    This guy is a wizard with metal tool making. I've seen about 4 vids of him blast out a perfect tool for metal fab. simply amazing skill level. Regardless of the time used to complete (no indication of time lapse that i seen) its mad skills this gentleman exudes.

      +Nick Kolb yes. so are the wheels of sarcasm. I simply meant to play dumb because the rpm of the bit lined up with the frame rate of the camera and created the appearance of non-motion

      You can always explain that by fancy rpm and frame rate explanations, in fact there is only one explanation to that stuff: it's black magic ! otherwise how could you explain the way he bends metal without effort ?

    I couldn't help but smile when you were bending the first bit of square tubing. I was thinking to myself "What is he doing, is he making a metal hula-hoop?" then I saw you welding other bars to it and thought it was going to be a strange bicycle wheel and then saw you slap it on the press. I like your style of video, at least this so far -- first one I watched, but I think I'll catch a few more. Thanks for that!

  • @qqqqqqqq1407
    @qqqqqqqq1407 8 років тому +1

    One thing you could add is to weld a ruler near the hydraulic jack handle. So you can measure how much throw is needed to get the right diameter of a circle you need, and get rid of the jack handle slop to get a better measurement.

      There are quite a few applications where "overbuilt" can be detrimental to the overall design. Things should be built "robustly" and "efficiently", not "heavily".

Now I have to go back and do a bunch of mods to make it as versatile as your machine. I hate to love you. Back to the drawing board I go lol. You definitely do make it extreme!!!!!!!!

    8:40 you can see some flexing on the rear right bearing support section.

    at first I was thinking "this is really elaborate for something to bend basic metals" but then as I continued to watch I realized this is a multipurpose heavy-duty machine! Well done, definitely more than what I would require at home. Some of that steel was impressive, those thick pipes to make the rollers looked very heavy. Thumbs up!
