I talked to my doctor about your videos. I told her that your videos are no less then ten times more effective than my anti-depressants. When ever I have trouble getting out of bed I simply watch one of your videos. After the video is finished I feel able to leave the bed. If it is a weekday then I head off to work and try to apply as much passion to my engineering as you do to your art work. If it is a weekend morning I force myself to go into my workshop and there I try and be as creative as I can be, even when the task is as mundane as fixing my wife's blender. Perhaps someday I will try somthing more artistic. So, in closing, thank you very much for making and sharing your videos. I don't imagine that you set out to make them in an effort to battle depression half a world away. Nevertheless they do, and for that me and my family thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Sincerely, Leo
@@urituchmanpigeon, well your ideas keep working because I come back every time to watch your amazing videos. Keep up the good work my friend and I'll keep watching.
Tip: after masking, you may hit the workpiece with some clear coat and let it dry. Then paint second colour. This helps with bleeding/wicking under the tape. They look supe cool!
When I watch Uri, I get this overwhelming sense that if we were friends in real life, I would be endlessly fascinated by him and he would be completely bored by me.
This is (as usual) very cool. The one tip I would give you is: after masking, give it another coat of white to seal the mask, then paint the black...this will stop the "bleeding" of color under the mask.
@Josh Brown uri is from germany so why would you call this dutch? please get youre facts straight before opening youre mouth @ uri why didnt you use a smaller bluetooth?
@@MrMoonjo here in America when a lot of German settlers came the Europeans already here had trouble pronouncing Deutsche and instead called them "Pennsylvania Dutch" and later just simply "Dutch". Unfortunately the name stuck and with all the anti-German sentiment in the first half of the 1900's nobody was in a hurry to correct the name. Where I live in America there are still large populations of people who speak German in their homes as a first language and celebrate many German holidays and some of which include a "wooden dutch shoe march" where everybody gets together and walk down Main Street, playing music, and wearing old clothes (1600's style) and wooden shoes of a German design that are incorrectly labeled "Dutch shoes".
@@MrMoonjo That's not what he was saying at all. You're misinterpreting his intention, and being quite rude about it. The joke is not that these are "real" dutch wooden shoes, but that Uri has made an improvement upon wooden shoes. Don't be such a jerk.

@@manuelamendes5766 yup, a left and a right. Two feet, and two ears. The thing you'll be keft wondering later is... Was God planning on these speakers when He gave us both two feet AND two ears? And, was He expecting Uri to build them for us?
What a wonderful execution of that idea! I love that they are not "photorealistic" shoes but have that look about them that they are a prop. And when you know what they are, it makes perfect sense. Great hand work at carving them out. I was soo nervous when you carved close to the edges that just got thinner and thinner and.... Uhh. My nails.
My breath catches everytime you take a knife and like really dig it in because I keep forgetting they're not actually leather shoes. I so love your work Uri!
Whilst not huge, the presence of a heatsink on the amp does imply something of a heat dissipation problem in the enclosed sole of your shoe... best not drive them too hard :D
Uri Tuchman, I was going to say the same thing about heat. Could you hollow the shoe out more to give it more air? And maybe a passage opening up under the laces? They look magnificent, BTW. ;-)
Some forstner bits would work quite well and be much quicker/cleaner than the hole saw bits. But I always like watching you create these masterpieces with minimal power tools!
Nicely done, sir. Once again your craftsmanship has shown to be superb and you have created something iconic and unique. Thanks for sharing this video.

"Pine is not very delicious"
Would love to see a video of you ranking your top 5 woods by deliciousness.
Funny enough, for most pine trees the soft white layer just under the bark is edible ..and doesn't taste bad really.
"Don't think it should be too complicated."
This is what you say when making a square box to put speakers into.
yep
Brilliant!

"Four more of these baba ganoushes and we can make an omelet."
Sounds delicious.
I loved that! Gonna start saying "one more of these baba ganoushs"
Epic. Just epic😂
I love how, though 90% of your work is done by hand, you aren't afraid to use power tools in the rare instances where it's necessary.
What makes you look at a speaker and think "that should be a shoe?". I love all of your videos
Or vice versa
Honestly, I just wanted to make speakers and my shoes where laying around and I thought, "yeah, that could work"

Gotta be swing music from wing tips, right?
I think you have a few loose screws but they seem to be the right screws to have loose.
Great Project.
Everything you touch turns to gold.
You are incredibly and absurdly creative, talented, and intelligent.
I envy your knowledgeability and skill!
