Hello there ! I have a question about Patreon website. If pay 10$ like it says in link what kind of access do i get to plans... Do i get work plan with dimensions on in to do this steel bender ? I need to know if what kind of plan do i get... I wanna do this steel bender for my final project in school, so it's really important for me. If somebody who knows how Patreon works please give me answer.
This guy is a wizard with metal tool making. I've seen about 4 vids of him blast out a perfect tool for metal fab. simply amazing skill level. Regardless of the time used to complete (no indication of time lapse that i seen) its mad skills this gentleman exudes.
This is easy one of the best DIY channels on UA-cam. No show off, just work and technical mind behind it. Thank you for giving me more ideas then I can realize:)
+Nick Kolb yes. so are the wheels of sarcasm. I simply meant to play dumb because the rpm of the bit lined up with the frame rate of the camera and created the appearance of non-motion
You can always explain that by fancy rpm and frame rate explanations, in fact there is only one explanation to that stuff: it's black magic ! otherwise how could you explain the way he bends metal without effort ?
I couldn't help but smile when you were bending the first bit of square tubing. I was thinking to myself "What is he doing, is he making a metal hula-hoop?" then I saw you welding other bars to it and thought it was going to be a strange bicycle wheel and then saw you slap it on the press. I like your style of video, at least this so far -- first one I watched, but I think I'll catch a few more. Thanks for that!
One thing you could add is to weld a ruler near the hydraulic jack handle. So you can measure how much throw is needed to get the right diameter of a circle you need, and get rid of the jack handle slop to get a better measurement.
There are quite a few applications where "overbuilt" can be detrimental to the overall design. Things should be built "robustly" and "efficiently", not "heavily".
Making your own heavy equipment, multi angle-grinder accessories, the sand blaster... You can prove that your skills are saving you some important money. Super awesome work man! Keep going! :)
You win! That is awesome. I just finished building a roller that I can bend 20in wide 1/2in thick 6061 Al into a 20in tall 20in diameter or larger cylinder. Now I have to go back and do a bunch of mods to make it as versatile as your machine. I hate to love you. Back to the drawing board I go lol. You definitely do make it extreme!!!!!!!!
im speechless man...i mean...i really wanted to make a simple pipe bender but if i had the tools like you...id definitely do it this way instead. this is awesome!
Considering that this is done without the use of machine tools....... Just Bravo!!!! Add rollers to fix the tilt of the part, and will be just perfect!
The Title "Homemade", just doesn't come close. This is a Professional, Skilled Craftsman that just shared his knowledge with the rest of us. Brilliant !!! Thank you.
8:40 you can see some flexing on the rear right bearing support section. Not a long term good thing. I'm sure bolting it thorough the whole section with inner sleeve would have been better for you. Very nice work.
Get out! This is sooooo cool guys! My mouth was hanging open the entire video! Loved how you use the metal bender to make a piece for the metal bender! LOL! Are you guys in the U.S.? Love you're work!!!
What fascinates me is the apparent lack of planing and zero errors. I would need to draw it up before even attempting this but you just shoot from the hip and get it right. Obviously lots of experience.
I can make shit out of wood. Almost all of the furniture in my house came from my hands, some from the tree that grew on the wrong spot on my property. Thanks Norm Abrams for the knowledge and inspiration. I don't know how to weld. You make me want to learn. You have the filthy hands of a man who works honestly for a living. Your vids are right there with Jimmy Diresta for the best on UA-cam. PLEASE keep them coming. You rock.
My hero! Very very nice! I am about to retire after 40 plus years as a carpenter secretly wanted to work with metal!I am setting up right now and can't wait!Once again , very nice
at first I was thinking "this is really elaborate for something to bend basic metals" but then as I continued to watch I realized this is a multipurpose heavy-duty machine! Well done, definitely more than what I would require at home. Some of that steel was impressive, those thick pipes to make the rollers looked very heavy. Thumbs up!
Out of all the videos I have watched in youtube you are, by far, the most gifted person I have seen. Not just flattery, is the truth. Which type of welder are you using? Is it micro wire flux-core?
What saw brand is that you are using and what brand blade? Im interested in getting one but wasn't sure about the life span of the blade until i seen this video.
First time for me seeing one of your videos. I thought I would see if someone had a clever idea for a small metal bender. Then you start cutting a hundred pieces of square tube and welding them. Then you pull out these big pillow blocks, and I am wondering what the hey? Very impressive metal bender design and execution, and very impressive video. Thanks!
The Plans is ready about the Bender! :)
Get the plan: bit.ly/MIEplans
Good
Make it Extreme what is that for a music

This is awesome!
Thank you my friend! :)

Using the machine you're making to make a part for the machine you're making. Icing.
The way you can make your own tools so professionally is just fascinating man.. You're amazing great job
Thank you very much! :)

Thank you very much! :)
I agree with you
9:16 through 9:22 the magical self-cutting lathe, no spinning required!
That's a mill.. And the bit is spinning
+Nick Kolb yes. so are the wheels of sarcasm. I simply meant to play dumb because the rpm of the bit lined up with the frame rate of the camera and created the appearance of non-motion
Ahhh I see my bad
All good sir
You can always explain that by fancy rpm and frame rate explanations, in fact there is only one explanation to that stuff: it's black magic ! otherwise how could you explain the way he bends metal without effort ?
Great Stuff! You know you're onto a winner when the tool you're making has a hand in it's own completion!!
Who thumbs down a video like this?! this is amazing!
Not that I would give it anything g but a thumbs up but the music is reaaaaalllly irritating.
The jealous clowns
AMEN!

Parents, take your kids Xbox and throw it down a cliff. Get them a welder and some hand tools instead

That thing is WAAAAAAAAY overbuilt! That's how stuff should be made.
Thank you! :)
Simon Richard can ask f how we can get a plnan for this home made pipe binder just i see
Simon Richard the plan of home made metal bender

My hero! Very very nice! I am about to retire after 40 plus years as a carpenter secretly wanted to work with metal!I am setting up right now and can't wait!Once again , very nice
Thank you very much! :)
Just a bit light though. More steel should do the trick!
at first I was thinking "this is really elaborate for something to bend basic metals" but then as I continued to watch I realized this is a multipurpose heavy-duty machine! Well done, definitely more than what I would require at home. Some of that steel was impressive, those thick pipes to make the rollers looked very heavy. Thumbs up!
When heavy is not duty enogh :)
So something that i cant break, with in hour or so... Great! I dig this!

I loved that sound crispy when welding...😂😂😂
holy fuck that is one of the most badass things ive seen made, screw the fantasy swords, screw the home made guns, this is top shelf bro great job
Interesting shots when milling the key way where the endmill looks like it's just dragging through not rotating.
Truly awesome to watch your work! I wouldn't be surprised to see you recreate the Doof Wagon!!!
Love the idea of using the metal bender you are making to make a part of the machine itself!
This is like a shaper origin for plasma cutting, amazing idea.
Out of all the videos I have watched in youtube you are, by far, the most gifted person I have seen. Not just flattery, is the truth. Which type of welder are you using? Is it micro wire flux-core?
you might consider a harbor freight electric pipe threader to power it, your metal working skills are top notch
Thanks
I have made a bending machine. Valuable info. I have motorized it and works like a jem.
Exceptional! Very well done! Bravo Sir!
