Nice fish you guys killed it but please be more gentle with the fish. Hold them in the water for a few seconds and let them kick off by themselves. This isn't WrestleMania, the fish don't have to jump from the top rope.

Beautiful fish, nice job! Going to Pittsburg for the first time end of september, staying on Middle pond. Any tips on where to salmon fish that isnt fly only?

4wt 8.5 ft rod, long leader with a long section of 5x couple of split shot and some heavy nymphs. Or same leader and a white Wooley bugger

I think so, but we stay at partridge cabins
Please don’t stress the fish we just preserve the species and make sure to take a water temperature before even considering getting your line wet. If the water above 69 degrees you will kill the fish. True fisherman take this into consideration
This was filmed at the end of May no worries about water temperature. This is also a put and take fishery some of the fish ended up in the chowder
