I camped and kayaked there years ago and paddled the 3 Ct lakes, Lake Francis and Scott’s Bog. Scott’s Bog was one of my favorite places to paddle. Peaceful and wildlife everywhere since no many people go there. Time to head back up there come fall. Thanks again
Enjoyed your video very much. I went to Pittsburg for 20 years in the fall for a long weekend. The road trip you filmed was great to see again, Young's store and a few new places. I drove that same road many times. Thank you for the memories.
I went up to Fourth Connecticut Lake in September 2022. I live in central CT and it was fun to follow the Connecticut River all the way to the source. We stayed at Deer Mountain Campground just down the road, and at that point the river was just a brook right behind our campsite. I ALSO took a picture of that gnarly house you had in the intro. Great area.
It's a tough hike in the beginning, but levels out nicely. There are so many nice hikes in Pittsburg. I lived there for a very long time before retiring to Florida almost 6 years ago. There are many cameras out there, so ladies if you squat to p, pretty good chance you are being watched.
The Northeast Kingdom in Northern Vermont is a place to visit with all the beautiful lakes and hiking trails. The Burke Mt ski area is know for trail bike riding competitions and Lake Willoughby which is a gem as are the other lakes. As a New Englander I love traveling up in that part of Vermont
That looks like a great hike! So you normally walk with a dog? So do I, sometimes. Our dog is too young for longer hikes for the moment... Have a great day! Kaat

Used to have a place in Errol , drove up to Pittsburg plenty of times. Thank you so much to show off road adventures that I never did.
Hiked that trail a few years ago and was just overgrown and too much for me. Glad you showed me the views. Thanks 😊
I miss fishing Perry's stream and cookbook bog. Clarksville pond had beautiful brookies and huge bulkhead. Great to see those woods again. Thank you!!
You’re welcome. I am due to head back up in about a month and a half. I’ll have to see about another video. Thanks for watching!

@@RomeoEdward You’re welcome. I’ll be back there again this October.

This will be my 14th year going up to Pittsburg. I take a picture of that house every year. The area is very special.

That was so cool! My type of vacation! Thank you for sharing! Be well and Trai on!!🥾
Pittsburg is a very special place. Nothing much around but, that’s what makes it perfect. Thanks Tracey. ❤️🥾

@scotsmanofnewengland7713 I went to Lyndon back in the 90’s. I spent a lot of time at Willoughby.
Now I'm going to look up cabins!!!!!! We did this a few summers ago, loved it! Did it feel weird hiking without Isis?
No. I actually hike without her quite a bit since Monadnock doesn’t allow dogs. She’s getting older and appreciates the break sometimes.

It was a great hike and yes, I generally hike with my dog. This was an area that didn’t allow dogs. She’ll be back on the next hike.
@@MousesAdventures Dogs are great hiking compagnons. I'm looking forward to Frodo getting bigger and being able to walk more! 😊
Fourth Lake does not border VT.
Would enjoy a hike with you! Greetings from Maine...Are you married?
