The two Twitch chatters who alerted Voxy to the audio imbalance restored my faith in humanity. Then I immediately lost it again when rest of chat for some reason thought it was perfect before and made her undo it instead of just finding the sweet spot somewhere in the middle of her adjustments.
56:00 all that funny drama, but read the card LOL "attacked this turn" mean you can do it in the second main phase as well...and btw the turn before, because they dont have lethal, you could have killed their untapped creature ;-)
You can just wait until second main phase for screaming nemesis, the only time you would have to do it in combat is if the nemesis is dying or something.
55:20 couldn't you also just have Monstrous Rage'd the mouse a second time, giving it 6 power, trample, double strike, it would trample over the blocker for 10 damage, then the Screaming Nemesis would hit 3 for lethal.
It feels like you psych yourself out in Standard. Trust what you've learned about how to play Magic in Limited and bring your experience to Standard. Go with your gut, you're better than 95%+ of players, I bet.

I can understand training with arena for convenience but Voxy needs to practice with paper so she gets through all the awkward analog of irl cardgaming. The automation of arena also nerfs a lot of players ability to play optimally in paper
i always go immediate face with haste vs discard, otherwise your stuff go bye-bye. if it's pure discard they have nothing to put on their board and you win...in this case you gotta top deck better which is annoying because haste isn't designed for long games and you usually don't have the 5 mana for the kicker spell.

I think you sold yourself short just commiting to this it‘s a little disappointing but that is just my opinion. To me selling onself off as being overwhelmed by everything that requires any thought is neither cute, nor funny nor entertaining but that is just me though.
@@kunimitsune177 Yes and no, other colors don't do it as efficiently as red. Red aggro warps the meta because you have to build your decks to beat it, otherwise you're dead on turn 3 (turn 2 in best of 3, don't play BO3 that much but I assume Leyline is still legal there?). There's different Boros lists with or without Urabrask's Forge, I've seen an Orzhov lifegain/ping deck that runs out cheap stuff and OTKs you on turn 5 or 6 with Raise the Past, I've seen a mono green aggro Elves deck, and so on. You have time to identify and counteract their plan for basically the first 4 turns, and guess what, most value engines come at 3 or 4 mana. You don't have to build your deck specifically to counter those decks, you have multiple ways to approach the matchup depending on what you're playing (remove all their stuff while developing yours, try to race them with flying creatures or stuns, whatever), basically you wouldn't run any cards that you don't already want to run most of the time because of any of those decks. That's not true for mono red, that's why it's bad game design. But going back to your original point, I don't like playing these hyper aggro decks neither myself nor against them, because I mean at that point I might aswell be sitting here and be flipping a coin for an hour or two.

Nah, the different arts don't bother me. It actually helps keep me stimulated. I put every land as a different art if I love a deck.
I would be nice and polite and point out possible mistakes, and if there is time after rounds of ask if you'd want advice on deck meta

I'll be honest with you I've been playing MTG (not just arena, MTG in general) for about a month and I already don't like mono red players.
What you don't like is aggro, not red. Other colours do aggro too and red isn't JUST aggro.
