Watercolour demo recorded on 18th April 2024 at an art class for beginners at Penyrheol Chapel Caerphilly. The demo includes many interesting watercolour techniques.
This is lovely! I love how colorful the scene is. I’m wondering why you didn’t paint any reflections of the yellow and blue mountains, just the reddish one. Is that because they are thought to be set further back from the water or for some other reason?
I am glad you enjoyed the art class. I could have painted the reflection of the distant mountain. It was more a matter of time than anything else. I am always aware of keeping everyone's attention. God willing in the next few days I will be doing a post on face book of a hidden village in the Antrim hills in Northern Ireland, which Dave will probably edit and put on you tube and in the Thursday art class a thatched cottage on the Antrim coast
