kids are very lucky.
I just love these parents! I love how Will was beaming at Michelle when she finally got the boys in bed. I just Looooove these folks!
they not only have never-ending love for eachother, but it’s very obvious they have that same look in their eyes for their boys as well 🥹💜.
Omgosh such gentle souls are inside these parents,it just radiates right out of them.
These parents are so fun to watch! One of my favorite families!!😊
SO satisfying to see parents who are truly trying to do the best for their children and are willing to admit their faults and put in the work. They seem like wonderful people and great parents ❤
This family was the sweetest ever. And their two sons are darling! What great parents!
I love how open they are and how willing to take responsibility and move positively towards change.
Those children are immensely lucky to have such great parents!
True but it shouldn’t be luck, every child should have loving, patient parents like this 🤍
Bless. They had been trying so hard. You can tell they are very much loved. Such sweet parents.
These guys were such lovely people, not arguing with each other, laid back and obviously love their kids so much, I think they did brilliantly with Jo's help. One of the nicest episodes. 😊
Love this family they are lovely and accepting that they need help and did engaged themselves without complaining about the nanny's instructions
At least they have two kids to worry about I’m glad it’s not six
But the lip gloss was funny 😄
Absolutely enjoyed this episode! Loved how mom said say bye to auntie at the very end! So adorable! 36:20
This was always an upbeat show. I remember it as Nanny 911. These folks are certainly intelligent, but their common sense was missing. Kids can’t be treated as small adults. They truly need discipline and guidance!
Jo being shocked and excited about frog hunting 😂
Their smiles watching how far they have come is beautiful
The frog hunting is wonderful though
In 2023, they are:
Will Smith: 64
Michelle Smith: 56
Nathan “Nate” Smith: 19… he will be 20 on July 21st
Ari Smith: 19… he turned 19 on March 7th
Will Smith like the actor 😂
William smith
They looked in their 50s,back then.
Omg 😆 what are the odds of that that this guy’s name is will smith 😂😂😂
I hadn't even caught that on til I read this 🙈🤣
Hahahahahahaha! 😂
I know right! That was the first thing I noticed, lol😭😭😭
And he’s about to be dr. Will smith 😂
I realised This Family has no relation to the actor of the Fresh Prince of Belair.
This is one of the most energetic and laughable Supernanny episodes!!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰😇😇😇😇
Adorable parents glad that they called Jo for some parenting help. All the best for them all. ❤
I think Jo genuinely enjoyed this family. They are fun.
Lmao hunny u just put lip gloss on his toe! Omg dat was da Best ever!! Lol 🤣😂😅😆
The parents are so kind. Amazing people. The dad especially just is so great to see
4:20 I love how they keep reusing the same sound effects in every episode.
Dad puts lip gloss on the kid's toe when her hurt it?? Hey, it worked, didn't it?? He's not crying anymore, right?? Whatever works!!
This is my favorite episode, I love these people!☺
Me too I agree with you 😊
Yes this is my favorite episode too, nice
It's lovely to see parents not resorting to smacking, the belt + using hot sauce
Jo Jo is Amazing, i love how patiant and willing she is and i love her determination.
The very first thought I had was when you see people who are very intelligent, it seems they struggle more with common sense kinds of things. These guys took to it very well. So loving and kind and now understand that they need routines and boundaries just as much. Great job guys!
I wish I could go to Hawaii. It looks so beautiful. It looks like Jo got some sun. I hope she had her sunscreen
It's beautiful!! We went for 2 weeks but it's EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!! Housing is ridiculous.
@@deannakinsman6790 yeah the housing market is right up there with california and oregon. Crazy stuff

Hello, how are you doing.?
I love how jo pronounces Michele as Mechele 😂

I do too. Very French.❤
I love these parents. Especially dad. Kudos on being an awesome dad, dad!!!!
Wow, these parents of very calm when it comes to dealing with rowdy kids!❤
This has to be my favourite episode ever what wonderful and lovely parents. 😊
I loveeeeee these parents!!! ❤ Bravo Dad for the placebo 😂😂😂
This episode was really encouraging for many parents who feel frustrated with their kids
A+ for this family: congratulations to everyone!
This episode was my favorite, because it's mostly parents like these who are watching supernanny to learn and not the extreme cases.
The major theme is that all of these parents use the word “OK” at the end of every directive they give their children. You’re not supposed to be giving them options when you’re giving them directives.
I love these parents! They seem so fun and loving, they took everything in their stride and listened to Jo
OUTSTANDING!!! Great job parents, kiddos, and Jo!! The team work you all showed is very motivating to other parents and I wish I had you when I was raising my kiddos. I am implementing some techniques that I have learned while watching with my granddaughter who I watch during the day. She doesn’t need much but I have the tools if needed.
The mom is me. “Nooo there is no one more book”
He will remember the feeling of getting the magic bottle even if he will not remember what happened. So nice parents, the love was shown from the beginning but now they have some structure to.
They’re so sweet family! Except when the kids goes to bed and the boys came out from the bed and the mother picked him and threw the boy on the bed. She should nice and put them nicely in their bed. I believe she’s good mother.
This was an amazing family! These parents are so wonderful. They didn’t push back and get “disrespected “ when she explained what the issues were… ❤ they followed through
I LOVE this! These are probably the loveliest family on this channel!
as of 2023: Nate is 20 years old and Ari is 19 years old
I would love to know how kids from Suppernanny are now. Also it would be nice to see what they remember from filming the show.
@@_kim123 it's not supper
And the parents are 59 and 67!!
@@melaniekendall4903 I guess not; Nate never did succeed in baking Ari in the oven ;)
Woah!
These were the most accepting parents of supernanny that I’ve ever seen. They were so likeable and calm and dads so proud of his kids🥺
this is the living proof why educated parents are way better than others. these parents are the best
I've never been slapped in the face by my own child so I don't know what kind of education these marine biologist doctorate degree people have
Scientists. Highly well educated scientists I guess. Studied so hard and I believe that they are very good at their jobs. And then being quite old, they decided to have kids. They are so clumsy and so sweet and they have no idea how to handle kids. So lovely people! Thank God Supernanny told them how to do it.
Jo in paradise (Hawaii). I've been to Hawaii 4 times & it's the most beautiful place on Earth.
The fact that the house is so small is chaos. Don’t know how the kids can sleep in the living room.
Wait did I just hear one kid tried to cook the other in the oven 🤣🤣🤣
0:16 Will Smith?!

The dad won my heart.
All jokes aside, they are fantastic parents❤
If you're raising monsters
These are great parents and great kids.
They won't discipline their kids. Kids need boundaries.
I thought they had 3 kids for at least half of the video 😂 what good energy and patience mum and dad! Keep up the hard work ❤
There are definitely my favorite parents for the best reasons. Such kind people and humble, eager learners.
Love the parents they made me smile and laugh, they show so much love... ❤
This family is so beautiful ❤️ the parents are loving, have willingness to change
Loved this episode so much!
I love Jo but the parents are too lenient. Potty training is needed
This couple is so adorable! I sure hope they make it; I think they will.
This was such an uplifting story! I love the parents. Such love for their boys. I wonder how the boys are doing today.
Best cutest couple and fun! The kids were ready to change after gaming it up for their frustration-lol!
These were the best parents I've ever seen on this show. I bet their kids turned out great. They're probably my age now and I hope one of them is single LOL
I think one is 20 and the other is 19, going based off someone’s comment
@Loren I totally disagree with you!
