God bless you. I'm losing my teeth also. I grew up in the 70's eating candy and candy bars and drinking soda. Then in my teens when I was able to work I would drink coffee everyday. And now I am paying for all that. I'm now 50 and I hide my mouth wearing a mask because I am so ashamed to show my mouth. Not many teeth left because they been falling out since I was 36 year after year. Just do not want people looking at me different. Great video
Heather B is a wonderful person indeed. She has helped so many people through their dental journey. Sugar addiction is an awful thing. I'm sure you saw no connection with your high school acne and the sugar. You are so much better off without the decay and infection in your mouth. Nobody knows your story so nobody should judge anybody else. Sharing: I just had upper full extractions and am now in an immediate upper denture and although it has its challenges, I wonder why I waited so long to do it. You are a good roll model for your three kids. The one tip I can give you is order some Cushion Grip (I don't work for them) as it will put a soft cushion between your gums and the hard plastic of the denture. I think it is better than the soft reline from the dentist. Good luck on your journey!
Just come across this video dude. I was born in mid 80s and started losing my teeth in my teens, dentists made things worse and then I developed a fear. After years of trying to get the fixed didn't work, fell into a severe depression after dentist gave me a denture that didn't fit properly after a few weeks. Dentist response was "that's your denture deal with it" so I locked myself away for 3 years developed stomach issues for a long time due to not being able to eat. Been trying to seek help but dentists in uk are terrible
I hear what you are saying about the loneliness of this drastic life change. I had my teeth yanked with just novicane and that was drastic. I had "immediate" dentures ... trainers so to speak and they will be my teeth until I get my "real" dentures after 1 year. Yeah, getting food and nutrients is tricky, but, I got somewhat healthy frozen dinners, frozen mixed vegetables, and, bone broth. To prepare my food I would cook 5 oz. frozen vegetables with 6 oz. bone Brothers and cook 3 minutes in the microwave and then cook the frozen dinner 🍽. When the frozen dinner is done put it into a food processor and add the vegetables and bone broth and blend for 1 minute. That was for lunch and for dinner. For breakfast I will drink a Boost protein drink with fiber and applesauce. For my other fruits I go to the baby food section and get evry variety of fruits they have (in pouches) ... even if it had vegetables, sweet potatoes, oatmeal, yogurt ... whatever ... it's healthy and convenient. It's been about 12 weeks since my extractions and I am still trying to wrap my head around the ordeal and I only wear my teeth when I go out and they come out as soon as I get home. I have not tried to eat with the upper and lower teeth yet. Everyone going through this ordeal has their own experience and it is very helpful to watch each one and I thank each and every one of them for taking time to put their own story out there to help others ... like me. Man you're right!!! I just went through the same process, but I didn't give a Damn about what people think or thought of me!! I lost my teeth due to partying, drinking and having so called fun. I live in Korea, but the procedures are the same. I had 22 Corroded and messed up teeth removed. I get my new dentures tomorrow 4:45 Wednesday Korean time.. Stay strong and be safe..
My husband is without teeth right now. I will be soon at home not big deal. But when I go out now with my bad broken teeth I will wear mask. You are nice looking guy you are better off without the infected teeth.

But your video has shown me that it is ok cos i am me and should look out for myself and not care what others think i just cannot wait till i can get few teeth i have left removed but am scared of going dentist cos of what they think and i feel embarrassed but you have inspired me to go so thank you.

Sounds like they didn't do it right because you shouldn't have felt any pain. As someone who was abused by a very sadistic dentist as a child, trust me. They screwed you.

Won’t have my Temporary’s for 2 to 3 months.Permanents will not happen until January or February. I’m so proud of myself for finally getting my health back on track! ❤
Indeed, once you change the normal food you ingest, the consequences would be general, starting from the oral cavity, if only our parents sticked to what's natural and made it a habbit for us growing up, if I knew how bad the food industry is I would boil some eggs, eats some fruits and cheese and sleep, would never think of buying the supermarket shitty fake food, ruins your teeth your overall health, mental health.
I’ve always had a sweet tooth, but I went through a period a couple years ago, where I was eating candy continuously, as well as chocolate. I gained about 30 pounds but unfortunately, my teeth all rotten. I had them all pulled last month. Thanks for putting this video up.

Im 44 years old I was kind of wondering how old you were. Wow the further I watch this video the more I realize that's who I am right now. remember the glass bottles. This was in the 80's my dad would put shelled peanuts in glass Pepsi bottles. He would eat a peanuts and take a sip of Pepsi.
I loved bishops video but dentures suck it's so much work they don't stay in they fall out when u eat the fixodent glue gets all over ur mouth and gums u have to clean ur mouth at least 3 times a day with salt water gargle with it I hate dentures

The only chicken that I can eat without teeth (so far) is the Walmart chicken. Somehow your tongue is able to break it up. With chicken from the Chinese restaurant, I need my dentures.

I had a full mouth clearance a few months shy of my 30th birthday, 5 and a half years on and still no dentures😞 but I'm starting the denture journey soon and terrified is not even the word! I wish densurefit was available in the uk😭 I've heard good things about it. have you ever tried cushion grip? Is it similar to densurefit?
I didn't lose all my top teeth down to sweet stuff . I was the victim of domestic violence in the uk . All my front top teeth . So looking back this is where the story begins in the uk. I went to a dentist in Southall West london and because I'm an NHS patient was treated like crap. I felt like I shouldn't be there and left there crying.
Hi Bishop Tails, I see at least 7 if not 9 teeth that could have been saved. Could they not? I'm horrified that they were all removed. Yes I know that the gum disease would need treating and your habits changed. But heck. I'm sure you'll tell me not savable. I heard of a relatively young person who is having all hers out through smoking. The official version is that it was an inherited genetic condition but smoking is the worst as well as sugar. Good luck going forward. It's a crime that it's not taken care of by the system.
Dr.pepper was my drug of choice I had my teeth pulled a few months ago It's hard to eat with Denchures but at least the pains gon after my teeth were gon my son got me a big bag of jerky

I had 14 teeth extractive with only local anatesthia it hurt so much

Alot of people dont uhnderstasnd the pains of caffiene addiction, ugly teeth, and root pain. Man. You never forget the things people say.
I had and still a caffeine addiction and later today I'm getting 10-12 teeth removed and I'm a bit worried about it.
