- Once upon a time, In a magical land called the earth planet, there were 4 dwarfs riding a train in circles. No one knew where they were heading or where they came from, just that they saved the world from the zombie Apocalypse, global warming, and meteoroids. they were the nicest dwarfs. In this video, I make for 4 entirely different dwarfs.

See I was laughing my butt off about that and then I realized it’s actually really clever? Because you have such fine control over where the paint goes.
It was probably more necessary than you think, considering he was using his non-dominant hand the whole time.

The teaspoon would be held with a toolholder, and the cup would spin on a vertically positioned lathe to still the sugar.

@@macfain2000 when I was a kid I asked a guy about his painting technique at a warhammer store - turns out he was a troll because his advice amounted to "get paint on the brush and then put it where you want the paint to go". OK thanks I won't ask anyone about art ever again 😢

I’ve worked with lathes for a few decades and never once painted with one!
I had a bad hand injury many years ago. It was the simple, every day things one takes for granted being so much more difficult that got frustrating. So good to see you on the mend.

Painting with a lathe, just genius.
I broke my hand last year and went to work, but could only manage a half day, sometimes a bit more, before the pain was too much and I went home. I know how difficult it is to try and machine with one hand suddenly out of commission, so I salute you

@@Vikingwerk When I broke mine the hardest part was trying to wipe my butt with the wrong hand . Spent a lot of time in the shower with a plastic bread bag and a rubber band over the cast getting clean.
The hardest challenge for me was to not even break anything, and until now I never have

The painting with the compound was crossing the line, but only just too far. I can picture a stack of brushes loaded with different colours into a special tool holder to paint all in one go.

Very nice work, as usual! Hope you heal up quickly; when the time comes and you get the cast off and start physical therapy to regain strength and movement, be stubborn and do all the exercises! I broke my wrist a couple years back, and sticking with the exercises is super important!

Those are pretty cool. My Papa (grandpa) made a bunch of toy blocks for his kids. decades later his grandkids were playing with them, so they got a lot of use over the years.
