This was a gud short but noy enough time for u to give enough info for beginners. Some "Fashion" Watches have there place in a collection. I like to think Nixon, Accurist, And Some Lacoste and Calvin klein watches. Preferably on sale.

I wouldn’t say a “sports watch” is for playing sports in. A sports watch is a certain style distinct from a dress watch, and more rugged (thicker bezel, waterproof etc.).

tourbillon is a type of movement, nothing technically to do with the style of a watch.
True, but I'm not necessarily referring to styles of watches
Pilot watch is the vaguest term ... the only concrete things ive heard about what a pilot watch is, is that it should have large numbers to read quickly and possibly a chronograph.. yet half of them dont have these things so its really mostly a branding thing ... to me a pilot watch should be a GMT, since they cross time zones more than pretty much anybody
Automatic watches are my go to as a dress watch but for everyday use I use a Casio G-Shock G-5600E good little solar watch

Anti magnetic watches. As a locomotive engineer being in a locomotive 12 hours a day. The high voltage and currents we are around seem to magnetize mechanical watches.
