Cwm Idwal, Snowdonia

  • One of Andrew's favourite places in Snowdonia (Eryri in Welsh) National Park in North Wales. He's been visiting there regularly since he was a young man. I believe he has painted this particular Cwm (Welsh for "valley") several times but this painting was inspired from a photograph. I've added this to the Acrylic Art Class Timeline as I'm sure it will be inspirational for us. The class is due to resume in February 2024

    Your mixes of colours are wonderful, would benefit us to know what shades of blues yellows and red you mixed to get such believable colours. I met the enemy in North Wales, never been back. Looks a lovely part of the world
